As an engineer (software) I need to be able to use specialized LLMs to generate technical and architecture diagrams in a text-based format e.g. mermaidjs or svg (accessible to LLMs and visually proofread-able) Using projects/LLMs with deep company context (claude enterpise, github copilot, atlassian ai) And then import them directly into miro. I “waste time” re-drawing things if I have to start from scratch in miro. CONSTRAINTS: Miro assist LLM will never suffice Wastes time (unless it can work with svg and mermaidjs???) Existing import options !! Corporate data policy VSDX and all other import formats are inaccessible to me.
As an engineer (software) I need to be able to use specialized LLMs to generate technical and architecture diagrams in a text-based format (accessible to LLMs and visually proofread-able) Such as claude/gpt/github-copilot (enterprise) And then import them directly into miro. I “waste time” re-drawing things if I have to start from scratch in miro. CONSTRAINTS: Miro LLM will never suffice LLM context I would have in other places like confluence, github, and Claude AI projects. Specialized LLM/AI models specific to my industry, company, team Wastes time re-drawing things in Miro. Existing import options !! Corporate data policy No enterprise license for draw.io and vsdx and other tools corporate data policies would prevent me from putting sensitive company data on any current platforms/formats. I cannot use the existing import formats with LLMs.
If I’m in a physical workshop - i would often write a few sticky notes then hold them in my hand and walk up to board to place them in the right place. I would like to have a personal ‘palette’ or holding area, where i can hold sticky notes before placing around the board. This palette could sit at the side of the screen but stays with me when I move around the board, rather than having to go back to another frame each time to pick up a sticky note to place...like my hand it follows me around! This would be useful for brainstorming, affinity sorting and analysis of large volumes of sticky notes
Would be great if we could add custom fields / attributes / metadata for selected elements. For example, if you have a portfolio matrix or a project management board, you might just add the picture and title of the project/product to the board, but when selecting each item, you could add notes to it, some custom fields (like Asana) on timing, cost, category, deadline, … or any kind of note. This would also be awesome to filter what is visible (or dimmed) on screen by any preset custom field.Creately (Features | Creately) already has this kind of feature - which is mine opinion is a great advantage over Miro, but is implemented in a very clunky way.
I’m fairly new to Miro, so forgive me if there is already a solution.I have a frame with Layered Objects. I’ve learned that all Objects must be visible, in order to be included in the Duplicate; however, I noticed that the Objects lose connection to the assigned Layers in the duplicated Frame. Is there a way to preserve the Layer assignments when Duplicating a Layer?
In our company we already have different teams from different areas. They each have their own Spaces and Boards. What we are looking for is how to best manage Contributors: people we want to invite on only specific Spaces and Boards without having to add them to our team. For example, in our internal team we have 5 Spaces:three that are internal to the team one that we want to invite key stakeholders from Marketing team one were we want to invite people from the Development team Currently, our only way to manage all our Spaces and Boards is to either:add each person to our Team, which would jeopardize the visibility of our internal private boards manually add each key contributor to the Space or Board We are interested in having subgroups of people; we were can create a group of people from the same team, invite them with one click to our Spaces and edit their permissions (to view or to edit). This would let us invite and share our boards easier depending on the team we want to collaborate with.
“Automatically deactivate Guests” (Company Settings → Security & compliance → Collaboration) is a great feature! It would be even more awesome, if the admin can configure after how many days the deactivation takes place. 30 days isn’t cutting it for everyone. Give us the power please! :) ✊ That’s how the setting looks in the GUI
Hi Miro team!I think would be very helpful to be able to export bpmn diagrams to CSV files, like other professional diagramming tools.Kind regards.
It would be great to have a Pen tool but everything you draw will disappear after a set amount of time. Similar to how the drawing tool in Slack call works. This is great for drawing attention to certain area of the board but not actually drawing on it.
Hi miro team,Your've developed a great platform, so I switch from xmind to yours. But still you lack essential and trivial feature like ability to add so called markers to the nodes in the mindmaps. By markers I mean icons, symbols, numbers, etc, refer to mind please. These symbols would help to add ordering, or prioritize nodes. Also, would add more visuals hints to the information on the mindmap.
I encountered several issues while using the planner board:As soon as I use swimlanes, the filter is not editable anymore (covered by the header-area of the swimlane) with swimlanes, the load and capacity are hidden by the first azure card in the row: I prefer to have the iterations as swimlanes to use the board as User Story Map. For this, the capacity and load should also be available on the swimlane.
When trying to adjust the cell sizes of a table, I have to do it one at a time. I wish there was a way to select them all and format them all to the same size (Height and Width). Just like I would like to, if possible, delete multiple columns or rows at the same time. Thanks. Best Regards Guliver Terada
Absolutely love your product and use it quite a lot but...When selecting a shape for editing, IMHO it would be much more intuitive & ergonomic if the edit-menu popping up would show all text-related buttons / commands as a group and would not mix text-related with shape-related buttons / commands.Currently the ‘text color’ & ‘text highlight’ buttons are positioned on the right of the ‘shape border’ & ‘shape fill’ buttons, while ‘text font’, ‘text size’ etc. are positioned on the left. Maybe it’s just me, but I can no longer count the number of times I hit the wrong button or had to move my mouse back and forth when changing text format...Not sure if there is some copyright pending on this 🤔, but eg. word processors and email clients typically group them. Customization of the edit-menu like offered by some platforms would be the cherry on the cake, but very much nice-to-have.
Possible situation:“User-A” leaves company and has boards/spaces/templates. When deleting “User-A” you have the option to reassign these to “User-B”. If you do that, “User-B” does not get informed in any way. It would be nice if Miro would send out an email to “User-B” with a short summary of which boards/spaces/templates were reassigned. Or at least a short notification that some boards/spaces/templates from “User-A” have been reassigned to “User-B”. Greetings from Cologne!
For example highlight or list all changed or new objects since I last was logged in or from a given date.
It is very annoying that the text size scales with an object size. This might be useful in some instances but requires much redundant mundane fixing if all you want is a unified text size across multiple objects.
Hi team, I have 1 big and very important issue we are facing as a team.We as a team are never able to update colors of the icons we are using in Miro, which is quiet easy to use in Mural. Could you please check and improve this feature of yours soon? or else, we will have to switch back to Mural.Alternatively, please let us and enable us a workaround for this feature to work.Thank you, Raushan Raj(+91)-8792338744
Hey Miro community,I use Miro with our product teams for retrospectives. Multiple people share their comments on the board, and it would be incredibly helpful to see who wrote each sticky note. Is there any chance this feature will be implemented soon?
Wie können wir die ‚Jungerwachsen‘-Seite sowie zugehörige Inhalte (z. B. Flyer, Social Media) möglichst effizient gestalten, sodass sie dem Stil und Anspruch von VierNull entsprechen?
I now manually create a User Story or Feature map by importing many Jira Cards and linking them in Miro. Can you create a feature where I can select 2 Jira projects, which then automatically imports all open (so not closed/done/won’t-do) items, and displays them linked in a User Story or Feature map overview.Parent on top, children below. The oldest one (lowest Jira-number) on top.Orphaned parents (without children) to the left of the main map.Orphaned children (without parent links) to the right of the main map.It would be ideal if it could update automatically, but that could be done in a next release.
