The current polling tool in Miro is quite limited and feels rigid. One particular issue: only participants who voted can end a poll. As the creator, it would be much more practical to close or end a poll regardless of whether you have participated in it yourself.

Why this matters:

  • Facilitators and moderators often don’t want to influence results by voting.

  • Not being able to end a poll without voting interrupts the flow of a workshop.

  • More control and flexibility makes polls easier to manage.

Suggested improvements:

  • Allow poll creators to end polls without needing to cast a vote.

  • Consider expanding the overall flexibility of the poll tool (e.g., more response options, better controls).
