My first issue is with importing a powerpoint presentation into a Miro board for presentation.  i drag and drop the pptx file, then extract the slides.  The slides come over with words overlapping, in different places than they were on the original, and the pictures sometimes have what look like smears or lines and smudges of colour in them.The 2nd Issue is that when I attempt to delete the slide in Miro and copy and paste the individual slide from the powerpoint presentation it is blurry once in Miro. 

While browsing the Miro documentation I found some information about widget grouping: https://developers.miro.com/docs/interface-igroup  This was sort of helpful, it shows me the parameters that are needed for a widget group but it doesn’t include a method which can be called to create a widget group. There is a GET method to get a widget group but I can’t find any further documentation on widget grouping, are there any other resources in the documentation?

I currently am making an app that has cards that you can move around inside the board, and just want one SVG image of the card and have text that I can change since the messages can be changed from time to time, and making hundreds of SVG images with different text is not exactly ideal.   So I want to be able to create and image object and group it up with text, so I can drag the card around and have both image and text intact.

Hello I love Miro and I am using it to plan the shooting of my first feature film. I am currently using the free version and am okay with the current features for now, but one extremely important aspect for me is corruption (etc) -safety.It would be a disaster for me if I lost acces to my ever growing, comprehensive boards.- Either because of corruption, accidental deletion, or due to something in my or miro’s end.How to I gain maximum protection from this? How to I get the highest possible safety guarantee that I will never loose my boards. Does the paid versions help with that?ps.Also I would love to be able to work offline. 

I have 4G internet Connection, all other apps and internet works completely fine but Miro reconnects every few seconds, makes my whole work deleted between that reconnect period and I have work on same thing again and again. Is anyone has solution on this, please?\I tried with Chrome, Edge, Brave… same issue. 

Everything in Miro right now feels great, no complaints at all, except not being able to save offline as well. Recently we’ve been having intermitent connection where I am, I’m sure it happens to many of us, and it will continue to be a problem the more users you have. It would really be great if you could add that feature which is something most of us would expect of any software these days, even if the Cloud save works great.  Thanks a million and best wishes!

The “add to Jira” button on the toolbar is very prominent. It seems odd that there’s no way to remove it. For groups that never use Jira it’s a distraction. We work with a lot of novice Miro users, and anything that creates more UI noise is problematic.  maybe this is a case of Miro’s team listening mostly to users who are like them (that is, use the tools they use?) I have to think there are lots of other Folks facilitating workshops with Miro who have no use for this.  please allow us to remove this. 

Hi, I am from Ukaine. And I`m interested in free-Miro. How I can get it?

It is 2024 -- and Miro cannot parse Word formatting and paste things correctly. This is ungodly. Cut and Paste from other apps is a built in hindrance forcing you to stay in Miro -- and it is an awful user experience. Table management and office application integration is horrid. We will be leaving soon.

Hi all, I’ve been working on a scrum master agile road map for the last week and all my work is saved on this particular Miro board this presentation is due on Friday and I am beginning to panic as this has never happened to me before using Miro. Is there a quick fix for this as I really need this work. Any help to get this resolved would be much appreciated.

I’m trying to set the childrenIds of a frame via the Web SDK but it seems its not allowed. The documentation doesn’t mention that it’s a read-only property. Is it possible to associate frames and their content programmatically?Frame (miro.com)

Hello, everyone,today I tried to connect via my email to my boards, but the system does not recognise my email. The email used is the same and the only one where I have received all of Miro's communications so far, only now I am excluded from my boards (I can see one that everyone has access to, but only as a viewer). Basically I now have a new profile with the same email as before. I hope someone can help me.

This notification appeared even though my current subscription is set to expire on October 1, 2023, and I am eager to extend it.I am eager to proceed with the payment to ensure uninterrupted access to Miro's valuable services. However, I am unable to access the payment process due to the mentioned issue.Could you all kindly assist me in resolving this matter promptly? I want to ensure that my subscription is renewed before it expires. If there are any specific instructions or steps I need to follow.Thank you all in advance!  

I need help because the trouble shooting options on the miro website are not resolving the issue.  Miro doesn’t open in Incognito Tab I cleared cache  

Hello,I want to do some personal and perhaps shared SenseMaking around topics going on in the world. I am going to be intentionally vague about which topics and what SenseMaking means -- I don’t want to limit your responses.There are some rigorous models out there, I am open to less rigorous, more casual options.  I think in terms of a central question or thesis I am exploring. Coming out of that might be some sort of nodes to organize related thoughts. Individual nuggets might be facts or assertions -- perhaps they are “true”, perhaps they are up for debate. Maybe you could doulble click on the idea and get more information. In an ideal world, it would be like Miro as an interface on top of Obsidian (notes).So like a mind map with some extra finesse I suppose.If anyone is interested in describing what they do or sharing a screen shot, that would be cool. Cheers,Rob.

Hi all and happy holidays!Wonder if anyone has been experiencing this:Board w/ 48 frames does not export to Best Quality. No error message just spinning wheel that eventually stops.So far, this local Miro issue I’ve replicated in Brave and Safari Miro web.Would use low quality export wh/ works, but it has insufficient legibility.Weird. Have not had this problem in 10+ years on Miro/RTB.Any thoughts Sir @Robert Johnson? 

Friends, help me figure it out. I am the owner of the board. I logged in, changed the access settings for the team to the viewers. And he lost access himself! Now I can't work with the board. Although, I repeat, I am the owner of the board.

Hi, I created a miro account with my company email and strated a free version. I now have received an invite from my company to use the paid version of miro. I do not know how to switch to the paid version. I would appreciate your help. Thanks 

Question:When using the Connection Line tool or just drawing an arrow between the objects that are  far away on the board - is there a way to quick go between the connected objects?More details :It is a challenge to go the connected objects as the boards are very big and  complex as objects are  within in the visible area when zoomed in.  Tried to use the “Link” feature, however, this is not as user friendly as arrow/connection tool as we need to know the object names to link them.  Saw a topic on Arrow-Following, however do not seem to be exactly what I am looking for, hence posted this topic.

Multiple times today I have been working on my board and have changed text or moved an object only to have it revert back to its former state. Any thoughts on what would cause this?

I have added an app (MiroTeX) to my Miro boards to write mathematical formulas when a student doesn’t have a pen available.However, the students (who are invited as guests to the boards, some unregistered, some registered on Miro) cannot use the app. It appears only I, the board owner, can use it.Is this by design or is there a way to enable the app to be used by any guest with editing rights?
