    Kanban column width (wrap items to 2nd column)Open

    Sometimes in a kanban, when used for an action list or similar, there might be 1 particularly long column due to many items.  It would be fantastic for visual space if you could select how wide a column should be (ie. have items ‘wrap’ in a column.  So that a column with 30 items in it would only be say 15 high (2 columns), or 10 high (3 columns).ExampleTo Do In Progress Review Done Item 1 Item 2 Item 8 Item 9 Item 12 Item 3 Item 4   Item 10 Item 13 Item 5 Item 6   Item 11   Item 7

    Costcenter information, make it more comfortable !Open

    Is it possible to add in the user info window an editable text box.We would use this box to manage our costcenters.Yes, billing group are already in place, but it is NOT customer comfortable and I´m fiddeling with csv files and that doesn´t make me so happy. I´m missing the innovation :-)This wish will be helfully to juggling with users and costcenters without complex content imports of user lists.

    Automatically adjust the height of swimlanes in Kanban templateOpen

    When using the Kanban template, the height of the swimlane increases as you add cards. However, if you delete cards across all columns in the swimlane, the height of the swimlane often doesn’t not automatically resize to a shorter height. In addition, the “+” add card button then appears with a gap between the bottom-most card and the button, so you have to manually drag your cards up in the column to get them all next to each other. It’s particularly frustrating and tedious when pulling cards up into a swimlane from a lower swimlane (think: Now/Next/Later product roadmap). white space gap between “+” add card button and last card

    MFA or SSO should be available on all pricing tiers. It isn’t a particularly exciting feature, and seems a little strange to lock it behind higher tiers when protecting data should be in everyone’s interests

    Embedding Video FilesOpen

    Hi,First off, thanks for this product. It’s a wonderful tool within my team’s design process.From what I can tell reading Miro’s site as well as online forums, embedding a video within a Miro board requires uploading that video to a platform like YouTube or Vimeo.  I have a whole bunch of mp4 files that I want to share with my team without adding that step. Sharing a wish list thought that being able to drag mp4 files directly onto the board would be super useful! Thanks,Joyce

    Show hidden window using mouse over a shape or tileOpen

    Hi, Not sure if my idea is clear enough or if it does exist already. So, I would like it to be possible to hide a window within another one so when you pass your mouse over it, is shows the window included inside. It’s very commom when you want to add more info or explanations without having to use too much space. Thanks!

    Planner - issue movement should notify that project movement is not happeningOpen

    When a JIRA issue is dragged from planner of one project to planner of another project, a user may assume that the issue is also moving across projects (whereas in reality on the sprint value is changing).Is there a way to notify to the user that drag and drop is not triggering actual project movement for the JIRA issue - that is, it continues to stay in its original project. Original ticket: https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/requests/625803

    Migration of boards and frames from whimsical as first class Miro objectsOpen

    It would be great to copy and paste between two platforms. I work between organizations that use multiple collab tools Another idea would be to have a simple markdown language template to be able to export to and import from for all popular collab tools (whimsical, miro, mural et al)It would be super cool to have a miro chatgpt plugin as well

    Option to edit Chart ColoursOpen

    Hi,I hope you guys are well. In Miro Charts there is no option to set the colours of Pie or Bar Charts, it would be great if we can have that capability. I was creating a Pie Chart to  show available services and down services, for that i need a Green for available and Red for down, but Charts only comes in Default colours , for that wend to Excel to create that :( RegardsAman

    User groups within Miro accountOpen

    It would be helpful if we could create groups of Miro users to streamline user access to projects and boards. Example:Our Continuous Improvement team (6 people) needs access to a lot of Miro content, and currently we need to add them one at a time to projects and/or boards. If we could create a “Continuous Improvement” user group and then give that group access to projects/boards it would save us some time.

    Prioritise selection on unlocked itens when they are on top of Locked ItemsOpen

    I like to design journey maps on miro with rectangular shapes and to keep everything tidy I created a grid with the pattern of the rectangles I use, a consistent space between them and with lower opacity. I lock my grid and on top of it a add my full opacity rectangles with the added text. This helps my design to be consistent and I don’t need to think much about aligning everything, since my Grid is there to support me.But, I very often run into a problem that frustrates me - I want to select my full opacity rectangle and instead I select my lock grid. I have to reach between the gaps of my grid to select what I want.When using selection of lock and unlocked items, can you prioritise selection for what is unlocked?In the image bellow I tried to select the purple rectangle but it selected the lock grid.

