I ♥️ Miro, I also love CleanShot X for X for Mac.

There is ONE feature in CleanShot X that I would 😍 in Miro called “Counter”

Here is a very short (11s) video I created to illustrate the feature;

Any chance you can add this to your product roadmap?

I’d support this request as well. It is a game changer when aligning in discussions, e.g. when the correct sequence has to be found in planning. In many cases, the real sequence vs. currently planned has to be shown, or a process description can be visualized much easier / better for understanding with a “counter stamp”.
If the color and shape is also customizable, then the options of where and when to use it are various.

Thanks for sharing information about CleanShot, and this Counter idea looks really cool, and useful, specially when you want someone to go through some steps, like click here and here and here, and it will also help in wireframes.

I love this idea ( and also checking CleanShot :D)

I use Greenshot and more recently ShareX, for screenshot and annotating almost daily in the past. Here is one way i found to get something similar (as a work around):

  • open Excel and generate a list of labels i need, typical  like 01 → 99
  • copy cells, paste into Miro, select paste as sticky note
  • select generated stick notes.
  • select “switch type” on edit bar
  • select “T” for text,
  • change / update formatting of text labels as desired, place in specific spots for call outs

This processes is a bit clumsy for a quick 1,2,3,4, works well for 30 something labels on a board.  A simple counter item starting at 1 (or X)  would be very useful. A more advanced options would be fantastic.
