    Time Stamp for StickiesOpen

    It would be nice to have a small timestamp for when the sticky was created option in the corner of the note or something along those lines.I am new to Miro, so perhaps there is a feature I am missing - but this would be handy, or a star/priority icon addition of sorts.

    Shared / Referenced Elements Across Multiple BoardsOpen

    Short descriptionIn Miro, users often work with multiple boards that represent different views, levels of detail, or stages of the same topic. Today, identical elements across boards are simple copies. When something changes, every occurrence must be updated manually, which is error-prone and does not scale. Problem The same logical element (e.g. a system, application, role, process, or component) exists in multiple boards as independent copies. Any change (name, description, status, relationships) must be applied manually in every board. Over time, boards drift apart and show inconsistent information. This becomes a serious limitation when working with complex topics or long-running initiatives involving many views.  Idea: Referenced Elements with a Single Source of TruthElements should not only be visual shapes but logical entities with a unique identity that can be referenced across multiple boards.Core concept Each element has a global ID and is managed centrally. Boards contain references to that element, not duplicated copies. Updates to the element can automatically propagate to all references.  Benefits Significantly reduced manual maintenance Consistent information across boards Better scalability for complex work Enables true multi-view modeling without adding unnecessary complexity

    Add custom fields to a cardOpen

    What I'm looking for is to be able to create custom fields for a card, so that whenever a user starts using that card they are reminded to fill out a few specifics. Right now the fields on a card are title, description, due date and assignee. I would like to use a card to for example create milestone templates for a planning board. As such I’d like to add things like ‘Goal’, ‘Measure’, ‘Dependencies’, etc. as fields that can be filled out on a card.Currently the only way I know to do this is either a grouped template with text fields, but no matter how well I try to group and lock them, users always seem to be able to tear them apart so the template loses cohesion, falls apart and users get frustrated. Also having to click multiple times to actually add or edit text is not desirable.

    It would be very helpful to save Miro boards in project-specific folders to reduce time spent scrolling and filtering. As an alternative, tags or color coding for boards would also be greatly beneficial.Requests like project-specific folders, tags, or visual identifiers such as color coding come up often, and they make a lot of sense for teams working across multiple initiatives.

    Paste or break out lines of text as individual objectsOpen

    I often find myself copying and pasting a bulleted or list of notes into Miro. Each line represents an individual thought that I want to manipulate for a variety of reasons—not a block of text. If I want to separate this list, I have to cut and paste each line into its own text object. I’d love to have an option that broke those items out (based on bullet or carriage line return) into their own separate objects automagically—like Miro does with Cells and Post-Its.

    Please allow video upload via mobile appOpen

    Super easy quality of life upgrade that would make giving feedback to developers on UI via mobile screen recordings so much easier. This would saves me having to transfer the video via a third party (apple notes, google drive, airdrop etc.) which is super painful.The board supports videos, and on desktop / browser you can drag in videos, so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be able to upload videos from my camera roll. Pretty please?

    I really like how simple the student sign-up is and how quickly it unlocks the student plan.One concern I wanted to highlight is privacy: the current approach relies on sharing personal documents, which some students may not feel comfortable uploading online.There are alternative options such as federated or institution-based student verification (e.g. via university login), which could confirm student status without requiring document sharing.This could improve the privacy experience while keeping the existing flow simple.

    Voice Memos with AI featuresOpen

    Miro already captures how teams think visually. Adding voice notes would capture why they think that way. A quick voice note can explain intent, context, and emotion faster than typing, reducing misunderstandings and saving time. It would make async collaboration more human, faster, and clearer, especially for remote and global teams. Features like Transcribing the voice note or summarizing it with AI would also be brilliant.

