    Copy/Paste from iPad clipboardOpen

    Currently I cannot seem to copy/paste from anywhere on the iPad, such as if I have clipped a screenshot on another app and I want to bring it into Miro. I can only copy/paste within Miro itself. This is specific to the iPad. It works perfectly well on other devices such as the MBP.Currently am not using Miro on my iPad because of this function.Thanks

    Hi Miro,I would like to know if adding a global read feature is available since we all share the responsibility of reading the messages and if there is a way to turn on this read feature when a team member reads the message it would help reduce duplicative work checking for new comments. Not sure if something like this can be available as an option in each person’s settings so that it will not affect others. Thanks.

    Disable automatic renaming of framesOpen

    When a frame is selected, typing anything (such as keyboard shortcut t for text) will rename the frame. This is super annoying for me as I use the keyboard shortcuts quite often and if you click anywhere in a frame you select it.This leads to the situation I have quite often. I want to add a text inside a frame. I press t. Nothing happens. I realize that I have just renamed the frame by accident. I undo.  It would be great if there would be a small pencil button next to the name, that enables the renaming.

    TABLES: Allow URL's to be colour codedOpen

    Within a table you can specify a column to be a URL (and then optionally specify to allow multiple URL’s).  At the moment when a URL is added, it’s shown with a grey background.It would be useful (at least to me) to have the ability for each URL to have a configurable colour.For context, I’m using a table to perform an audit of what documents exist for particular products.  The various columns in the table represent the different types of documents eg. User Manual, Assembly Manual, Bill of Materials etc.If the document exists and has been approved, I’ll set the colour of the URL to be green. If the document exists and has not yet been approved, I’ll set the colour of the URL to be orange. If the document doesn’t exist, I’ll add a link to a task and set the colour to be red.Ideally I’d be doing all of this in a Document Management System, but it seemed like a good idea at the time to use a table in miro (or a spreadsheet).

    Allow using Azure Cards in Table/Timeline/Kanban.Include ‘Start Date’ and ‘Target Date’ - the standard Portfolio level fields used for Epic/Feature and used in Azure DevOps Delivery Plans tool Example use case: Having the ability to use Azure cards across these Miro tools, would allow us to eg. display Roadmaps of Epics to give context to a PI session where Planner (Program Board) is used for planning Features across teams and iterations.

    Smooth hand drawn lines in a vector export.Open

    Hand drawn lines are wobbly when exported to a vector format(pdf or svg), irrespective of whether a frame is used or not, but interestingly the “wobbliness” of the line is dependent on the zoom level at which the line was drawn. In the examples below, the 4 lines are, from top to bottom:Line created with the line tool Line drawn at 400% zoom Line drawn at 100% zoom Line drawn at 33% zoom  Miro board at max zoom (400%)  As can be seen on the board all lines appear quite smooth. Exported PDF SVG export On the other hand, the exported vector images have the lines more and more wobbly as the zoom level at which they were drawn decreases.The exports were conducted at 400% zoom level, so all the lines were clearly visible, and smooth on the miro board prior to the export.  This is a real bummer, since i am using hand drawings a lot in my boards and not only does this mean i basically am unable to export my boards at a satisfactory quality, but also since i use hand writing quite extensively and thus the boards tend to get performace issues after some time (reasonably so if a board has 20k+ elements easily, i need to export parts of it, and place it back as an image), and right now the result is messy lines everywhere, which is far from ideal. Frame exported to high quality pdfThe only option left is a high quality pdf, but since it’s not a vector format it’s not ideal either.

    Lasso Tool ShortcutOpen

    A shortcut for the lasso tool would be very useful. When moving specific objects within a group of many objects, the standard selection tool doesn't allow partial selection. While holding down the selection tool can serve as an alternative, it's somewhat time-consuming and frustrating. We kindly request your consideration of this feature.

    Collapsable Frames?Open

    Miro Team,First and foremost, thank you for such a great product! Miro has become invaluable to day-to-day work with this crazy pandemic going on.I have a feature request that has been communicated by a lot of folks within VMware. Would it be possible to introduce collapsible Frames? A lot of us primarily are using Miro for doing remote workshops with customers. Conducting remote workshops involves a ton of content that we must cover. So, sometimes we have around 80+ frames. If we could group these frames by topic, it would be more comfortable and less scrolling to find the right frames/topic that we need to cover with the customer. Setting up LINKs is a temp option, but our workshops are typically dynamic and free-flowing, so this means sometimes we are not going from Frame1 > Frame2, sometimes it might be Frame1 > Frame50.Here is a picture of what we are envisioning: Original post:https://community.miro.com/got-a-question-ask-the-community-45/collapsable-frames-2708?postid=11350#post11350

    Copy/Paste locked elementOpen

    I understand that we can lock elements on the board to prevent them from moving/editing. Sometimes I happen to have a locked background shape with unlocked shapes and texts on top of it. When I select this big element of content, copy it and then paste to a new location in the board, only the unlocked elements get pasted. It’d be great to be able to copy everything selected, keeping the locked/unlocked status of the elements.

    Docs page breaksOpen

    Recently started using Miro and I am loving every bit of it. I am a freelance 3D artist and I like how in Miro I can basically use features found in Notion, Milanote and even Google Docs. Very usefl for the admin of my freelance business and projects.However, I think it would be very beneficial to implement a way to see page breaks for documents created in a Miro board. For example, I am creating a quote for a client and I need to save it as a PDF to share with the client, which is fine, but since I can’t see the page breaks when I export I don’t have control over the document making a page break on a paragraph and only one word going into the next page, which doesn’t look great.I’m having to export, evaluate and then add extra spaces or extra blocks to avoid these kind of things, where adding a simple toggle to see page break lines would alleviate this.

    A pen invisible to guestsOpen

    We would like to request the introduction of a pen that is invisible to guests.When conducting lessons using Miro, it would be extremely convenient for teachers to have a way to hide content from students (such as thought processes, calculation steps, or verification checks). This would eliminate the hassle of switching back to physical paper and allowing everything to be completed within Miro. The frame hiding feature comes close to this functionality, but it also hides the content from the editor. We kindly request your consideration of this feature.

    Hi does anyone know if it is possible to move the tool bar/ menu bar to the other side of the screen? I am left handed and it would be much faster with pen in hand if I could move it to the right hand of my screen.

    Export Org Chart out of MiroOpen

    I was able to create an “Org Chart” in Miro by importing a CSV file, thanks to the App “Org chart (BETA)”I want this (Miro) to be the default tool we use to track people, but all other tools we have in the company work based on CSV files.When I try to “Export to CSV(excel)” the Org Chart I get the error:errorI think this is the only feature that is needed to have the perfect tool.Thanks

    Miro Mac OS Tahoe App Icon for Dark ModeOpen

    Hello Miro , I was wondering if it would be possible to redesign the Miro Mac app icon, particularly for Dark Mode. Currently, it appears entirely black, which is disappointing given the beautiful Light Mode icon, and it needs adjustments to improve visual harmony.The Miro Desktop Mac App in the Dock highlighted by a red rectangle in this screenshot

    Increase character limit for text boxesOpen

    I use the text boxes to create outlines of design wireframes for developer reference.In these situations, it is incredibly common that I run into the character limit for the text boxes and have to break my outline into multiple boxes. The whole process becomes much more frustrating and cumbersome from then on out.The imposed character limit seems incredibly arbitrary, pointless, and some of the formatting of outlines seems to eat away at the count even quicker.At the end of the day, when I can easily paste giant image files that will certainly chew up my RAM, why is there such a miniscule text limit? surely it’s not a technical limitation.At least allow for a “long text” box or something that supports big blocks of text. It is necessary for me to use your software effectively, whether your product team believes that method or not you shouldn’t actively prevent me from doing it.

    Expanded support for weblink framesOpen

    Milanote ThumbnailsMiro’s Weblinks / No Thumbnails or DegenerateIn Miro, some weblinks generate a thumbnail when pasted into a Miro board.  This thumbnail generation happens automaticallyThis is a huge timesaver, as I’m collecting references to resources to review and then access via URL later to acquire for our project.  Upon research I found a thread acknowledging this limitation (https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/web-link-thumbnails-inconsistency-23138?postid=81858#post81858) Unfortunately none of the sites I commonly use support Open Graph Protocol. My feature request would be to add a fallback thumbnail generation using a generic heuristic that doesn’t put the onus on a third party to adapt a specific protocol.  Miro is positioned as the centralized service for references so I expect that the service will do the work to process data from a variety of services.

    Move spaces between Teams.Open

    Hello Miro Team,As it stands now, it's not possible to move spaces between teams, it's only possible to move specific boards. If you're always looking for ways to improve, i absolutely believe that my idea concerning moving spaces between teams could become a great addition to Miro!
