I created a new board and as the owner I have the Frames button in my toolbar, but a guest I invited to the board is missing this button.I know that other miro boards I am a guest on, I have this button.  Is there something I need to set to allow guests to create frames?

Hi, im new a company admin (we go to the enterprise plan). We ar now two company admins, but i can’t grant the company admin rights to my colleagues. Could only miro support grant the rights to a seccond admin?  Thanks for your reply.  Marcel 

I would love a feature where a single frame (including all content inside that frame) could be displayed and edited in multiple boards! EX.  My team created a “project planning” board that keeps progress/ tasks/ activities/ and assignments for all our projects. We link to individual boards for each project inside that board.  I would be great if there was a way to have that specific project plan viewable inside that project Miro board.  we then could plan out and update that progress inside that project board and the same information would update in the project planning board! I hope this makes sense and would be happy to answer questions if this is not clear.ThanksTerriljohnson_terril_j@cat.com

Hit Ctrl + K to create a hyperlink on a pasted screenshot (still missing the deprectaed Web Capture function, or whatever it was called) and discovered the newly released contextual menu that has replaced the previous hyperlink prompt. Please see the screenshot below if you’re unaware: Curious to hear folks’ thoughts. Overall, I like all these high-value functions being pulled in to a single keystroke / contextual menu. My only gripe is the loss of the immediate-single-keystroke Ctrl + K, replaced instead with Alt + Ctrl + K (I’m guessing Cmd + Opt + K on Mac, or something like that). My muscle memory reliably landed my left hand to Ctrl + K on the keyboard, shared with Windows OS and other tools. Generally speaking, if a shortcut uses a combination of Ctrl + Alt, I prefer its final alpha key to live on the left-hand side of the keyboard as opposed to the right, though this adjustment can be trained in. Just awkward at present. Regardless, the need to keep keyboard shortcuts locked in

Prior to the latest updates to the Presentation mode, I could move between frames with zero transition or sliding effect; the screen would instantly refresh with each new frame as I flipped between them. Did this capability go away with the new Interactive Presentation mode? Is the only way to move between frames to have it "slide" between pages? I use to be able to “fake” build effects with the instantaneous refresh. Is this feature now gone?

Hello,Is there a way to connect one shape with several other shapes, without a duplication of the lines and shifted lines?As you can see in the picture, it doesn't look clean and some of the lines appear thicker than the other, because multiple lines lay on each other.  I would be very happy if someone can help with this issue.

Hi Up until recently I could lock Grids (now called Tables) and people still could enter text into Cells. This behaviour seems to have changed in the last few days (approx. 15 March 2021).Does anyone else have the same problem?Any idea why it was changed? It was a super useful feature and I want it back!!! Please ;) CheersRalph

my board wont load it just spinningit was working then i attempted to load a board from the mirroverse now the board wont load at all  it just show the miro animation  this is just not good…we have been having problems all month all of these hacks and work around are a pain. it not a plugin im sure of that because it was working fine then just all of sudden had a problem after choosing a template from the mirro verse

TLDR: Probably can be fixed by adding “object-fit: contain” to the CSS for “.library-root__item--list .library-root__item-icon” to the Miro Board.library-root__item--list .library-root__item-icon { width: 24px; height: 24px; margin-right: 16px; object-fit: contain;}Icons are sometimes stretched in the Apps search on the Mio Board.Should be:They do not show up stretched anywhere else. We submitted a square SVG but at some point it was converted to a PNG and any transparent space was trimmed. That png is properly displayed on the marketplace page with a object-fit: contains css. but the CSS on the Miro Board App Search display does not have the object-fit: contains CSS.We cannot think of a way to solve this on our end. We already submitted a square image. One idea was to add a white background but then the icon highlighting in the SVG icons for the app would not look proper.

