Hi everyone I love Miroverse for it being a multifaceted space where I can learn a lot. Every Monday I am amazed by people's creativity and knowledge. I truly wish I knew about Miroverse in my previous roles, so much useful and amazing material How did you discover Miroverse and how has it been helpful in your job/life? We would love to hear about your experience
This week, SaaS Implementation Timeline is the Template Of The Week (or TOTW). This template was created for Implementation/Professional Service Consultants to help them through their implementation process (from discovery to implementation + training). Do you like this template as much as we do? Leave it a compliment here, the template on Miroverse, and feel free to share your favorite templates for SaaS companies in this thread! Voting makes template discovery easier for other members of Miro Community and supports those who are contributing to Miroverse in such a meaningful way. How do we choose TOTW? It’s a mystery! But upvoting helps!
This used to be such a hassle for me - I would think I’d double-clicked in to an object so I can begin text then editing and quickly hit Ctrl + A, only to find that the double click was a little off and I’m zoomed out to see the entirety of my board. Took some amount of time to zoom back in. Love that my zoom and viewport does not change, per a recent update.I recognize the feature’s been in place for a while now, just want to give a shout out to its application. Thank you for this adjustment! This kind of iterative quality of life stuff is the best. Another small quality-of-life improvement just occurred to me that I equally want to shout out - if editable text is bold, it won’t revert to regular weight when deleting all characters in the string or object. Fully deleted text used to un-bold, at which point I’d have to turn bold back on. This was updated a little longer back, just as appreciated.
Project, process and task management with MiroI have started using Miro to map out processes for our company, globally. We have processes for internal business work, and for client work.I’m also using Teams with Miro to have boards, processes and tasks for different clients.Processes often require tasks to be completed by different employees and consultants.I need a way to: Create re-usable processes in Miro Assign tasks based on process steps, to employees and external consultants for completion Track the status of each task, request updates on status of each task See all tasks allocated to each employee or consultant and status of each Mark completed tasks as ‘completed’ Also, create ad-hoc tasks that sit outside regular processes or projects, and assign / track them as outlined above. I want to be able to track all of this visually. I know conceptually that there are tools like Kanban boards, and there are various task managers. Ideally I’d like to do it all within Miro, but I

Hi Miro community!I’m curious if there is a moment you can point to where Miro helped your team break down knowledge silos, whether it’s a template that helped surface information and foster collaboration or just the tool itself giving your team the opportunity to communicate async and align. Thanks!
Hi all Every Monday we talk about new Miroverse templates, but there are so many amazing templates there already Has your template been published on Miroverse? Please share the link below! Let's share, inspire, and learn from each other
I can’t embed it here, but I made a Vimeo video tutorial showing how to use Photopea to make lettering quickly and easily for use in Miro.Using Miro in one browser tab and Photopea in another, it’s fairly trivial to make text using fonts not included in Miro. Photopea has limitless fonts, and you can just cut and paste your text layer back into Miro. Easy!
Ummm are you supposed to look at the person on the screen? Are you supposed to stare into the camera?…. During the body language event today, we talked about how important facial expressions are on video calls because we can’t see the body of the person across from us. Even hand gestures are a different thing on video, so the face does the talking - literally and figuratively. Plus, eye contact is important to show someone that you’re listening to them and you care about what they’re sharing. But how do you do it? I find that if someone consistently looks at one part of their screen, it’s clear to me that they’re focused on me and we’re connected. I do the same - but I tend to put my video on the left side of my screen and notes on the right, so my head is slightly turned to the left when I’m talking to someone on video. Also, I’ll say it - it’s so obvious when someone keeps looking at themselves on video…it’s brutal but we all do it! So, what do you think? How can you make eye contact
I am writing this post as there has been an uptick in users thinking they were missing apps or controls were disappearing. Here’s an example: This behaviour should be expected when your Miro board is being displayed in a way that there is just not enough space for all of the controls - some examples of this include:a small physical display + low resolution, e.g., 13-inch laptop with a resolution set to 1024×576 a larger physical display, but still set to a very low resolution your browser/Miro desktop app window is not full maximized. For example, here is what happens if I have Miro opened in a browser on my 14-inch monitor at 1920 x 1080 resolution AND I don’t have the browser windows fully maximized to fill the screen: I hope this helps someone!

Since as long as I can remember, if you were on a Free Plan, you have an Upgrade button:This helped to identify that a user was currently on Free Plan team dashboard.Today I noticed that Miro is experimenting with a new way of identify a team as being a Free Plan by adding the word free to the right of the miro logo on both the dashboard and while in/on a board:

We sat down with Matt Anderson from Think Startup and his colleague Rob to speak about why it’s difficult to align on customer value. “Customers’ expectations are brutal and are showing no signs of slowing down. Customers are better informed than ever and have a more even playing field equipped with a keyboard and a poor experience. This is not going away any time soon.” Would you agree? The inking (using a SMART board pen) doesn’t work within the Miro board. Using your finger to write works ok but is not a good substitute for a pen. As the SMART board inking is not compatible any drawing or writing using the supplied pen only ‘overlays’ and doesn’t embed into the Miro board. Essentially it won’t save any inking using the pen.
