    Audio upload optionOpen

    More than a question, this is a suggestion. Please add the option to upload and record audio files directly on Miro boards! Thousands of teachers struggle to use Miro effectively because of this limitation. We are forced to rely on platforms like SoundCloud or cloud services, uploading and naming tracks manually and then attaching them to the board — which turns into a messy and tedious process.There should be a built-in option to use audio directly on the board.

    Allow Adobe Creative Cloud to Login with Business AccountsOpen

    Hello!We’re unable to link our Adobe Creative Cloud accounts to our Miro boards. When attempting to login to Adobe CC, we receive an error message stating that this service is not allowed for companies or schools. This integration is on our allowlist in the admin settings. We’d like to request that this integration be allowed for businesses and schools. Thanks!

    It would be great to add a link to a Jira Dashboard Gadget into Miro and it would directly show the Gadget. At the moment I have to copy a Screenshot of the Gadget and have to update it manually. Cheers,Martin

    EASILY open/ close the NOTES App tab (shortcut ) and customizabile shortcutsOpen

    while working . would like the ability to open close the notes app on the right hand side .without having to hover over to the ‘Notes’ icon . having a  key shortcut . would be ideal just as you have shortcuts for , ‘text ‘t and ‘sticky notes ‘n  BEING ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE shortcut keys would be AMAZING !! 🤩 ( no shortcut key  :/  so have to hover each time to open the panel below )

    Enable objects on "Flip Card" featureOpen

    I am unable to use "Flip Card" feature using objects (E.g. Sticky notes). Could you kindly update this feature?Currently, in case there is an object placed on one side of the card (e.g. Sticky note or Circle), the same thing appears again on the other side of the card when flippedThis will help us in using interactive activities on one side (such as asking participants to drag/drop sticky notes) before revealing the actual answer/image by flipping the coin.

    Please stop automatically adding “Copy of” every time a Frame is duplicated!This defeats the purpose of copying a Frame as you have to go in and delete the added content!

    Snap arrow heads to bullet pointOpen

    If the same functionality for snapping lines/arrow-heads to certain elements of text, such as a bullet point, akin to how this functionality is applied to lines connecting post-it notes. It would mean when lists of text move and change size, the line/arrow still points to a specific ‘line entry of text’ within the list i.e. text usually shifts up and down and because the line/arrow is only connected to the text box it doesn’t naturally track the position of the text within the text box. If e.g. the bullet point was able to be used as a snap feature for lines/arrows within a text box, it would mean the lines/arrows would maintain their relative position when text is changed within the text box.

    Things power users have expressed needs in:  A Product Owner mentioned Miro improvements like Gantt charts, dependencies, baselines, and swimlane templates.Another Product Manager, mentioned that he would like to see better structuring of boards within spaces, similar to how Confluence allows for ordering pages into folders.

    Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to copy and paste from Miro into Adobe Illustrator? I would love to have this feature if this is not something that is possible.  I know it works the other way around but not vice versa.

    Toggle hide context barOpen

    When working quickly in Miro moving content around the context bar is constantly popping up and  often covers objects. It’s quite frustrating and honestly a bit obnoxious!Whilst it can be hidden by pressing shift this doesn’t help when arranging content as its momentary and doesn't work when selecting/ deselecting. Can we get a shortcut button that’s a toggle for this. Or the option to remap the shift button to be a toggle?

    Please please please bring back the ability to add a border to text boxes. Adding text within a shape does not allow for the kinds of formatting needed in text blocks. Please bring this back!

    Share content between Miro boards / Board within boardDelivered

    We have some kind of hierarchical board structure, with team boards and product/program boards. For some items it would be extremely handy to have some information on a board mirrored into another board, usually for information and context but sometimes for collaborating Using a single board where everyone is piling in all the information is not practical and becomes confusing pretty soon. What I’m looking is a kind of “wormhole frame” that is part of two or more boards and ideally can be edited on all boards it is in. A good half-way would be the frame updated live but only editable in the original board, with a the wormhole frame on the secondary boards simply showing its contents live. Is this already possible in any way? Cheers, Carlo

    Visually control Jira Card dependency links on MiroOpen

    Hi Miro Team,When using Miro combined with Jira and showing the dependencies between the cards, I wish :to be able to show the dependency lines at all time (not only when show dependencies is activated)   to be able to manipulate the visual link at the user’s convenience(currently, the source of the relationship is always at the bottom of the card, and the impact is shown at the left of the Jira card. The line linking the 2 cards cannot be manipulated, making it impossible for an user to arrange them to make it more clear)If we could have the same type of control that we have for the arrows, it would be a game changer. I praise the aesthetic of Miro that allows to make things simple and easy to understand.  I try to convert my colleagues to use it, but when I showed them the following result… they have decided to go with another application and it gave them a mixed feeling of Miro.  See my screenshot below.Thanks!