    Undo button in MIRO MappingOpen

    Hi,I hope you are well.I am a paid user for MIRO account for my team (4 people) and I have an issue with Undo/Redo button in my MIRO Mapping/Diagram.I accidently deleted my comments/data in the diagram box while editting in the MIRO Mapping/Diagram. As I was aware of Undo button in MIRO Board, I got shocked that I cannot undo my action in MIRO Mapping. Also, I had a long conversation with Help desk AI and It confirmed there is notfunction for Undo/Redo in the MIRO Mapping/Diagram. (all instruction did work including Control+Z ) I appreacite it if you could add the Undo/Redo Key in the MIRO Mapping/Diagram for using MIRO service. Thank you.Best wishes,Ghill

    Mapping of Jira custom fields "Planned Start" & "Planned End" for use in Timeline & Table widgetOpen

    According to the Jira Cards FAQ the start date field for timelines & tables is automatically mapped to custom fields in Jira named Start Date, StartDate, Target Start.  For some reasons and compatibility to other integrations the target start and end dates are named “Planned Start” and “Planned End” in our Jira projects. Therefore, the table and timeline widget can not be used as intended for editing or planning purposes.I am wondering if it would be possible to extend the (automatic) mapping to cover these names as well or if it would be possible to allow for a customized date field mapping in the Jira Cards settings on boards.Thank you & kind regards,Oliver

    It would be great if grids could be grouped together with any other Objects.I have a bunch of grouped template and reference objects I move around my canvas and always have to see that I bring the grid along too.

    Allow Story Point Sticker Tool to work with Jira Company-managed projectsOpen

    The Miro Story Point Sticker tool is currently designed to work with the Story Point Estimation field, which is only available in Team-managed projects.Since our organization uses Company-managed projects, Jira expects updates to the Story Points field instead. As a result, the stickers are unable to write values back to Jira. The Story Point Sticker functionality is a fun efficient way for teams to update this value, especially during quick activities such as Planning Poker. It is included on many templates. It is disappointing to have a neat tool available in the system that can’t be used.  The manual workaround is functional but distracts from the easy & enjoyable dynamic that Miro brings to Team working sessions. See Miro Support Ticket #921368

    Allow the drag-selection tool to either ''select intersect'' or ''select contained''Open

    Since the new navigation mode have been introduced, Miro decided to make the left-click only for selection. Over all I think it’s great, I still have to re-wire my brain to use the right-click to pan, but no big deal.But the way they changed the selection to select every elements that are INTERSECTING the area you’re selecting is really a pain.I use Miro for quick wireframing and boy do my wireframes take more time to do now as I either have to click individually on everything I want to select, or I drag a box and then have to UNSELECT all of the extra stuff that was included in my selection.Could we have a way to switch the drag-selection box to either ‘’select intersect’’ or ‘’select contained’’?Something like what Axure does with their selection tool: Axure selection tool menuI’m not the only one in my team that feels that way about the new drag-selection behavior.

    Enable Parent-Child relations using Jira-CardsOpen

    Hi Miro Support team,bigger companies are using different planning levels in jira. Atlassian Jira comes with Parent-Child Links to create a Work Breakdown Structure from top level topics to the working level. (#Advance Roadmap plans with aggregation features and roll up values). They are differnent from simple issue links. But similar to EpicLink. Hierachy levels above EPIC are using Parent-Child links.This is a core feature from Atlassian Jira and Advanced Roadmap was as well included into Jira long time ago. Check as well Atlassian docu.Please provide (similar to EpicLink) the possibility to use Parent-Child links. Thanks a lot.Best regards,Sindy Richter

    Visualise task status inside timeline view barOpen

    It would be great if it was possible to be able to visualise the progress of tasks within the timeline view bar i.e. show a % or status line within the bar on the current status of a task.This would help users visually see if they are on track or if they are at risk of completing their tasks. Not only will it help the user who is accountable for this task but will assist when it comes to providing reporting on the progress to stakeholders.

    Granting Org/ IT Admins access to fully administer SpacesOpen

    Even with my account set with "Company Admin" + "Content Admin" + "Security Admin" +"User Admin", I still cannot find a way to administor them.Issues:-> Boards will not be visible to admins if the user has not included the admin in the board or space permisisons.> Some spaces may now no longer contain boards, and be empty, but if the IT admin is never added to the spaces, we cannot see them easily listed anywhere to confirm they are empty; leading to the second issue in that as Admins we cannot delete empty spaces to clean up the Teams and avoid confusion with empty dead ends still hanging around.> Seeing who created the Spaces to even contact them for admin access/ permisison seems only possible via audit log, and manually relying on an end user to grant IT the permisssion to the space. This is very manual and tedious, and shouldnt be on the oneous of the end user.
