    In many other applications, especially note taking applications, the S Pen button can be held down to change the tool, often to an eraser tool. It would be cool if support for the button could be added such that we can map some function to it(or just have it swap between the current tool and the eraser).

    Option to add an image as the frame background.Open

    The only thing I wish Miro had is the option to add an image as the frame background. There is an option to change the color and also the option to change the frame style, but there is no option to add an image as a background, which makes it very difficult to add an image as a watermark. I have to do it manually, upload the image, adjust it to the size of the frame, place it on the right layer and then leave it in the background, without hiding the texts or shapes for example. It is a lot of work, because I have a lot of texts, objects and images in each frame, so when I select everything and click to change to a specific layer, they do not change, so I have to change by group, and then upload the image and add it to the background, which is very frustrating and tiring. Please add the option to add an image directly as the frame background, it is already possible to change the background color and style, but it is not possible to add an image as a background. I have to do this manually and it is very laborious.

    Actually it would be great to have the possibility to “explode/implode” each level with a “+” button (if you have a lower level underneath a person) so to have not enormous organizational chart when comes to a complex one

    Feature Request: An Anonymous Mode Where Content is Visible in Real-TimeOpen

    Requested Feature We would like to propose a new type of anonymous mode with the following characteristics: Author Anonymity: It is not possible to identify who is writing a particular sticky note. Real-Time Visibility: The content written on sticky notes is displayed in real-time and is visible to everyone on the board. Permanent Anonymity: The identity of the author remains unknown even after the anonymous mode is turned off.  Reasoning To foster better collaboration, there is a need for a feature that allows users to add reactions and opinions anonymously, which can liven up the discussion.The current "Private Mode" is not suitable for this style of collaboration. In Private Mode, all content remains hidden until the mode is deactivated. This prevents the kind of dynamic, real-time collaboration we are hoping to achieve, where participants can build upon each other's anonymous contributions as they appear.We believe that a collaborative environment where many people can anonymously write and see each other's ideas in real-time would stimulate a more active exchange of opinions than a time-based event where all content is revealed at once.We kindly ask you to consider the implementation of this feature.

    Allow users to select which Smart Table fields are displayed on cardsOpen

    I would love to see a feature that allows users to customize which fields from a Smart Table are shown on a card when converting a row into a card on the board.Right now, Miro decides automatically which fields to display (like status or assignee), and there’s no way to control or reduce what's visible. This can lead to cluttered or inconsistent cards – especially when managing projects with many fields.Why this matters: Keeps cards clean and focused Improves visibility and reduces noise Helps tailor cards for different use cases (e.g. project tracking, meeting prep, editorial planning) Suggested improvements: Add a "Show on card" / "Hide from card" toggle in the column settings Allow setting a custom title field for the card Let users define a card layout template per Smart Table

    Auto-Resize Frames optionOpen

    For presentation and navigation purposes, I use frames around Kanban boards and TablesThe challenge with this approach is that as these frameworks grow – columns and rows for both Kanban and Tables – I am constantly having to resize the frames.For the use case I have outlined, I would only expect frames to auto-expand based upon a growing Kanban or Table (or User Story Map), however, I could see the value in the frame auto-resizing to fit the size of the object(s) in it. Therefore, this should be a togglable option.Added benefits of having Kanban or User Story Maps in a frame are that these frameworks inherit the background colour of the frame.

    Add the ability to customise the background with a greyscale watermarkOpen

    This is to protect content being shared with partners and more widely in general, also to be supported within the export functionality.Even at a basic level I’d be happy with the current grey background and company logo in white replicated across the background.

    Image size - ability to add a width and/or heightOpen

    Using for UI screen maps, and being a bit of a closet perfectionist, I’d love the ability to add a width and/or height. When quickly throwing screens on there it’s great, but if I’m cropping and resizing I’m doing it all by eye...and I’m just not that good without my numbers!

    It would be great to add tables for simple calculations. We do not need a complete excel, but to be able to have tables that allow adding, subtracting, multiplying ... It would greatly expand the application possibilities!

    Can insert links within a card.Use case: Creating customer journey/service blueprints and want to house more details about a touchpoint within a card. Ideally could link to another Miro element/frame from the relevant detail in a card. E.g. A particular pain point for that touchpoint and what the subsequent steps are. This saves crowding that particular journey as can link out to another journey from within the touchpoint (card).

    Ability to group objects and lock objects inside tablesOpen

    I often do dot voting for my workshops that I run and we often want to move sticky notes with the dots on top. I use tables to organize the workshopping content and can’t group anything within the tables. This means that my participants need to awkwardly try to select content together and can’t group them within the table. The other problem is the inability to lock objects in the table which means that participants can accidentally move content around. These two problems mixed together have proven to be troublesome.I love Miro and all of it’s features but as a neat freak who loves using tables I would greatly appreciate the ability to lock and group objects while they are inside tables.

