Our thoughts and ideas!Understanding where changes affect the organisation is key to a successful product or service development. We have created a method called the Milky Way, which combines product (value stream), capability (what we do), systems or tools (what we need to be able to do) and information in one map.3 min intro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jq__kDY5w1AIt requires that an organisation invest time in understanding what they are doing = created a map. We have created a Miroverse template for that:https://miro.com/miroverse/the-milky-way-enterprise-map/We have also created a Miro Tool to export the data to Airtable, where we further can create more details data for onboarding. And some things in Miro as Layers :-)https://www.milkyway.international/milky-way-toolNot for everyone. But if you invest the time, it will pay off. And yes, there is a book as well: https://www.amazon.com/Milky-Way-navigate-accelerate-change-ebook/dp/B09H61612Y/

If you have 100.000 domain names lying around (because who doesn't have a hundred thousand domain names lying around)... Then, how are you gonna manage those? How are you gonna easily sell those for a good price and manage all of these 100,000 sales?Max de Mooij worked on the redesign of a platform that allowed this and will share how he structured and categorized all of this data.So if you want to learn how to keep your user research valuable and structured make sure to join us on Friday, the 14th of October, in this free BTNG Community Event!---📆 When: Friday, October 14th 2022 at 16:00 UTC/GMT+2📍 Where: Live Zoom Presentation👉 Register for this free BTNG Community event!https://www.btng.studio/events/structuring-user-research-with-notion

One year ago we published, “10 out of the box ways you use Miro” featuring 10 unique uses for Miro all sourced from our Miro community. From planning a trip to writing an entire novel, we were so impressed by all of the examples shared with us.We’re writing a follow up and would love to hear from you: how have you used Miro in a unique way?
Throughout my nearly two years on the Community forum, there have multiple posts where someone’s Free Plan team has gotten out of control, e.g., multiple un-wanted team members added, junk boards causing important boards to be view-only due to the 3-editable board limit, or maybe there was only one Team Admin and that person has left the company (in which case, depending on the setup, no new members can be added). Here are a few scenarios and how to resolve them.Table of ContentsDelete unwanted Boards (or users!) Creating a new Team and migrate all boards/users to that teamDelete unwanted Boards (or users!)While only a board owner can delete the board they created, a Team Admin can delete that user, assign their content to themselves, and then delete the content. This approach will also work if, for example, the board owner set the board’s Team access to View only - delete the user and take control of the board. You can always add this user back if need be. Creating a new
hi there! I am pedro, talking directly from RIO, brazil. I am an independent designer and facilitator, but most of all, I am a proud father of a wonder-girl - the most sparkling and innovative experience of my life. I've been using miro since 2019 and, now, I make miro boards even to fix a coffee. participating in the miro advisory panel, I have experienced more and more the power of the user's community and I would like to bring the brazilians and the portuguese speakers closer. so, I invite you all to the RIO chapter!with over 25 years of project experience, I've worked with different challenges from a notable and diverse variety of clients, always connecting people to solve complex problems through human-centered design. after running a design studio for a long time, in the last 4 years, I'm focused on planning and facilitating design sprints and co-creation processes. currently, remote and virtual ones, already having accomplished more than 30 since april, 2020. I believe collabora
I have developed the Card Flip extension using my company email. Recently I have joined a new company and can’t administrate my extension anymore. I have to migrate to SDK 2.0 and improve the extension but it’s not possible since I’m not able to login with my old email anymore.Deploy a new version of the extension as a brand new one also is not a possibility since it’s already published at Miro Marketplace.Any ideas on how can I regain access to my extension? Thanks,Adilson
Hi Miro Community! We’re interested in learning about your unique ways of using and embedding your Miro content, with colleagues, friends, clients, or your network. We want to see how you embed Miro boards into the tools, websites, or apps that you already use and learn why this is valuable to you. Some examples of embedding Miro can be:Embedding a live Miro board into your website or blog post Embedding a live Miro board into your document or notes app, such as Notion or Coda Embedding a live Miro board into your online courses and presentations Here is a great example of a Miro board embedded into a personal website by @Chris Stone :https://www.thevirtualagilecoach.co.uk/an-agnostic-learning-pathway Comment below and share your examples with us - we’d love to see them!

Hey dear Lean-Agilists!Just wanted to share a Miroverse template I published yesterday:Build Measure Learn! Build-measure-learn (BML) is a process of building a product, measuring consumer metrics, and learning from them to better respond to customer needs and improve the product for the ultimate sustainability of the company. It is one of the central principles of Lean Startup – a startup method pioneered by Eric Ries. The purpose of the template is to keep track on what’s in the different phases of the BML cycle. It basically replaces the traditional linear Kanban board (cards can be used instead of sticky notes in order to add more information).Anyone who has experience working according to Lean UX principles might recognize the cyclical concept – in Lean UX, it’s called Think-make-check. I will probably do a TMC template as well in the future. 😊Let me know what you think!
Howdy, dear Lean-Agilists!I recently had another template published in Miroverse: Technology Radar. The Technology Radar (my 10th Miroverse template!) is all about tracking interesting things, referred to as ”blips” by Thoughtworks. The idea with this template is to allow companies, organizations, departments, and/or teams to track techniques, tools, platforms, and frameworks that might be interesting for their business and operation.Hope you’ll like it!https://miro.com/miroverse/technology-radar/
The inking (using a SMART board pen) doesn’t work within the Miro board. Using your finger to write works ok but is not a good substitute for a pen. As the SMART board inking is not compatible any drawing or writing using the supplied pen only ‘overlays’ and doesn’t embed into the Miro board. Essentially it won’t save any inking using the pen.
Hey y’all!A while ago, Miroverse champions @Helena Brandist and @Anna Savina initiated a discussion about common pitfalls of first-time Miroverse creators. I figured a checklist might be of some help for people who want to submit templates to Miroverse, since there are a few pretty important things that are easy to miss.Enjoy!https://medium.com/@H_Stahl/creating-a-miroverse-template-heres-the-ultimate-checklist-f5684055825eAnd here’s a TL;DR community version:🛠 Start with a prototype board. When you’re done, copy-paste the content to a fresh board and submit the new board to Miroverse. 🔍 Consider the zoom level! 👑 Establish a dynamic visual hierarchy. 🕵️♀️ Give your template a searchable name (but don’t stuff it with keywords). 🔐 Group and lock shapes. 🏁 Set a start view. 👍 Give your board a nice preview thumbnail. 👩🏫 Add instructions, examples, and facilitator notes. 🗺 Make it easy for people to navigate by numbering sections.Special thanks to @Steven Sampson-Jones, @Emily

Hi Miro community!I’m curious if there is a moment you can point to where Miro helped your team break down knowledge silos, whether it’s a template that helped surface information and foster collaboration or just the tool itself giving your team the opportunity to communicate async and align. Thanks!
Hello Community,I have used Miro for about 2 years now but only very lightly.Any suggestions or inspiration for facilitating remote Infrastructure teams?
