Dear Miro TeamI have a Miro education project and I can’t erase the boards that someone in the team created (they are the owner of the board). Is it so that only owners of boards can delete them?Can you tell me what will happen to all the boards on this project when my account isn’t active anymore.I will be leaving the University and need to find a way to keep the project boards available to others.Is there any options?Regards,Nathalie

Throughout the year the world opens in the browser often in a very enlarged size, it is impossible to work. I don't always feel comfortable working in the app.How do I fix this error? Help!Video Link

We try to add labels to widgets via the API (as you can do in Miro UI) but we fail to find out to do this via the REST API. Could you point to docu how to do this? PS: Our use case is to set the labels during createWidget request.  

Hi everyone, want to check that it isn't just me who found this issue with the android tablet app version of Miro.In summary, the app does not detect current system rotation state and forces portait mode in locked landscape mode. To get it back into landscape I have to unlock rotation then it will go to landscape.Details here: it starts in landscape mode just fine in tablet mode as long as orientation is not locked. I believe because the app automatically starts into portrait mode and then senses the command to rotate. However, for users like me who dislike auto rotation, I keep my tablet locked in landscape mode all the time, and while it works perfectly in Samsung DeX mode (i.e. landscape), in tablet mode it will actually open in portrait mode and not register my system state of locked landscape. To get the app to rotate then, I have to unlock my screen rotation, then turn my tablet once to portrait then back to landscape to trigger the rotation.While this is a relatively minor gripe

Hi,I would like to undo my accidental zoom extends (when hitting Option+A instead of Command+A when trying to select all text within an object). Or alternatively, would be nice to get to default (e.g. manually selected area) zoom position with one click similarly how you jump follow collaborator’s view by just clicking his/her profile button. Best Regard Simo

I came across this cool presentation and hear that similar interactive experiences can be created using h5p. How can we crop the interactive element such that it only shows the play button? I tried creating similar elements and I get the text under the play button 

I’ve used Miro for about a year, in a college setting. I’ve never solicited student input on the boards, because it didn’t seem obvious how to accomplish that gracefully. I’ve just yesterday come across community post about a way of using “Projects” as a stand in for separating different course rosters into what otherwise would seem to be “teams.” That’s got me really excited about the possibilities for this year. My observation is that 1) Miro is just incredible. I haven’t run into a tech tool with this much promise for college teaching in many years. I use it in pretty much every class as my whiteboard, to facilitate lectures and discussion of readings. 2) Miro’s website seems geared toward a corporate crowd. That makes sense, because most of us education folks are on free accounts (bless your hearts for those free accounts!). So 3) it can be difficult to figure out ways to reconfigure Miro for use in education. For example, I don’t find many templates, using keywords like “education

I have the XD integration working on my Miro boardI can see the artboards and import them too (low res though)When I click the refresh button it refresh with the latest view.PROBLEM: When I click on the source button I expect the browser to open the XD shared link  Instead I receive the following error in the next browser tab (for all the Artboards:)This cdn-sharing.adobecc.com page can’t be foundNo webpage was found for the web address: https://cdn-…... Any way to solve this? 

I have an issue, when I open my Miro canvas, I only see a blank page because it doesn’t auto-focus a node. How do I fix that? I would like to focus a node of my choosing as starting/root node. Is it possible? I want to avoid the “blank page effect” when sharing canvases with customers.

Hi,Essentially designing a complex software system.It will have multiple programs that relate to each other. Each program will have details.So thinking I’d draw a diagram with the multiple programs, but then I’d like to click on one of those program squares (or cards, or what have you) and have miro zoom to a frame (I guess) that contains all my thoughts on that particular app.Sorry for the noob question, hopefully there is an easy way to do this.Thanks.--Peter

I have 4 Miro boards with stickies but need someone to make the whole thing and the individual boards look more professional in advance of a larger meeting.  Please contact me for more information.

We have two main issues integrating with Miro: App URL + BoardPicker AllowList: since every single user in our app has a workspace URL subdomain, we need that Miro accepts a wildcard name here. Like *.domain.com Enabling boardPicker: by default, this feature is disabled, and Miro's users should submit a form to activate it. We have submitted that form twice, months ago, and didn't get any response from them. Can someone from the team please help us out with these?Regards,Mike

Farsi texts inside shapes get invisible when I zoom out!

I work for a design/build firm, and we use Miro boards to keep track of material suggestions, iterations of construction plans, and different prices for the various iterations. We like to use Miro to share our design ideas, but we don’t want them to see some of the behind the scenes stuff like costs and criticisms. Is there a way to hide what aspects of the board some users can see?

My team uses Retro template for our retros. After the end of the retro I want to delete all the stickies so that we start a new next retro. I tried using Version History to restore it to the blank state, but it forces me to create a new board. Is there an option to restore the same board?

During a product increment (PI) planning, this is a need to vote on the plan. We have used Miro twice and on both occasion, some participants were not able to vote.This is either a bug on the voting app or there must be a limit on how any people can vote.Has anyone else experienced this issue?How can we get help when this issue re-occurs?We had couple of hundred people on the PI planning meeting.

Earlier, when a MS Teams users opened a Miro tab (located within an MS Teams channel) they would launch straight into the associated Miro board that I set up.  That UX makes sense to users. Lately, an intermediate step was introduced.  The user is first asked to “See the board”.  Screenshot example of trying to get into a Miro board; Am I imagining this?   This extra question steps seems useless and only serves to slow things down.    Was this intentional?

Hi,When selecting widgets with Miro SDK, widgets get selected as expected but they don’t allow regular keyboard edit options like delete or arrow keys for nudging. The same work as expected when widgets are selected manually.miro.board.selection.selectWidgets([...selectableWidgets]);Regards,Ramkumar

I’ve signed in to Miro with a Gmail account. When I sign out of the Windows app, I can log back in by just clicking “Sign in with Google”, no password asked. This happens even if I’ve signed out on Chrome and cleaned all the login data etc. from the browser. This, of course, is not good for security.

I’d like to give my client permanent access to a single Miro board. We have completed our collaboration and now I would like them to have access to the board to use on their own and edit. Anyone know the best way to do this? I have tried reading up on sharing options and it is all very confusing.Many thanks
