Everything You Need to Know About Miro Wish List
The Wish List is where we gather ideas directly from members of the Miro Community to help us make Miro even better. Excited to contribute? Here’s eve...

What do you wish you could do with Miro? Add your dream features and support other ideas by upvoting them.
I wish that the poll function allowed people to vote who are not logged into Miro - so anyone with the link that was an editor could vote in the poll.
We would like to see the ability of Miro and or a partner within Miro have the ability to convert images and PDF floor plans into editable objects. This way we can take mounted evac plans and or plans that are sent to us not in the editable format so we can easily convert and work on them. Seems this would be a good task of the AI within Miro. This is why we went Miro vs. Microsoft Visio. We like working with the AI and our diagraming needs. Outside of workflows and flow charts, our facilities and management team uses Visio for floor plans.
It would be very helpful to my team’s workflow to have the capability to rename assets once they’ve been dropped into a board. We often have boards full of sketches that are copied & pasted into our Miro boards from Adobe Illustrator. Members of various cross-functional teams use our boards to download the most up-to-date sketches for their presentations. Unfortunately, when something is pasted in from Illustrator, even if we rename it in miro, it still downloads as “image.png”, meaning these team members have no way of keeping track of what sketch is what. We change designs frequently and are often expected to make many live updates during meetings, so we don't have the time to save each asset every time we make a change. We usually end up having to go through our boards near the end of every season and hunt down the correct asset in our illustrator files, save each one as a correctly named PNG, and re-uploading everything, which is a frustrating extra step just for the sake of file naming conventions, and can be quite time consuming since each designer's board holds a lot of individual assets.Let me know if there’s any workarounds/plans to address this in the future.Thank you!
Please make Tables date fields available in the Claude Connector. I can’t perform simple queries like - “Show me projects that have been added in the last 30 days” or “Make a list of all projects due to be completed by 30 April” without it
Please make the Tables API items in MCP (table_sync_rows, table_create, table_list_rows) accessible to standard OAuth apps instead of just privileged by MCP and limited to MCP licensed users (they don't use AI credits anyway)
Suggestion: it would be amazing to have the power to re-map the Hot Keys / Keyboard Shortcuts, like how Photoshop / Premiere does. My brain intuitively wants to use similar keys from other applications that I’ve used for decades, and it would greatly increase productivity to re-map a few keys (like ZOOM not being a two key shortcut for example). I think it would be useful adding one more feature for templates so that you can directly duplicate one.I’m working on a template, doing some major changes and adding some more content. Since I want to keep the old content, plus the new one, but I’m going to reshape/reorganize everything with a new visual structure, I now have to choose Use the template first, and then save it as a new template. It would be easier — at least in my opinion — to simply be able to duplicate a template and immediately create another one.
Create an outline that allows you to structure the board and summon people to the correct item and zoom level at a glance.
At the moment, “Spaces” doesn’t provide the capability to nest spaces within them. It would be great to have to option of nesting spaces together, making the spaces more focused and more user friendly. For instances, we’re currently using 1 space per feature. Each feature space has 3-4 boards, all with different purposes, still linked to that specific feature. We have many features! This generate a LOT of spaces, added to every other spaces that aren’t features. Having the possibility to have ONE space named FEATURES, and nest sub-spaces in there, for each feature would make navigating and searching much easier and nicer!
It would be great to add a double arrow type to the arrow tool, meaning an arrow consisting of two separate, oppositely directed arrows, representing simultaneous input and output, or data exchange. For example, this would be convenient for me to use in data exchange diagrams between the front-end and back-end entities. All that would be left to do is to add the text on the arrow indicating which endpoint to access. This would be very convenient.
Hello! It would be really good to have possibility to filter work items by tags. We use tags a lot and it would be really beneficial to have possibility to filter particular items by tag:
I have seen this everywhere but not an easy way to find it. The request is SUPER easy. Import an Icon (SVG PNG really anything) Allow me to add text without grouping. Its a time killer to create the text. Line it up, Group it and then if I want to group more its fine but if I have to upgroup…. you know it ungroups everything so I am back to square 1. The default text should be the file name. BOOM this solves so many requests and issues for SO many. I then can drag 100’s of Icons in at a time to make my own icons…. Everything we use is custom Icons. This is why we do not have full company adoption. I could expand this tool to the whole org if it at least did this.
Much like the existing Jira integrations to Miro, would love to see another one for Jira Product Discovery!
I love the clickable checkboxes within the normal cards - BUT the Kanban cards do not have a clickable checkbox feature like the default cards. Is this something that is able to be completed now or a future idea/feature?Current Miro Cards (with clickable checkbox feature) Kanban Miro Cards (no clickable checkbox feature)
I and colleagues/clients need to manipulate geometric shapes and specialised objects (such as technical drawings of equipment) which the range of Miro’s on-board shapes currently doesn’t and some cases never would support. Currently such objects copied into a board can be resized and rotated but only at their original aspect ratio. For optimum use we’d want to flexibly resize these objects withn Miro, rather than having to resort to another application to to the stretching.
It is great to create bulk stickies just from a copy/paste from Excel. But I would need to do the same for Flip Cards. I have to create hundreds! I would need to generate both sides of the card by importing from the data I already have.Is there any way or trick to do this without manually copy/flip/paste/flip process for each card.?I imagine for instance, having an excel file with two columns, representing front side and back side, so I can import or copy and paste. Thanks in advance.
I’d like the ability to select manually control updating changes to Synced Widget Copies from the source widget e.g. I have a design document that I’m editing and once I’ve finished those edits I can push those changes to any synced copies.
I’d like to share synced widgets on external boards without being forced to grant access to the source board. The current implementation defeats the purpose of these IMHO a greatly restricts how powerful and useful these could be e.g. I have a dedicated board for brainstorming and a widget there to track locked ideas that I sync to other boards that have a clean dashboard like setup for review and keeping stakeholders up-to-date.
