the feedback is collected in Qualtrics, and we have the need to analyse it and act on it. Frequently we have to create boards of the information we gather from Qualtrics to collaborate with a team on improving the experience. If both apps were integrated we would set up the journey stages and “automatically” get the emotions, verbatims, in a customer journey map that we would check periodically.
As a Product Manager, we are looking to create larger diagrams about systems, technical infrastructure, user flows etc.. There are two main challenges:Adding / removing nodes in a diagram possibly requires a lot of manual moving around and re-layouting to make the diagram layout look nice again. Ideally, we would like to have a single high-level diagram that can be broken down into lower-level diagrams using layers. BUT when hiding a bunch of layers, all nodes are suddenly dispersed across a huge canvas.Solution: Auto-layouting functionalities - at least via button-click or after editing - for the “diagrams” Miro type. Using auto-layout, I can make sure that diagrams always look nice even after making a change to it, or even when filtering out some layers.Bonus points if I don’t need to any click “auto-layout” when toggling layers on/off.
It would be great to have an extended Jira integration, such as selecting some stickies to turn them into subtasks under an existing Jira issue such as task/story. Right now integration only supports creating main issues, not subissues.
Please can we have a way to incorporate a board from Monday.com into Miro that can be updated directly from Miro
When I paste URLs, Miro tries to fetch metadata and an image from the page to display a preview. If it fails, the link appears as plain hyperlink text. I’d like to have the option to manually provide the preview data in such cases.I assume that some websites are not accessible from Miro’s servers (e.g., Allegro.pl), which prevents previews from appearing on a board. In these cases, I’d like Miro to use my local browser (which can access the site) to fetch the metadata. One way to achieve this could be through a Miro browser extension that, among other features, fetches preview data on my behalf.Alternatively, when using the desktop version, Miro could use an embedded browser (headless, without a window) to fetch preview data directly from my machine.I’m open to install something additional to solve this problem—it's really frustrating not to have previews for certain links.
I often start Miro boards in a team accessible to a small number of people while it’s in draft stage, and then move it to a new team when I’m ready to share the board broadly.Moving a board to a new team currently requires:Navigating to the move to team dialog Selecting the new team Waiting for Miro to process the move and reload the board Navigating to the move to space dialog Selecting the new space Waiting for Miro to process the new spaceWould be great to be able to do both of these from the same dialog. Something like this:Navigate to the move team/space dialog that combines the “team” and “space” dropdowns showing the current team and current space (if any). (optional) User chooses new team (optional) User chooses new space (dropdown updates to show spaces available in new team) Close dialog, Miro does its magic
Feature Request:It would be really helpful to have a way to create a consolidated, high-level roadmap view that rolls up multiple team-level timelines.Use case:In our department, we have several product teams, each managing their own roadmap in Miro. We’d like to generate a department-wide roadmap that automatically reflects updates from the individual team roadmaps—essentially, a synced, aggregated view to aid with cross-team planning and visibility.
I connect different areas of large miro boards by using links. It would be great to, after having clicked on a link and getting transported to that area of a miro board, to have a one-click way to return or go back to where you came from in the board. P.S. I saw this related question thread (https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/is-it-possible-to-return-after-following-the-link-1876) but I couldn’t find the corresponding Wishlist idea/item, so I thought I would create one. Hopefully, I am not creating a duplicate wishlist idea/item.
I am loving Formats and their Focus mode. However, with focus Mode for Docs, I am finding the large whitespace to be disconcerting. My brain wants to see some sort of border (like with Slides):
Does miro offer a text to speech option/plugin for visually impaired members of the team?
Line formatting seems relatively limited compared to other shape formatting. It would be great if lines could have an opacity option, as well as being able to control spacing of dotted/dashed lines.
It would be immensely helpful to include additional formatting capabilities within Grid, including:Ability to change the color / weight of gridlines, including removing them all together. This has resulted in quite a bit of re-work for the team Ability to indent in text within a grid lineWithin tools like PPT, the table function allows you to input text in an organized format, and would be great if Miro could do the same
This idea is specifically emerging from the tight left-or-right justification on text inside a shape. I often want to introduce a few spaces, give the text some breathing room, but that manual formatting becomes tedious to add to every shape instance. It also removes the speed of quickly replacing text, having to add the spaces every time. This issue is amplified when the stroke becomes larger, as the stroke stacks towards the interior. Please see the gif below for reference.Justification Offsets would be one way to solve for this. It would be great if this kind of formatting could feed in to a larger Style management system (building off the current Copy Style / Paste Style commands). Thanks!
We would like to use the function of our own icons in conjunction with our brand colours. For the basic shapes, there is the option to select the colours from the brand centre. If we go via Diagrams and ‘Upload my shapes’, we have provided them as SVG. The shapes cannot be automatically coloured with the brand centre colours. It would be great if we could provide our own icons so that we can automatically colour them as required.
I couldn’t find an existing wish list idea on this front (and, uh, I kind of wrote a lot). If one / many of these already exist, please link to consolidate upvotes :)I had some observations surface around the management of Styles, Brand Center and Color that I wanted to share. I might have posted the thoughts elsewhere in the Community, but not as Wish List items:BRANDS + BRAND CENTERMultiple custom-named Brands comprised of Color and Style selections. Could feature an on/off selection for Font (if defined) after selecting the Brand Sync of Brands with CC Libraries from Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically focusing on Swatches and color naming conventions (Primaries, Accents, Overflows) At the Admin level, real-time addition or removal of Primary, Accents and Overflow through the board rather than through the dedicated Brand Center The ability to collapse custom-named Brands when selecting colors The ability to group Brands for collapse and filtration when selecting colorsCOLORSThe ability to “Removal All” non-default swatches from the “All Colors” section The ability to right-click-copy the hex code from a given color for reference in another environmentSTYLED OBJECTS, TEMPLATES and MASTER FRAMESThe ability to define a Default Brand Style across all Team or Organization accounts (I kind of forget the taxonomy here) The ability to define styles on objects, comprised of: Fill Color Fill Opacity Stroke Color Stroke Type Stroke Thickness The ability to locate and scale these objects relative to the aspect ratio of a frame (height and width) The ability to load Brand Styles into Styles Objects After loading Style Objects into a Frame and creating a Template, the ability to update all default-state Style Objects / Templates. The default-state part is to ensure that anyone who edits their Style Object, either via Brand Style or just by changing the parameters, keeps the changes they made. Kind of like a Master Page and inheritance in InDesign. This turned out to be a lot! Fun to compile.
I love Miro so far but we are using Aha! (https://aha.io) to order our product vision, goals and features. Is there any plans to integrate with Aha! ? It’s pretty well-known in the product community.
Similar to the Column headers of the Miro Kanban, I am finding nearly daily that it would be helpful if Miro Docs and Table names would be stickyNOTE: The title should also be sticky when in Focus mode.E.g., like the Kanban object:
