    Freeze Panes in the boardOpen

    The possibility to “Freeze Panes” (Excel language) within the board. It could be freezing panes or creating a kind of a popup for a selected area of the board that we can view wherever we are on the board and also select something from that popup, copy it and paste it on the part of the board I’m viewing without the hassle of moving back and forward in the board each time.

    Hi, this is a feature request from one PM to another - I find the user flow to navigate to the home page really annoying. Specifically…. Use case: I often have a miro board open that I’m actively working in, and I want to look at another miro board for reference. I want to be able to easily find the 2nd board that i’m looking for in a new window without navigating away from my 1st board.  Current behavior: when i click the miro icon (top left), it takes me to navigation page, but now i’ve lost the board i was actively working on. What I have to do instead: I have to duplicate the tab first, and then navigate to the 2nd board. Since miro boards take some time to load, it’s an annoying lag This happens to me literally all the time. Maybe I’m not the only one?

    Share frames only with specific people for group work.Open

    It would be great if, in a seminar or virtual classroom, I could restrict access to specific frames for a particular group so that other groups couldn't see them. For example, Group 1 would only see Frame 1, Group 2 would only see Frame 2, and so on. The trainer, coach, or board owner, however, would still be able to see everything.

    Board FlattenOpen

    Since MIRO seems to max out at about 500 individual live objects on a board before it crashes, it would be nice if there was the ability to flatten sections of the board so that it would compress the size of the board. I don’t always need everything on my board to be live and editable - but I want it there to be able to see an entire project or project phase in one place. With the limitations on MIRO board size, I am having to fracture my process up across multiple boards per phase and it’s become a full-time job just managing boards and recalling which board had what content.

    Idea to further enhance the private modeOpen

    Currently we can’t see what others are writing in the sticky notes in the private mode. I want to enhance it by hiding the a whole frame in the private mode. Use case: Sometimes I will do a dot voting in a scale in a frame. As the participants want to do a dot voting, they may get biased with the voting of others as they can already see the dots of others. So it will be really helpful if your private mode hides the changes happening in a frame.

    Allow Multiple Items per row in Timeline (Beta)Open

    I’d like to be able to break down a task item into sub items that display on the same row. For example, if My Task lasts 3 weeks has three sub-tems, each a week long , the bar for my task would show the sub items consecutively instead of requiring a row per item.

    Enhanced Filtering for Timeline ToolOpen

    Problem Statement: Currently, when using the table & timeline tool to manage roadmaps across multiple products, the timeline can become overcrowded when filtering by a single product and grouping by initiatives. Even when focusing on one product, all other initiatives from different products remain visible on the timeline, which can lead to confusion and difficulty in tracking specific initiatives.Proposed Solution: Implement an option to hide initiatives from other products when filtering by a specific product. This feature would allow users to focus solely on the relevant initiatives for the selected product, enhancing clarity and usability.Key Features: Hide Non-Relevant Initiatives: When a user filters by a specific product and groups by initiatives, provide an option to hide all initiatives that do not belong to the selected product. This would declutter the timeline and allow for a more focused view. Explicit Filtering Retained: Ensure that even when hiding non-relevant initiatives, the explicitly filtered initiatives (e.g., the three selected initiatives) remain visible on the timeline. This allows users to track their specific goals without distraction. Benefits:Improved clarity and focus on specific product initiatives. Enhanced user experience by reducing visual clutter. Increased efficiency in managing and tracking product roadmaps.By implementing this feature, users will be able to manage their roadmaps more effectively, leading to better outcomes and streamlined workflows across multiple products.

    Make spaces available to share with a public linkOpen

    Allow us to share Spaces in the same way we share Boards.  Like a filing system, the permission set will cascade down by default, then we can change the “viewing” permissions by Board.  Additionally, let us also be able to ‘show’ and ‘hide’ individual Boards from the public view link for the Space. Would be great, link Discord, to set permissions by roles, then we can simply add people to roles they’ve earned.

    New Diagram Library idea: ArchiMateOpen

    As a new Diagram Library I would love ArchiMate. Oy shouldn't be that hard, as many of the shapes and all of the lines are already there. I personally wouldn't mind and think it might even be wiser if Miro doesn't concern itself with 'validity checking', i. e. which lines go with which shapes. The only thing that you would have to really think about is how to find an intuitive way to handle aggregation/composition, which is what I currently mostly struggle with with my makeshift ArchiMate templates.

    Admin console Teams overviewOpen

    Hello Miro Team,Is it possible to list the boards within the team in the Admin Console within the team overview, in addition to Members, Guests, Settings, etc., so that you have this overview directly in the Admin Console? This would simplify viewing within a Miro team and allow you to take a look which boards these are in detail without having to go through the Miro dashboard. Kind regards,Daniel

    Disable autosnap of lines and arrows to imagesOpen

    I am using Miro in an editing format where it would be helpful to be able to draw on top of images with lines and arrows and NOT have the arrows DEMAND to snap to the edge of the image. Yes - I can cut and paste and work around it, but it would be nice to be able to universally disable this feature on a board. Additionally, it would be REALLY helpful if I could ghost and mirror images.

    It would be really great if I could share parts of a board. maybe put a Giant frame around other frames and only share that frame to certain people. Some people would have full board access but some would only need certain parts. Each frame you could decide if it should be visible to each person or all...

    Universal Process Notation (UPN) template requestOpen

    This is a method of business process diagraming recommended by Salesforce.     Import SVG objects to be editableOpen

    Be able to turn on automatic visually display of JIRA relationships (eg. "blocks", "depends on", etc.) for a board or frameOpen

    Currently when we are doing cross team planning in miro we need to manually add linking lines between jira issues to show relationships because there is not a way to visually show this automatically for a given board or frame within a board.

    Automate Re-Sizing of Sticky Notes to Save Time!Open

    A significant amount of time is spent by my team (and myself) manually resizing sticky notes to achieve consistency. This happens especially during synthesis activities, where we don’t want to infer that one note is more meaningful than the next just because it is bigger.It would be INCREDIBLY valuable to have a feature that allows users to bulk-select sticky notes and automatically resize them to match either the smallest or largest sticky in the selection. This would meaningfully reduce time spent preparing for synthesis and speed up synthesis workflows.

    Hello Miro team!At my company we work in tertials (3 periods of 4-months, not aligned with the yearly calendar) and this cannot be rendered in the timeline feature, unfortunately.At the moment we can only represent quarters or months at the highest level, and the design gets way too messy or long.Would it be possible, in addition to the quick choices of weeks, months, quarters, years, to also add a customisable timeframe?:)

    Horizontal scrolling with Alt+Wheel, vertical scrolling with Shift+WheelExisting Feature (closed)

    Navigation on large boards could be made easier by using Alt+mouse wheel or Shift+mouse wheel to scroll horizontally or vertically, respectively.Currently, the mouse wheel always zooms, regardless of whether Ctrl, Shift or Alt are also pressed.
