when browsing for apps to add, having a way to read app descriptions would be helpful in the process of deciding which ones to add. Also, the wishlist form’s ‘Product area’ dropdown is missing a scrollbar.
Hey there. I very often use Miro Board Content in connection with ChatGPT or other text based AI systems (LLM´s). For that reason it would be so great, if there would be meta-information included into the connection lines, that than gets transfered into text, when the connection lines are copied (together with other elements, like sticky notes etc.) In the same sense, it would be even better, when other meta information could be implemented like:What type of field is it (shape, sticky note etc.) What shape does it have. What colour does this field has (for example). Like this, its so much easier then to communicate with a Chat-Bot.And like this a future for implementing powerfull LLM´s like GPT-4 via API access could also work better.Because the Miro included LLM is quite nice, still it does not reach the quality of GPT-4. Also for complex tasks, like Analysis of relationships between the notes is not possible, without adding that meta information manually. This would then of course need a button to switch this additional information on or off. Hope its kind of clear whats on my wishlist here. Thanks for your consideration,Benjamin
Currently, as far as I know, only the admin is allowed to do so.
I hope to be able to add an option for drawing irregular shapes. For example, when you need to select the position and shape of your living room in a floor plan of an interior design, it may not be a rectangle, but an irregular shapes composed of multiple different shapes. Therefore, adding a function of drawing irregular shapes can greatly improve work efficiency. 😀Moreover, when you finish drawing this irregular shape, you can also adjust the thickness of its outline, and the color, border style, opacity, etc, just like the other regular shapes Miro have already did.
There should be a feature for creating custom shapes or merging multiple different shapes, like drawing with the pen tool in InDesign. I love how user friendly and collaborative Miro is, but it’s difficult for me to highlight certain areas on say, a floor plan, with only the given shapes. This could be done like drawing with the pen tool, using a point to point method or by using the marker and being able to sketch over that area and fill the shape in the middle.
Would like a duplicated board to have options of copying into a different project at once instead of having to go into it after. Also would like duplicated board to be visible in the project immediately after when copying into the same project. Please and thank you.
I would like to be able to Favorite certain often used stickers and emojis so I can easily use them again in a next session instead of searching for them first.Or alternatively, that the “recent stickers”, which are already there during a session, are maintained between sessions. Favorites would be best, but maintaining the recent selection would already be great!
Hi, I have some ideas based on my experience to improve your program for a comfortable user experience. My ideas:1) Thickness for the arrow and arrowhead. Problem: In different situations, the size of the arrowhead remains very large and the line is thin and this does not change.2) Color palette. Problem: there is no function to remove a color from the color palette. I have to constantly create new colors for different projects and I get confused which colors I created for this or that project because there are already so many of them.3) Colors for stickers. Unfortunately a small selection of colors for stickers. The problem: when creating stickers for a project, I want to use colors that are appropriate to the project, but the colors are limited in the program and they do not correspond to the mood of the project. I think that it would be better to choose the colors yourself.I look forward to your response and incorporating ideas into your program.
I have a project with multiple template boards within. My coworkers are to use it for projects as they come in and they use the templated boards for each category within the project, ie product imagery, key art, etc. I need for people in my company to duplicate the whole entire project (with all templates) to start a project. This is really needed. Miro has been an exceptional tool but I just need further functionality. I’ve been in the weeds of Miro for a while creating templates and have identified a lot of things that would be helpful. Please reach out if you’d like a 1 on 1.
It would be helpful if there was a floating window kit of assets that people in my company could use as they work with our boards. It would contain simple things like company logos, arrows, tables, tags emoticons. OR it could contain whole templates that folks could within the board… empty review boards, etc. Happy to meet one on one to walk you through how we use the templates and share insights.
We have many brands within our Company so there is not a single standard that we could apply. For our global company to be able to leverage this functionality we would need to be able to manage Brand settings at a Team level. Even better would be able to create multiple brand settings and then simply assign a Team to that particular setting.
I would like to propose that Miro sponsor a group of facilitators / UX designers / disabled users to collaborate and test the most common facilitation exercises on Miro, adapting the exercises or creating workarounds, then publishing what worked as a “happy medium” for all disabled users. The challenge is that solving one problem often creates new problems for other groups -- for example, auto captioning the Talktracks, yay for Deaf and hard of hearing users -- but those who have speech impediments won’t be able to utilize that feature, so a workaround would be to write a timed script and have a bot voice it.Another use case scenario, now that we have AI, is to train it to read boards and describe the visuals to blind users. On and on potential solutions goes, we just need to create the documentation for the HOW.The ONLY THING WE NEED? Miro’s commitment. We have the people and the desire -- when searching for Accessibility related posts on the Wish List, there are SO MANY of us making requests!!!! We want it because we love Miro, but we also have principles and values we cannot compromise on. Miro, please make it happen so we don’t have to adopt other, less awesome whiteboarding apps! 😍
Hi! Would be nice to replace comments with other objects and move them to different boards. I love using them to show my students how to do the tasks. First I make them on my own board and then I move them to student’s board.
Every line I draw is crooked. I need a ruler and a water level.
This is what I want: My goal is to be able to capture a physical flowchart with physical components and convert it automatically to a Miro flowchart with editable elements (cards, shapes, text — elements that can make up a flowchart). I think this can be bit hit for Miro and its users working with business teams to improve business workflow.
We would like to upload PPT presentations, but our files are much larger than the current 30 MB limit. Please increase or remove this limit. It’s time consuming to split the file up to get under the limit. And, when we split the file up the slide numbers get messed up. Thanks.
Be great to be able to use the Production Workflow template and duplicate cards so they can sit on multiple rows (which we are using for teams) but be linked to other cards, so when you update one, it updates in other cards! How do others get around this in this template or similar?
I have Miro boards with many, many frames and I use the same terms repeatedly. I would like to be able to select a group of objects or a frame and search for text within that selected element. Is there already a way to do this?
Using the table app is possible to easily grab the column and move it left or right, even very far by drag and drop.Using the kanban app is possible to move the left or right column by clicking on the three dots for that particular column and choosing “move column left/right” from the context menu. This operation will move the column by one element right or left. It is inconvenient to move columns by many elements using this approach. Is it possible to add to the kanban app the “column moving feature” by drag and drop, as it is possible in a table?
While I can add the current members of a team to a project quite easily, this gives me an issue if team membership changes - new team members will not have any project membership unless / until they are manually added. It would be useful if a project could be set up such that the entire team it belongs to had full membership / permissions on the board, in such a way that this would always include the current team members.
