I’m the idea generator for my company and the ability to capture ideas INSTANTLY when they come to me and record them and transcribe them at the same time is soooo important. Since Miro’s core is all about brainstorming and then organizing that into execution this would be essential to the core I believe….So here are my suggestions:Perhaps use the sticky note feature to do this, so build this into sticky notes So when you’re recording ideas its important to have the voice recording so you can play it and remember the inspiration, energy with how that idea came through… so later when I view the text transcription and don’t really remember it or relate to it I can listen to my voice and that will spark more depth, then I can add more text to refine it While we’re recording the voice note it's transcribing it into text at the same time. the transcription into text is really important so that we can visually see it and be able to organizing it visually at that moment or later on its important to have this feature available on the mobile app… so we can take quick notes (voice & transcription) on the go… It should be a “Shortcut” feature for iPHONE so we can easily click the “action” button on my phone and it automatically records, transcribes and adds the note to a pre-determined board called for example “Ideas” where all my ideas go into… almost like an inbox. so later when I sit down at my computer I can go through the notes and refine and organize them by moving them to other boards into the appropriate areas This would be critical for ideas generation and a seamless flow of those ideas to the boards etc. There's nothing like this solution out there. I have searched for 2 weeks. I love MIRO and I think it would be a perfect fit for MIRO to further expand its core of brainstorming to execution flow
We use connection lines extensively to link ideas to expanding text (for example a connection line between an entry in a mindmap to sticky notes outside the mindmap). When using the Table function this is not possible. When creating a connecting line (from a sticky for example) to the Table, the line moves whenever something is added above or below the cell or line you wanted to connect to, and it no longer connects to its original item.Similarly when removing the snap function (using Command on Mac) and putting the connecting line directly on the cell, the line has nothing to “hook on to” and just floats away as items are added in the cells of the table.Would it be possible to give Cells in a Table the same functionality as lines in the Mind map, in other words that you can create a connection line directly linked to a cell in the table, and that the line moves with the cell as the table expands.
I’d like to see native support for electrical schematics, including out-of-the-box Miro symbol libraries. I am aware of the Draw.io add-in, but that lacks some of the value of native Miro diagramming. I’d be inclined to use Visual Studio as a stand-alone drawing application in that case.
Hi there!I would really love a feature where I as an admin can bulk-move boards to different projects and to teams. I've been stalled a bit since I had to check who owned what board and then manually requested them to move it, which took a bit too much time than what I would have wanted it to take.Best wishes,Frederik
I would love to create a boards just for myself, using all the great features of the Miro application but without being a part of a team. I am already in a team for my school project and thus I cannot create another team, even if it’s just me. It makes very little sense to me that you cannot create private boards for yourself without being part of a team, meaning you cannot use Miro just for yourself while also using it for work.
It would be nice to be able to edit your personal palette (delete colours, sort them) and add gradients for use with shapes.
It was suggested I post this as a wish list item, so here I am.I wish that when people with separate paid accounts work together, that it would be possible to add each other to boards as team members without having to pay for an additional seat. For example, if independent consultant A and independent consultant B both have individual business plans for their work, it should be possible when collaborating on a project that consultant A can add consultant B to the team for that project.Or if an independent consultant is paying for their own business plan and they are working with an organization that uses Miro, the organization needs to pay for an additional seat on their license to include the consultant in the appropriate team.Miro is already earning income from each person with their business plan, why double-dip and charge a second time?I know I can add someone as a guest editor to a board, but the features they can access are limited. The point of this wish is to be able to have the same functionality I pay for in all of the paid-for teams I participate in.
It would be great to have a bigger colour palette for sticky notes. We use Miro for lots of different data types and frequently exhaust all the current colours. Additional colours are urgently needed.
I often need to add text and bullet points to a box that has a background and border. Right now, a shape can’t contain bullet points. But a text box can’t have padding and a border. So the only way to do this is to combine and group objects but then editability is awful. For example, as text is added, the text overflows and the bounding shape has to be adjusted. Please can we either have better text editing in shapes or the ability to add a border and padding to a text object? (Perhaps they should both be the same object just with different initial settings? But perhaps there is more to consider here with different scaling behaviours required)
Hi,With MindManager, you can add node/topic numbering which comes in really handy.Does Miro have that option when creating a mind map?
Hello Very nice that azure cards can be shown in Miro. Two things:I think selection should be split in area and iteration. Currently iteration is also in area but I think does not work. The iteration path should be visibel on the card
Enable Azure Cards exterior and details to be configured with regards to which fields display. On a current Miro board, a customer wants to see Bug Priority. The customer has access to the Miro board, but not DevOps. It would be nice to be able to add the Priority to the exterior of the Azure Cards.
Miro could be far more flexible to use for different industries if it allowed the ability to rotate items from the wireframe library. I found use for those items but was disappointed that I couldn’t use them for my purposes because they are geared toward UI development, and I can’t rotate them as needed.
I would like to display a video on the whiteboard. My job is as a character animator and I need to share movies for discussion and feedback. Please respond to this request!!
Hi, We use the frame feature a lot in order to structure our boards. However, when zoomed out the frame titles of closely adjoined frames very often overlap because they don’t scale down like other objects which often makes it difficult to navigate in zoomed out boards. Can this somehow be fixed? Best and thanks, Daniel
Hello,on friday I was a part of a big event with 220 people.I have the option to show miro in a workshop to a small group of them andI have seen in this event Mentimeter. It would be great if you can integrate this in miro: Please integrate it - it would be a much better option than the vote option at this time for miro. And beside of this it would be a perfect addition like unsplash and the iconfinder (It would be great if the integration would work in a same smooth way like those two tools.Michael
As an engineer (software) I need to be able to use specialized LLMs to generate technical and architecture diagrams in a text-based format e.g. mermaidjs or svg (accessible to LLMs and visually proofread-able) Using projects/LLMs with deep company context (claude enterpise, github copilot, atlassian ai) And then import them directly into miro. I “waste time” re-drawing things if I have to start from scratch in miro. CONSTRAINTS: Miro assist LLM as it is today needs to grow needs to work wth svg and mermaidjs (other text based formats) Existing import options !! Corporate data policy VSDX and all other import formats are inaccessible to me.
If I change the background color of a board from light grey to dark grey, hollow arrowheads are filled with light grey paint, so that they are not appear hollow anymore. It would be nice if hollow arrowheads are really transparent.
There are two ways of creating a document:uploading one that is prepared in external app, creating an empty doc on the website and editing it.Every endpoint that is supposed to return items/documents returns only those created the first way. Items have “document” type. However, for those created on the website there is no data returned and they are of “Unknown” type.Could you please fix it so that both documents work properly?
