after creating wireframes using wireframe library which is amazing tool, I want to make interactive prototype instead of drawing arrows and scroll to match just to explain the screens flow
Hi! I’ve notice that currently Miro API allows to upload images only in some formats like jpeg, svg, png. It will be nice to have the ability to add e.g BMP or different formats that Miro supports on webUI and mention below :)
Hello I’ve noticed that it is possible to add on board only frames of format “custom”, It will be nice to have a possibility to add different formats like “desktop” or “tablet” Below is a response body that I receive```{ "type" : "error", "code" : "2.0703", "context" : { "fields" : [ { "field" : "data.format", "message" : "Unexpected value [desktop], expected one of: [custom]" } ] }, "message" : "Invalid parameters", "status" : 400}```
It would be very useful to have an additional decision shape option in flowcharts — specifically, a rectangular shape with pointed ends, similar to what PlantUML offers. This format allows for a more compact layout and helps save significant space in dense diagrams.Having this alternative alongside the current diamond shape would improve clarity and flexibility when designing complex flows.Plantuml example: miro example (it takes a lot of space on the flowchart...):
Hi Miro! Many of us use WhatsApp. I spontaneously use that app to share something interesting with my friends. I also want that spontaneity with boards from Miro. So when can we invite friends via WhatsApp? I'm for it!Bye, Ben
It seems as if Miro is unable to support adding custom fields, or at least some custom fields such as the Tempo Planner “Team” field. This is a problem since we require some custom fields to be filled in when creating issues in Jira, especially the organizing Team field.Since Miro is unable to populate this field it’s impossible to turn Miro Cards into Jira Cards.
It would be very useful to have the ability to restrict the view of specific Frames to certain users. This would increase flexibility and security when working on collaborative projects, allowing sensitive information to be accessible only to those who really need to see it. This feature could be implemented as an additional option in each Frame's settings, where the board creator could select which users have permission to view and edit the content.Benefits:Greater control over the distribution of sensitive information. Improved organization and management of complex projects. Increased security and privacy within collaborative boards.
The Jira integration is great and very valuable and one of the factors we used in deciding on our tools. One thing that is strangely missing is Story Points for Jira stories. We like use the miro board for story creating and refinement. Then we take it to the next level and size. Once sized we currently need to link to the item directly to enter the size. This takes us out of Miro and if we have that we may just switch to one of the online planning poker tools and work in Jira. Would really like this one field and it would take the integration from 4 to 5 stars!
I would like to ability for cards or stickies to calculate load during Program Increment planning. Would it be possible to assign them a tag number and if put in a given sprint, it calculates the load for that sprint? Otherwise we have to manually calculate the load as we are moving stories around - which is not ideal.
By working in SCRUM (or PI planning), during the planning, it is necassery to make a sum of story points in order to see if the cap fit with the sprint The idea will beBy selecting a set of jira cards, it should be possible to see the sum of story points
When you import from Azure Dev Ops, the Azure Cards import does not bring over the story points!! Creates a headache having to go re-enter all of that information.

We use Miro as a Mapping tool and part of that flow that is lacking is the ability to create an asset library with assets that get updated externally (usually) or internally, and have other separate boards use those assets as instances of the original content in the library.Currently creating templates partially works…. but requires the user to re-add the asset to the board, which creates additional challenges when the original placement accuracy is a high priority:Proposal:Add a “Create Library Asset”. This differs from the “Create Template Asset” because the instance asset would update anytime the asset changes (in real time hopefully or maybe there is a refresh button that could do it. Create groups within it and make each group have a unique share status (private or shared and which project it’s shared too). Be able to lock or unlock a library asset, and making sure anyone can request edit access to the creator of the asset. Transfer ownership of asset to someone else. Making sure that if the owner is removed from the project that the ownership becomes public, to prevent assets being locked out if someone is removed before ownership is manually given away. On instances of that Library Asset, the user can refresh the asset so that it’s updated manually or upon opening the project a new will also refresh it. [Stretch Goal] Add copy and paste functionality to both the asset and or the group within the library. [Stretch Goal] Add a favorites to particular assets or groups
Good evening. I teach online math classes on your service. The students are constantly monitoring my cursor movements. But to change the color or turn on the highlighter, I need to move the cursor to the left side of the screen and manually change the marker color in the toolbar. It distracts students. Could you add keyboard shortcuts for: 1) Highlighter. 2) Color changes. (for example: shift or ctrl + 1)
Currently on Sprint boards are useable with the Estimation app. For the Miro/Jira integration to be utilized by more teams, it would be helpful for Kanban boards to also function. Kanban teams also use Fibonacci points/TShirt sizes, so it doesn't make sense why it would be turned off.
I'd like to insert Miro process flows into Visio, however when I insert it as a PDF object it's blurry. Also, this would work when inserting process flows from other platforms to create a progression flow. When are you planning to have this feature available? Thanks.
My department (Legal) is in charge of the building-wide seating/cubicle chart. This chart is a very controversial topic, as each department is very protective of who gets more cubicles, whose department has to be split onto multiple floors, etc. I would like to upload the blank seating chart into Miro so that the names on each of the cubicles and offices can be freely moved around by our CLO to decide who is sitting where, which departments have how many cubicles, etc. The main issue is that my boss would like to be able to write each person's "Job Grade" next to their name. Each person's job grade is strictly confidential, as it relates directly to their pay. My ideas: Create a layer that only he is able to see or even know that it exists. This layer wouldn't be hidden or unhidden, as it only belongs to and is accessible to him. This doesn't seem to be an option. If there is an option to create a sticky/text box that is "only visible" to selected people, that would be most ideal. So that he doesn't have to hide or unhide anything. It's just visible to him and no one else by virtue of him being logged into his own account. Create a layer that is "hidden", but he would be the only person who has access to unhide this layer (or even see that it exists). I am nervous that when he enters the board and unhides the hidden layer, other people that are currently on the live board would be able to see the layer that he just unhid in that moment. Even if no one were on the board at that time, he would still have to remember to re-hide the layer after he was done. Are we able to kick people off the live board in that moment? I'd rather not have to do this since it would create a negative atmosphere around the usefulness live board if someone got kicked out. Or even able to open it "as a draft" while other people are in it that can't see the live edits? I'd rather not have to do this since my boss would have to be able to open it as a draft, unhide the layer, re-hide the layer, and not save the draft. This is difficult to explain. My other notes (Not applicable to the puzzle, this is just so I have all of my thoughts in one place): One very small team of editors, another link for the entire company to just view It would be great if people could request to be moved (which would show the requestor, the employee being moved if different, their original location, and the requested location). And have it be "approved" by my boss. Some of the other layers could be "zones": Emergency drill groups Department's locations Link to the live board on our page on the company-wide Sharepoint. Anyone can access Can figure out where someone sits Searchable Thanks! - GB
