Please implement this feature, since we need to share maps of products and their features without granting overly-broad access permissions.

This is really not a feature but a bug that needs to be fixed asap.  Who, in their right mind, would think that viewing or commenting on content placed on an interactive canvas would require edit access rights.  Interacting with dynamic content is not editing content.   Common people.  This is UX 101.
