These are absolutely essential for mind mapping! I would be using Miro if it had these features. Currently I am continuing to pay for ConceptDraw MINDMAP even though I would much rather have an online platform like Miro to do this.

This is exactly what I’m looking for if I understand it correctly.

I have a slightly different use case but the principal is the same.

I’d like to be able to group any object and hide/collapse that group. The thing that made me think about it was for project planning where I have a bunch of cards representing tasks that can be moved in to a collapsed area when they are done so they aren’t constantly on show. e.g. what might happen in a kanban tool when you mark a status as ‘done’ and it automatically moves to a hidden lane.

I could also see this being useful for ideation sessions where you want to move ideas in to a parking zone for later consideration but don’t want them visibly on the board to distract people from the current session.
