The option to disable email notifications for “When someone requests access to my team” and “When someone requests access to my board” is grayed out. Is there a way to disable these two email notifications for the whole team? I am not a Team Admin.

You've already received a reply from the Support team, and I will duplicate their reply here for visibility:

The Notification settings are configured on the personal level by every user so it is not possible to change any notification setting for the whole team. 
As for the greyed out options (“When someone requests access to my team” and “When someone requests access to my board”), you cannot turn them off due to the current rules (one should make sure that they are aware of any requests of other users to get access to their content).
