I’m curious if there are good experiences in the community of using Miro with big Touchscreens for ideation scenarios? We have a 65” Samsung Flip Touch screen that we want to explore using the touch feature together with Miro. First impressions were that everything was more difficult than using mouse+keyboard.Interacting with Miro objects was difficult. I used a digital whiteboard pen, but it did not have any buttons to help me control settings.I’m curious if there are any big-touchscreen-using-fans out there? :)
OMG, a meeting starts in five minutes, and I haven’t created a board for it yet! It happens to the best of us! Tell us about the situation when you had to get ready for the meeting and create a Miro board for it in no time. By the way, there’s a brand new course in the Miro Academy - Meeting ready in 5 minutes. This is where you can learn how to architect a board that will drive alignment and outcomes - all in less than 5 minutes.
Our very own @Shipra Kayan is featured in this great article today in Fast Company. Shipra explains the simple principles that successful facilitators apply to make meetings more engaging for everyone. Full article: https://www.fastcompany.com/90746457/3-science-backed-ways-to-help-you-run-better-meetings Any questions for Shipra after reading this article? I have a hot tip that she loves the Miro Community and will be happy to answer any questions or join the conversation here with you all.

Hello Miro Community. My name is Patrick Seaton, the owner of Innovative Management Toools and I am relatively new to using miro boards, but very excited with what I have seen so far with their potential. I am a change management consultant and am in the process of converting my facilitator-led, in-person activities created over the last 20 years that used conference rooms and white boards with cards that I designed to help clients overcome common and recurring business challenges and problems by involving small groups of stakeholders in the session. Visual and engaging sessions with amazing results. The miro board seems to be an ideal way to bring the over 40 activities into a digital life. It is very exciting to bring my tools into a new world and open them up for use outside of my personal client base. If anybody is in the change management and business problem solving arena and would like to open a dialogue, please feel free to connect with me. Regards, Patrick
Hi,I've seen many many tutorial, they are great...But, I am looking for a real workshop video.I wish to see how people interact at real time, not just Miro’s team explaining how it is meant to be.If you have any video/recording of a real user, I'll be glad to get one. Thanks
What must be said - to all the developers & programers @miro that we did not see and maybe not notice ...
Hello everyone @miro your programming people and developers,at this time I am working with my own templates for a workshop … and I have noticed what you’re worked on:Months ago when I added a created template on my board I have to think about the size of my template and I have to move my mouse on my board where is enough space. Now: No matter where I am on my board:Adding the template / Whoosh … it’s been placed automaticly where there is free space. In the past it happend that elements where placed overlapping. Not anymore!Thank you for all the work that you do and you have done that we did not see and notice.Your’e great - you do an awsome job - you making miro this what it is:One of the best tools in the world and you … you should get the best award in the world for it! Could you please suggest which Miro templates are suitable for the below items:1. Interactive Product Integration diagrams - To represent the integration of different softwares in a company 2. Compatiblity Matrix - To create a compatibility matrix having different third party software used within a product. It would be helpful to suggest how to display alerts in this(any template) when some criteria is not met
Hey there, I'm looking for any best practice how to use Miro as a central information hub for a team of around 40 people within an organization. The hub should be the go-to-place for the team, where they find information, content, all they need to do their daily jobs. Any experiences around similar projects? Thanks,Sebastian
Hi folksA client uses Miro, so I’m using it for a workshop in a couple of weeks. I’ve already spent some time playing to get used to the controls. Some in my group of up to 15 will know how to use it but others will be a new. The client is sending a briefing out beforehand, but they’re busy people - I won’t expect them all to have the hang of it.So, I’d really appreciate some pointers for:1 How to set up a Miro board for brainstorming and capturing thoughts, with 3-4 groups 2 How to give them a walkthrough at the start (maybe combined with an icebreaker)Thank you

We have Miro integrated with our Jira Cloud system over OAuth 2.0. I’ve learned that direct refresh of Jira Cards isn’t possible without webhook call from Jira, which the OAuth 2.0 integration does not yet support. Can you please add plans for this ASAP? We have users that use the Miro/Jira integration lots (sprint planning, etc.) and this feature is very important for their productivity. Thanks!
I can’t embed it here, but I made a Vimeo video tutorial showing how to use Photopea to make lettering quickly and easily for use in Miro.Using Miro in one browser tab and Photopea in another, it’s fairly trivial to make text using fonts not included in Miro. Photopea has limitless fonts, and you can just cut and paste your text layer back into Miro. Easy!

Hi,based on my daily work with templates where i created different templates for systemic coaching with already implementet graphics: I’ve got the idea to do the same for diagraming. So you’ll only need other diagraming tools and add the symbols to your library and create a template out of it.I know it is a pain to make this by hand but it could be a solution …Michael
This used to be such a hassle for me - I would think I’d double-clicked in to an object so I can begin text then editing and quickly hit Ctrl + A, only to find that the double click was a little off and I’m zoomed out to see the entirety of my board. Took some amount of time to zoom back in. Love that my zoom and viewport does not change, per a recent update.I recognize the feature’s been in place for a while now, just want to give a shout out to its application. Thank you for this adjustment! This kind of iterative quality of life stuff is the best. Another small quality-of-life improvement just occurred to me that I equally want to shout out - if editable text is bold, it won’t revert to regular weight when deleting all characters in the string or object. Fully deleted text used to un-bold, at which point I’d have to turn bold back on. This was updated a little longer back, just as appreciated.

This week, SaaS Implementation Timeline is the Template Of The Week (or TOTW). This template was created for Implementation/Professional Service Consultants to help them through their implementation process (from discovery to implementation + training). Do you like this template as much as we do? Leave it a compliment here, the template on Miroverse, and feel free to share your favorite templates for SaaS companies in this thread! Voting makes template discovery easier for other members of Miro Community and supports those who are contributing to Miroverse in such a meaningful way. How do we choose TOTW? It’s a mystery! But upvoting helps!
As you can see below, @Robert Johnson, is within a hair of passing my score as “All time” active member of the community! I’ve held this position for a number of months and am more than happy to pass my “gold medal” to Rob who provides an unbelievable level of support to the members of this community! Great work Rob, and richly deserved!Kiron
