    Show "Share" button on all boardsOpen

    As a Miro user, I want to be able to easily copy the link to a board, regardless of my permissions level / team status for the board, so I can share it with my colleagues -- and if some colleagues who I share it with don’t have permission to view the board, then that can be handled at the point at which they try to view it (rather than the “Share” button being hidden on my end). Additional context:If I do not have editor permissions and/or am not a member of the team in which a board is located, I do not see a “Share” button in the top right corner of the board. If I’m viewing the board in the browser version of Miro, I can simply copy the URL to the board directly from the address bar -- but if I’m in the desktop app, there is not an intuitive way to copy the link. After reaching out to customer support, they told me I can go to “File → Copy board link” but this is not intuitive, as I was looking for the “Share” button that is present in other boards. If there are hack-y / unintuitive ways for me to copy the board link regardless of my permissions, then why not just show the “Share” button and provide a message about my limited permissions within the Share modal? Often times, I find that the people who I want to share the link with are indeed able to see the board once I share it with them. So if the people who I’m trying to share the board link with are able to view it with no issues, then why is Miro limiting my ability to find and share the link?

    Matching Alignment of Shape Stroke and Image StrokeOpen

    I believe this is rooted in the way stroke is applied to Shapes vs. Images. For Shapes, stroke is applied inside, while for Images, stroke is applied to the center. It would be great to have both applied outside so that snap-aligning Shapes against Images carries alignment over to applied stroke.     Editable weekly/monthly calendarOpen

    Many of my projects require an editable calendar to be added to a frame, for shared reference and editing. This calendar would be easiest to read if it was either in the familiar monthly format (7 day blocks across the top) or in the annual calendar template format (where all the weeks of a month are in a single row). It would be wonderful if the blocks themselves could then be edited, preferably by just clicking directly in the square… many of my users are really unfamiliar with the kanban cards and have a hard time navigating them.  Note: I see others have raised this before, but I don’t see viable solutions in those threads. The weekly/monthly planners are visually hard for many of my users to use because they are unfamiliar with that format. The annual calendar template does not allow you to delete any of the lines for all the weeks that aren’t relevant, and I like to create clean boards for my projects and users that don’t contain an entire year’s calendar for a project that may last only a few weeks or months. So I always end up adding the full annual somewhere on the board, then taking a snapshot of just the section that is relevant to the project timeline, then adding that snapshot as a static background onto the project frame. We then have to add colored block squares over the days to indicate the information we’re trying to convey. It’s inelegant and not particularly user friendly.

    split arrowOpen

    Just to make the idea request official, I would also really appreciate the ability to split an arrow/connector, I keep finding I need this:https://community.miro.com/peer-support-45/ability-to-split-arrow-1720especially so that text at the base of the arrow can apply to downstream branches. The hacks/workarounds listed on the above link are okay, but something more robust would be helpful, thanks!

    Something that would be really useful is a way to create a “jump-to” or bookmark list accessible via a right-click menu that allows you to move to selected objects within a Miro board.  Some boards we have are quite large with people working in multiple areas.  Having a way to select an object and add it to a quick access menu so it can be reached by one-click afterwards would make working in a large board so much easier.  I tried link-to lists in Miro but I need to be able to quickly get to the link-to list to use it, which is where a list in the right-click menu would be very handy :)Thanks,Sean

    Only show tooltips if necessary in the project listOpen

    Tooltips come up as you mouse over the project name in the list. When perusing a list of names it becomes quite annoying as it can partially cover text you are trying to scan.This could be helped a lot but only showing the tooltip if the project name is truncated. The full project name is visible for all of my projects so the tooltip serves no purpose other than to annoy me.In my opinion, it would be better to subtly highlight the project name over mouseover and then only show a tooltip when hovering over a project name for more than about 800-1000ms.

    Default sharing options - make not sharing defaultOpen

    Would be really helpful if the company Admin were able to select an option to make any new boards that are created default to being shared with only the person who created it. That way users will have to consciously select who to share it with and reduces the risk of inadvertently making a board not intended for all team members visible to everyone

    Pasting from Excel: Annoyance of selecting table vs sticky note each timeOpen

    When copying and pasting cells from an excel sheet this pop up (screenshot attached) with the option to paste as a table or as sticky notes is really annoying. My team and I usually paste groups of data as sticky notes multiple times in a row; we will often see the pop up 10+ times in a 10 minute period. Once we realised everyone was getting this pop up we talked about how it slows us down, and that it's irritating our workflow.Could you figure out a solution so users that frequently use one option can set a "default"? Maybe there could be a section in settings where we can toggle which one we prefer?