Hi, My use case is to create a diagram (similar to a uml class diagram) on the micro canvas. I basically parse complex code bases and after filtering and structuring relevant tokens parsed, I end up with a complex json data that has information about the different files, classes, variables, api calls etc. I want to draw a visual representation of that code base where an application is represented by a frame, and each file inside it forms a separate frame, which further contains shapes representing api calls and variables etc. I want to maintain the hierarchy in the diagram just like in the code itself- for example, a file containing a class, which in turn contains an api call, must be rendered as a frame (the file), containing another frame (the class) as its child, which finally contains a box representing the api call as its child.So, now that I have provided a context, I’ll come straight to the point. Hi. I am making a larger mind map and want to add dokuments to “nodes”. My problem is when I collapse a node on a higher level, the document do not disapear with the rest. How can I make the file hidden when I close level 1?Solutions?   

HiJust trialing Miro before I buy.When creating mind maps I click the + next to the root object and can keep adding more sub-text-nodes.  Each new node has a + to add another.But now after creating around 30 sub nodes I dont get the + anymore?I feel ive either hit a limit or turned on a design mode some how?Ive tried restarting…..deleting nodes and still it does give me a +.     I did create a new board which returned the + options…...then re-opened the first one and it still doesnt show the +.

I seem to be the only one struggling with a total loss of precision when it comes to selecting a shape with an arrow nearby. If I am not zoomed in enough, the arrow will systematically be selected rather than the shape, even if the mouse is multiple pixels away from the arrow’s start point. I also had the issue with shapes close to one another where I just couldn’t select the shape in the middle… 

HiMay I ask for your support regarding a question of a new user : I have received an update for miro and I need to set it up in my applications. The system asks if I want to keep the 2 versions of replace. Obviously I need to replace. Would you mind to confirm that the existing board will still be accessible please ? Hello!I was very embarrassed when I received the receipt mail from Miro a little while ago.I'm an English teacher and I use Miro for the lessons with students. It's increadibly helpful. I've been using it for a month and got a Starter plan for 1 member in March. I was charged 10$. Unfortunately, I haven't checked all the settings and allocated memebrs this month and automatically  I was charged 124$.I fully understand that it’s my fault. Hi Team,We’ve this fair bit of security concern where we’re trying to make our boards accessible (at least, view rights) to internal email addresses that do not have enterprise license like myself, however, we can’t do that in a continuous/regular fashion as each board has to be made accessible individually to 10s and 20s and sometimes 100s of different email addresses numerous times in a week (for different agile teams). This is extremely tedious and hampers the velocity with how we work in agile fashion.As a workaround, we tried following:Attempted adding the internal non-licensed emails to our various teams, however, that is not permitted stating that the “User x@company.com is not part of your organization”. Tried opening up the second option “Anyone with the link at Company”. Hi, I know Miro can present within Zoom breakout groups. My question is what happens when the group is ended, and the participants are called back to the main screen? If I’m working with a team in a breakout, then want to display what we accomplished to the whole group, once we’re out of the breakout room, how do I do that? Is that Miro screen exportable in some way. I need for that work to be seen by everybody. Looking forward to hearing ideas on this. Thanks.

1. If we programmatically create users for others can we make them with their personal email accounts? If so,  a. How do they set their password?  b. Can we programmatically set their password? 2. I imagine users get notifications when they're programmatically invited to a team, or new user account has been created for them; in general, is there a way to control which notifications are sent? I'd like for the app I'm building to control sending notifications by sending out a link to a shared board. 3. I want my users to only see the board shared with them, would they see anything outside of that? I.e. the miro user dashboard/home landing page.  a. If so, is there a way to lock their account down?

Hi,I'm new to Miro and development for it.  I like the ability to publicly share a link to my board to visitors for edit but am concerned about the link being comprised (possibly being sent to malicious users); so instead, in the app I'm creating, I'd like to know if there's a way to create Miro accounts programmatically when someone creates an account in the application I'm building so I can have users sign up for my site (and Miro) and be able to add them as contributors to a board later? I saw there's an API method to create a user, but I'm not sure this is the type of user I'm looking to create. Thanks, John C.

Hi - I have no idea why you would assume that once someone logs in with a gmail address, they would only ever want to use that gmail address ever again. Further, why, when I click on “help” and am directed to my browser, I am forced to use my work email address and cannot decouple these things. This is really poor, and potentially dangerous, user management policy.
