It would be incredibly useful if Miro’s Presentation Mode supported basic animations, similar to PowerPoint or Canva.

👉 Use case:

When presenting complex ideas, it’s helpful to reveal content step by step instead of showing everything at once. Right now, a whole frame is displayed instantly, which can overwhelm the audience or spoil the flow of the story.

💡 Suggested solution:

  • Add simple animation options for elements on a frame (e.g., sticky notes, shapes, text boxes).

  • Let users choose how and when content appears — like fade in, appear on click, or slide in.

  • Keep it easy and lightweight, so presenters don’t need to export to third-party tools for smooth delivery.

Benefits:

  • More engaging presentations directly inside Miro.

  • Better control over information flow.

  • Saves time switching between Miro and other slide tools.

I believe this would make Miro even more powerful for workshops, pitches, and collaborative sessions! 🚀 Thanks for considering this!

I use Miro to describe processes or software.
I can download my brain, then there is too much info.
I want to unpack my brain as a flow, chunk by chunk, so people can follow the build of the full picture.
One can do this on ppt, though the build is really clunky.
An animation pane on Miro will be helpful.

Is this ever coming? I am dying for it.. it’s the only feature preventing me to go full-on-miro for all the workshops I do….