    Multiple Boards Open at the same timeOpen

    I’d like to be able to have 2 different boards open in 2 different windows at the same time (gravy - maybe even from 2 different accounts). There are times when I want to transfer or refer to one board that may contain things like sensitive info while I’m working on a different (sometimes shared) board.2 instances of the app open at the same time should be able to do this.  RIght now it crashes when I try to launch a second instance of the app.

    Bring Me to Start ViewOpen

    The feature to set start view works great for people who have never accessed the board. However, when users have accessed the board before, they re-enter with the same view as they left. If the board is re-designed or lots of content has been added and the user has not accessed it in a while, re-entering can be disorienting. What could be a neat feature is when you left click on your icon, you have an option below “Send Me To Start View.” This would allow the existing user to be brought to the pre-determined start view for new users and be re-oriented. We needed this feature for a past workshop we conducted where the board had several updates and existing users complained that they couldn’t see where they needed to start.

    Summarise sticky notes - AIOpen

    Hey, here’s something I started doing:When assessing the sticky notes taken during a customer interview, copy + pasting as an input into ChatGPT and asking it to summarise the notes. I then copy + paste the summary back into Miro, to display a high-level summary above the sticky notes. It’d be great if I could skip the steps and directly summarise the content of notes in Miro. Definitely more of a nice to have, as a problem that happens a couple of times per week and has a workaround that only takes <5 minutes to do, but it would pretty cool. Plus it’d help for colleagues that aren’t doing this workaround.

    Copy & Paste from Miro into external programsOpen

    Implement the function to copy objects with ctrl+c, pictures and everything else and paste them into external programs with ctrl+v. I am a concept artist and I would love to use Miro as my reference guide. Unfortunately not being able to copy and paste pictures, patterns or whatever into photoshop while I work is extremely frustrating.

    Automatically connect sticky with all the stickys that contains a specific tagOpen

    In order to connect the stickys together in a very complex planning and try to find the critical path, it would be very valuable to get a tool to create the links automatically.Selecting a sticky Defining the tag that I want to connect to All the links are automatically created between sitckys → the critical path is instantly visible !I hope that speaks to a lot of people :)

    Display frame number in presentationOpen

    I love to create presentations in Miro! One feature I’m missing though is to display the frame number within the frame. Very much like the a slide number or page number. It should update automatically when I change the order of frames.Maybe an option “Display frame number” could be added to the Frame context menu.

    Bring Back the fullscreen mode in presentationOpen

    I would love to have the ability to make it so the presentation frame occupies the whole screen (with no tools overlays) and have the option to disable the transition animation. I used this feature in Every class I lectured and will be forced to move back to google slides if this feature is lacking from the product.

    Hello everyone,I wanted to report a usability bug. I encountered the situation many times that when you post a website link in Miro, the preview is not recognized by your fellow Miro users unless they are very familiar with Miro.After all, it just looks like a square and there is no signifier that it is connected to another site.Also, if you link an object to sth., the little arrow that signifies that it linked is usually overlooked. So no-one else but you know that there is a link and thus it becomes obsolete.Please design links beeing more easily recognizable.

    Dependency-Board for Jira CardsOpen

    it would be great to have a possibility to import and visualize not only the Jira-Issues (features / user stories / etc) but also links between these issues (blocks / is blocked / implemets / etc).In other direction: export of the links between the issues from Miro to Jira would also make sense.Thank you!

    Turkish Language OptionOpen

    We use Miro to make and follow our plans with our teams, but most of our team members are afraid to use Miro, because there is no Turkish language option which is their native language. So I am sure if there would be a Turkish language option, at least tools and basic things, much more Turkish user would like to join into Miro Community.

    Importing/copying Google Keep notes into MiroOpen

    Dear friends,I havent been able to find any information online about the topic, therefore i am writing to you.We are currently using google keep as a means of quickly writing notes on the go and sharing information, reminders, creating calendar events etc, but we still have not found a practical way of importing/transfering/copying the content of keep notes into miro boards.Are we missing something out?     Need to improve the export of mindmapsOpen

    Miro mind maps need to be able to be exported to Microsoft project and other Microsoft applications like word and PowerPoint. I use mind maps (xmind) to start my project planning, my presentation planning, etc, then export everything into the Microsoft application and fill in the blanks, add dates etc. Unfortunately, although I love much about Miro, the lack of usable export prevents me from loving Miro mind maps — and prevents me from using it. until Miro mind maps have more of the features that are “table stakes” for other mind mapping tools, I just can’t switch.

    Better display for video meetingsOpen

    I absolutely love Miro and is definitely my tool of choice for running meetings…...To a point. As a facilitator, If I have more than 4 or 5 people on a call, it’s annoying to have to scroll up or down to see the person’s face who is talking or who you would like to talk to. If it could automatically reorder the display to show who is talking it would be extremely helpful. Or a simpler approach would just be the ability to display more faces on the screen at any one time. This, in addition to video breakout rooms would be amazing!