    Add controls to enable or disable diagram and slides features on a company levelOpen

    The diagram and slides features have appeared and are causing some issues with events we are running on our boards, can these features be turned off by board or at Enterprise level for our account? We are struggling to remove or revert back when users inadvertently create these and it's causing problems where we have 50+ users interacting on the same board.In the meantime, when possible, please remove our company from public beta to temporarily turn off the feature until this feature request has been completed.Thank you

    I enjoy using Miro products especially the context diagrams, functional diagrams, cross-functional diagrams and flowcharts. My experience would be even better if you could include legends. Example, I will create a flowchart, I will put it in the frame and underneath the flowchart and within the frame I would like to see the legend of the flowchart.

    Drag sub-tree along with bullet or heading in Doc object.Open

    When I drag a line (block?) up and down in Miro’s document object on the canvas, is there a way to have the sub-tree came with it? This would enable rapid restructuring of list chunks and document sections.If dragging a heading, this would take all the content below it (until the next heading of the same level) along with it.If dragging a list/bullet/checklist item, it would take all the lines below it along that are more indented.There are already drag handles for text lines on the tool but they only manipulate the adjacent line. I’ve found this kind of structure-aware sub-tree manipulation very powerful in other software I use like emacs org-mode and LibreOffice. This kind of structure abstraction might be overkill, however, given the doc tool seems to be designed for relatively limited text length. With the wide doc margins, there seems to be space to have two manipulation handles at the end of the line which would maintain discoverability: one for dragging the line/opening the menu and one for dragging the subtree. Placing these handles on either side (left/right) would also eliminate chances of dragging the wrong handle if putting them together causes too many input errors.

    Searching again should replace previous textOpen

    I was using the search to find some post-its (command+f) and since I wanted to search for a new post-its after finding the first one, I noticed that as I was typing my new text it was placed behind my previous search text… Which was very annoying when I just wanted it to replace the old search and help me quickly find my next post-it.So instead of “Question here” it became “Last questionQuestion here” and I had to delete the text and start over. It’s a small thing but it would save users some time and reduce frustration.

    Reorder Kanban Card FieldsOpen

    I am using the new Kanban feature (still in beta) to track work across a UX Research team. Adding columns in the table view makes those columns available as a card field when in Kanban view, which is great. However, reordering the columns in table view does not impact the order of the fields on the card. I would like to be able to reorder the card fields in a way that is logical for understanding the work item. (photo below shows and example how I would like to move the fields around to put them in a specific order). This would be beneficial because the Kanban card has certain fields I need researchers to fill out when they create a new item, so they should be at the top, while other fields may not be relevant until later on in the work (such as adding notes and attachments for completed presentations).

    Warning before accidentally Bold-ing the whole boardOpen

    Hey Community and Miro team!I have a habit of using the keyboard shortcuts Cmd+A (Select All), followed by Cmd+B (Bold) when dealing with post-its or text boxes in Miro. It helps me save time because I do not need to navigate my cursor to the formatting toolbar every time I want a simple formatting. I can add emphasis or create hierarchy with the almighty bold formatting.The problem is, I sometimes accidentally press Cmd+A and end up selecting ALL items on the board, followed in quick succession by a Cmd+B (thanks, muscle memory), which ends up bolding EVERYTHING. This has happened to be me a couple times, and it’s always frustrating when it does, because one, the whole board freezes as it tries to format ALL the text, and two, sometimes I can’t Ctrl+Z (Undo) it, for reasons unknown to me (the button is greyed out), which leads me to then wasting about 5 minutes locating all the places that I had bolded some text for emphasis but is now just completed bolded.This leads me to my wish list: I would like a simple warning or alert notification when Miro senses that all objects have been selected, with the user indicating that they want some kind of formatting applied. This could apply to Bold, Underline, Italic, Strikethrough, or other formatting. It’s usually pretty rare that someone would want to format the ENTIRE board’s contents in the same way, so a warning modal (or something similar) to add a bit of friction should not create any negative effects on the rest of the user experience.Thanks in advance, and wanted to wrap this up by saying I love the product, keep it up!

    Make it harder to edit frame titleOpen

    Hey,  i often use frames to structure topics and working inside them. Often, the frame is selected and the title is altered to some rubbish like  “nnn” as I try to create a new sticky with a hotkey. This is even the case, when the frame ist locked. I would like to see a way to avoid this e.g. by adding some action to the menu of the frame to rename it.

    Miro tabs have a huge room for improvement! Here is a great place to start:Remove the extra text such as “ - Miro” at the end of every tab. Allow colored tabs customization Grouped tabs (too good to be true)This would truly help.

    Improved .yaml color coding on Code BlockOpen

    I’m enjoying the new Miro code block option! It’s definitely a visual improvement over my current solution, which is a Text object plus this code highlighter plugin: https://github.com/GreenAsh/code-highlighter My main issue with the code block is that it doesn’t seem to do color highlighting as well, or at least not for the code snippets I’m testing it on. Here’s a side-by-side of the same text using the code highlighter plugin and the Miro code block. In both cases I’ve set them to “JavaScript”, while the actual script is .yaml. So it may just be that I’d need .yaml added to the language list and then my configs would get color-coded properly. Although I’m not sure why it works better in the plugin when set to JavaScript.  GreenAsh code highlighter vs. Miro code block
