    View-only mode for EditorsOpen

    Problem: I’ve witnessed countless of times when editors would accidentally modify a Miro board, and then there would be a blanket request to “please undo your changes if you accidentally did something”. At those times, as a board editor, I wish I could go into a view-only mode to prevent my own accidental editing.Proposal: Creare a view-only mode for Editors, similar to the MS Office functionality (https://insider.office.com/en-us/blog/easily-switch-between-editing-reviewing-and-viewin). For example, in PowerPoint, I can view a live document and feel safe that I won’t modify it accidentally.

    Add participants to Breakout Frames before the meetingOpen

    Could I request that we can add participants to breakout frames before meetings?  We’ve a meeting with 72 participants which would have been great to add them all to different frames, but this is not possible with such a large crowd at the beginning of the meeting.

    Navigation mode shortcutOpen

    I would like a keyboard shortcut for toggling between all 3 navigation modes (Mouse, Trackpad & Touchscreen). as I use all 3 device types (though Miro doesn’t seem to know I have a touch screen attached to my Mac)

    When I was playing the climate fresk I liked the feature to fould out some more information with the software MURAL. I would like to have a similiar option in Miro. The comment-function does not fit good, because it can be removed to easily.

    Bi-directional Sync with AsanaOpen

    Jira and Miro have a very robust integration that I would like to see come to Asana. The ability to use Miro for visual management during our quarterly planning events and not need to double document into Asana would be amazing.

    Board Last Modified DateOpen

    Showing the Board last modified date would be huge to self-mamanging or archiving boards to the suggest Team Archive method. I can’t imagine that is a heavy lift for developers.

    Team, Project and Board StatusOpen

    I think adding status to Teams Porject and Board would not be a heavy lift and provide so much usefullness for organizing and keeping clutter on the site.  They could simple be In-Process, Closed and Archive (Hide). All statuses should be reversable.

    Make ordering algorithm of frames betterOpen

    You can click on the three dots in the frame view and click on “Organize Frames”.This will put the frames in an order, and if you export a PDF, it will also be exported in that order. However, the order is faulty: It seems to take the ending point of the frame (lower right corner) as an indication where the frame should be positioned in the frame list. Then, the ordering algorithm goes through the board from left to right and from top to down and orders every frame by their “stop point” (=lower right corner of the frame). I like to use nested frames, especially for larger workshops (first an overview/section, then several slides within this overview frame. Some of these slides have a “detail” frame within). So the best approach should be:Take the upper left corner of the frame as a reference point to define the ordering. If the frame has other frames within, it first should arrange these frames in an order after the parent frame, beginning from left to right and then from top to bottom (again: using the top-left corner of the frame as a ordering indication). Only after every “frame within this frame” (understand it as “nested subsection of the Miro board”) has been put in the correct sequence, it should continue with the next frame in the Miro board. (again: using the top-left corner of the frame as a ordering indication). This ordering mechanism would then lead to a clear and (mostly) correct arrangement of the frames.

    Folders for miro boards, file organizationDuplicate Idea (closed)

    Need a way to organize Miro boards within a project, folders would be a great file management system to implement. Once you get more than 10 Miro boards in a project it’s really tough to find your files easily. Our projects have 20 -50 Miro boards in a project and it becomes really difficult to file and share our files

    Bulk Board upload and transfer between accountsOpen

    We need to be able to simply drag-and-drop or have a bulk-upload function (rather than the current single-RTB file transfer) to share boards with our clients / partner schools.  Whereas this type of functionality seems entirely commonplace across software architectures, the absence of this in Miro is a barrier to us growing our Miro client base.

    Frame title automatically renamed by AI based on the content of the frameOpen

    I often see frames that have random titles with “Copy” in front of it or the default. I think frame title are very helpful for organization / finding things, especially on a busy board-- but -- most of the time we don’t pay attention to it as it’s not the thing that’s visual for presentations or other aspects of our work. I would like to propose a solution (feature request) for this in one of two ways:> Frame titles should automatically be renamed by AI based on the content of the frame.OR > Frame title automatically renamed after a title slide is set (though this is generally structured so may be tricky to do) Thank you!Mo

    Stop Mermaid from reseting it's size after editOpen

    Connecting lines; automatic distribution when connectedOpen

    Hi there, I use miro for mind mapping. Connecting lines are invaluable, and here’s a way in which it could be made better Currently, an arrow can be connected to the middle, or manually slid along the edges of a box. This is a wish for the automatic distribution according to how many connections there are. If there’s 6, they can be evenly distributed along the edge; and not all connect to one point.

    If I search for a word that is contained several times in a map, it would be great that while I use the mouse over the search results in the pull-down menu, the corresponding word lights up in the map. Like in AirbnB, between list and map view.

    Link Pasting Failures & 1 other noteOpen

    I love your link pasting feature, I find that frequently however I get a “failed to import content” notice. Instead of then making the link I’ve pasted a text line, it would be nice if at the very least the link ended up formatted like all of the other links I’ve brought in for organizational purposes.  Just put the link in a box with an indicator that it failed to load content maybe? Other note: - if I fail to enter all requirements on the miro wish list idea submission screen, then all of my info entered gets wiped.

    Callout: Adding more than one tailOpen

    I’ve come across multiple cases where I want to add a note between two common, non-connecting processes that were near each other in a given diagram. I believe the ability to add more than one tail to a callout would be useful to others facing similar scenarios.In the mock-up below, I overlayed two callout shapes on top of each other:

    Wish we could copy locked elements!Open

    When I create multiple identical frames for breakout rooms, it is super frustrating that I can’t lock the master/first copy, and then duplicate across all breakouts. Instead I have to leave everything unlocked and then individually lock each element for each breakout. This is especially frustrating since I can’t Select All then Lock since most of my frames require some elements to remain editable - i.e. I need to select each one individually. Please fix this! (Maybe allow copying in normal lock but not the protected lock??)

    Projects end up in alphabetical order when converting a sticker to a jiraOpen

    When converting a sticker in Miro to a Jira issue the projects that appear in the field Project does not come in alphabetical order and it it’s not possible to search for a project. This leads to a lot of time spent on scrolling the lit to find my project.