    More Color options for TagsOpen

    Give Tags at least the same color options that are available for a Card or a Shape.  Tags have a very limited variety of colors.

    Es wäre super, wenn man Post-It welche man erstellt hat, vorübergehend für andere User auf dem Miro-Board ausblenden / verstecken kann. Zum Beispiel wenn man ein Brainstorming Session hat oder in einer Review ist, jeder erstmal sein Gedanken aufschreiben kann, ohne die anderen Teilnehmer durch seine Gedanken zu beeinflussen. Im Anschluss können die Post-It den andern Usern freigeben werden, um gemeinsam darüber zu diskutieren. Als User möchte ich in einem Modus gehen können, in dem alle Objekte welche ich erstelle erstmal nur für mich sichtbar sind, per klick auf das Objekt (oder Auswahl mehrere Objekte) kann ich diese dann für alle Sichtbar machen.

    Anonymous Guest Editor Enhancement Request - Control at Company Admin LevelOpen

    It would be great if the Anonymous guest editor feature could be controlled by ONLY company admins. We have a few teams where we would like to leverage this feature, while the majority of our Miro Teams should not be using this feature. Since ANY team admin can turn this feature on after it is set at the company level, it is preventing our team from feeling like we have the proper monitoring in place to ensure teams who should not be using the feature are not turning it on. Our Team Admins are typically power users of Miro, but we do not want them making decisions regarding the security / access of the platform. Those decisions should be left to the Company admin

    Omni-directional & flexible Mind MapOpen

    I like the simplicity of the Mind Map feature but there are a few fundamental limitations that should be addressed:Omni-directional nodes: right now the mind map can be ordered only vertical or horizontal. I need to option to grow in all directions at the same time. Flexible positioning: even when Auto layout is OFF… the elements shift and realign when moving a node. I need to be able to position nodes anywhere without impacting other nodes. Links to other elements: linking to other elements is happening only in the direction that doesn’t have other nodes… and that looks weird...I need seamless connectors from any direction.Thanks,

    Syncing a mindmap (or other org chart) with Google Sheet or SQL resultsOpen

    Hi Everyone, I am very surprised that not much more users didn’t ask for a solution to sync a data source with a mind map (or others org charts). for example if the spreadsheet/SQL views was construct in such a way that each column is a level node and each different value of the colomn could create a node?For exemple :

    Logged in user first on the kanban assignee list.Open

    Very small request for the kanban feature in Miro. At least in our team we mostly assign cards to ourselves when we start work on a new feature or fix. Right when assigning ourselves to a card we have to search in the assignee list to find our name.I think it would make sense that the logged in user is first on the assignee list of a kanban card so that you can just click the assignee list open and click the first item on the list instead of searching for your name. Another option would some “Assign to me” button on the action bar helper that pops up. Another request which I bet is a lot more complicated to implement but assigning multiple people to a card is also something that we run into all the time.Thanks already 💪

    Pin and thread type connecting line (think Saga's case board from Alan Wake II)Open

    This is a small idea, but with inspiration from Saga’s case board in the latest Alan Wake game, a pin/thumbtack and thread/yarn type connector would be really cool for brainstorming and mind mapping. Using stickies with tags combined with an ability to draw different colored connecting lines using the pin/thread look and feel, it would give the impression of an old school mindmap where you can either search your tags but also trace your different ideas and pathways.

    Board view-only view toggleOpen

    I have this big board with many people working on it, where I spend most of the time checking and panning, read-intensive.Unfortunately in the web app it’s very common to inadvertently do things with the mouse when clicking and zooming around - slightly move boxes around, edit texts… Nothing an undo cannot fix but one should always remember to pay attention to the undo arrows, otherwise the board history will get full of noise.I’m not the owner of the board to change anything at its sharing settings, or to duplicate it. But if I had a toggle for MYSELF to activate only when I REALLY need to edit the board… because as said, I’m mostly reading the board.