    [ Integration ] Export as dynamic image linkOpen

    This feature request aims to achieve better integration abilities. There is an already existing feature called embed, allowing to embed miro editable boards or frames into a third party tool. However, this features fails to answer a very important use case.In order for miro boards to be easily usable within information tools such as notion, jira, gitlab, you name it, we should be able to embed an directly.The image export feature could back us up, but as it exports a static image, it does not meet the reality of project management, where we constantly adjust our architectures / mind maps / release plans / strategies…What would be a good feature would be to export a frame to dynamic image link.We would obtain an url, which when accessed would display an image of the latest state of the frame.This way, we could integrate miro within our information systems.A neat addition is to be able to detect when the image is open in a new tab and then to redirect to the editor to the corresponding frame, but that’s just sugar.Thanks :)

    Export to PDF with CommentsOpen

    Two questions as follows:  How can I export comments How can I print comments in context   Ideally, i’d like to export a PDF with the comments opened on the screen - that would be useful for printing and sharing.   I have a shared workspace that has a bunch of comments on it. I’d like those comments to be expanded onto the screen and exported in a format that can be printed.  Alternatively, I’d like to export the comments into a word doc or a google sheet. In the above screenshot there are two comments. When I export this to a best quality PDF, it looks like this   As you can see - the comments have disappeared.

    The ability to have a bullet point list in mind maps, pretty simple. Maybe a numbers option and a simple bullet point option.  This would also require a way of making new paragraphs inside a branch of a mind map too.

    Have Color for timeline bar be an option in the side panelOpen

    I’ve just started working with Tables and Timelines. As I’m adding tasks for different departments, I can add a field/column with that list to chose from which provides a quick colored reference and supports grouping.However, when I switch to Timeline view any visual color indicator is lost. It would be great if we could assign the color for the timeline bars in the side panel for the line item regardless of table or timeline view.Bonus points for being able to tie the timeline bar color to one of the field values to make sure color selection is consistent between views.

    Allow sticky stacks (or any frame, object) to follow your cursor around the boardOpen

    I often create a frame with a bunch of stickies that I use on my boards, like this: But when I am working on large flows, I need to keep moving this frame around or zoom in/out to access it. It would be great if you could select one frame or object that follows you as you move your board (based on cursor positioning, could have customization options) so that something you want accessible all the time remains in view.

    Option for directly using Scroll wheel for zoom. Instead of ctrl.Open

    I am a long time SolidWorks user and felt that the way you use the scroll wheel in that is very intuitive and would be an awesome feature to add to a Miro board. Basically, scrolling using the mouse wheel will zoom in/out on the area that the cursor is on. Instead of having to use the ctrl key all the time, there should be a toggle to use whichever option the user prefers.

    Setting to disable scaling banners/buttons/labels (Disable scaling and/or disable entirely)Open

    Things like Frame/Table titles, the new iFrame features, timelines, etc all have this annoying scaling name or button attached to them that scales up as I zoom out on my board. For things like frames I normally just made the name empty to hide this effect, but these scaling buttons on some things like timelines or the new iFrames are unable to be removed. I find this annoying for a few reasons:I zoom out to get an overview of my board and everything on it. The scaling items cover up a lot of other items and reduce board visibility. It’s distracting, it’s something moving/changing size on my screen, which is really distracting to me. It feels like it’s yelling: “Hey!! Did you know there is a Timeline here?!!!” But I already know there is a timeline there, why does it need to stand out? It’s so big and covering up other items and I know where things are on my board, I don’t need to be reminded. The new iFrame feature adds these new kinds of scaling buttons to links I paste onto the board. When I’m researching something, I normally paste everything I find onto the board in case I need to reference it later. I don’t need 50+ buttons scaling out really large, showing there are some YouTube video’s there. I really prefer those ‘old’ cards that just showed the thumbnail and title, without that extra large button covering up the other videos. Some solutions I think would work best:Add a setting to enable/disable scaling. This would toggle scaling on everything, from table titles to iFrames and focus mode buttons. Add a setting to enable/disable the whole banner with name & focus mode button. I never use focus mode, so I don’t want it covering up a large part of my screen. Add a setting, so the user can choose between iFrames and the ‘old’ frame for things like YouTube videos. A board default should be able to be set, there should also be an option per item/card. Related to the previous points, be able to hide the focus mode button on specific items. Maybe someone does want it on one, but not the other. Thanks for reading all my point, I hope a good solution will be used to solve this problem.
