    It would be great to be able to export frames as transparent PNG’s (if the background is set to transparent), instead of JPG’s.

    Sequential numbersOpen

    Capability to have sequential numbers through the board. Eg: Imagine I have a 10 steps process numbered 1-10 and content for each step. If I create a new step between step 2 and 3, number it as step 3, it would be great if all the numbers for the next steps would adjust automatically (3 would become 4, 4 would become 5 and so on)

    Slide and compare imagesOpen

    It would be really nice to have a comparison widget for imagesAs artists, we often work with Before/After shots and the way to do that at the moment is by adding images and text manually and separate. If you have a lot of images this can easily clutter your canvas, when it could be contained in a nice little widget.In adittion to this it would be really nice for the same reasons, to be able to add several versions of 1 image, as if they were layers, so you can see the evolution over time of a specific shot, again its something you can do by adding your own text and uploading several pictures, but its about the convenience of having everything contained nicely.Could also improve performance for these cases as you dont really need to keep rendering more images, if they are contained in 1 widget you only need to display one at a time.Before after widge exampleshttps://elfsight.com/before-and-after-slider-widget/examples/Thanks!Dani

    Grouping ImprovementsOpen

    Another easy one. When you group anything multiple times and need to make a change and UNGROUP IT. All is lost and it ungroups everything.  If I have 3 groups of objects that are all grouped separately and need to group them all together but then I need to ungroup these. I am not left with the original groupings everything has been ungrouped.  Have it remember the pervious grouping so as you work you can ungroup and re group with out blowing up all the grouping.

    Hatching shapes for individuals with color blindnessOpen

    I'm looking for an easy way to add additional hatching to shapes or other elements (like sticky notes or frame backgrounds) for people with color blindness. This could be a great addition to Miro.

    Handwriting to textOpen

    Within work we recently moved to company laptops that come with touchscreen & a stylus pen = Miro Heaven!!Using this more often has me thinking it would be great if handwriting with the pen tool could then be converted to text? (I imagine this would be a great use case on tablets too with the Apple Pencil in mind)

    Better Collaboration Featurs for Interactive LecturesOpen

    In order to improve interactive lectures, I would suggest:- Allow the owner of a board to assign frames to participants, so that participants can only write within those frames. Upon assigning a frame, the participants view should adjust, so that only the frame is visible to the participant. It should also be possible to assign a frame to multiple participants to create sort of like a sub meeting room, where participants can work together. The owner of the board should still be able to join frames (so that the owner’s view also adjusts to only see that frame) or to still view all frames at once (as is). That way the participants can only see what they are supposed to be working on for the time being. As soon as the time given for a task is over, the owner should be able to let the participants rejoin the overview of the board. Participants should then also be able to view the content of other frames (as is).- It would also be nice to be able to add different layouts to frames other than colors (styles). Especially, it would be helpful to be able to add a grid or lines in order to make writing in frames with pens more fun.- When using a tablet, it would be great to keep the eraser in the toolbar at all times, so it does not take 2 clicks/taps to access it. It would be perfect, if the Miro app would also enable pen functionality with Apple Pencils and Samsung S-Pens, so that double tapping on the Apple Pencil toggles the eraser and pressing the S-Pen Button toggles the eraser (switching pen types optional, but not as important).- For pre-planning, it would also be great, if frames could be assigned to logged-in users before the meeting. So that only with one click, the participants can all be sent to their assigned frames.- It would also be cool to be able to add the camera feed of a participant e.g. to the top right corner of a frame. With multiple participants per frame, it would then be great to have an additional sidebar for each frame, where the camera feeds are shown in a grid or scrollable list. That way the educator can see easier, if the students are dedicating their attention to the task / having a hard time & needing help.

    Jumping from one item to the next along the "connector line"Open

    In big boards you have to scroll over large areas in order to reach the the desired objects.Quite often a discussion or workshop follows the connector lines of different objects (frames, boards, etc). Since they can be quite far apart from each other it would be very handy to jump quickly to the next object by clicking on the connector line.

    Keyboard shortcut for inserting timestampOpen

    I take a lot of notes in Miro and would like a shortcut to insert a timestamp each time I start typing. I have been using Miro for almost two years, and I need a better system for finding notes I took on a certain date (searchability in time) or to check the date of a particular note if I forgot to write it. Of course I can do this manually, but a shortcut or even automatic timestamp for text boxes would be brilliant.

    Assign the Co-owner role to a member of the team in every board at onceOpen

    Hi, in my institution we are constantly creating new boards and we have two roles that have to manage the work in them, locking frames, hiding elements, etc. Currently when one of them creates a board them have to manually make the other co-owner every time, even when both are team Administrators. We sugest to create the option of making owner and co-owner automatically for the administrators.

    Miro and Meta Quest 3Open

    Does the Miro App for Meta Quest 2 still exist? I have not found it in any store?Nevertheless, many major software manufacturers have now presented products for the new Meta Quest 3 at Connect 2023. Adobe, Microsoft and Murral.Miro in a VR world would be a great step forward.What is the current palm/version or where is the Miro app for Meta Quest 2?

    Miro in Virtual Reality?Open

    I’m using a virtual reality app built with the Unity engine.  While I can show and manipulate a Miro board on a webpage view on a wall, I was wondering what the possibilities are, through the Miro API of doing something more freeform, such as moving stickies around on any wall.  What is possible outside of the web interface?

    Revert to a Board Backup that is either not encrypted or to which the client has the keyOpen

    Previously Board Backups could be downloaded as an .rtb file (zip) and modified - images; tags; stickies removed or added and the Board re-uploaded. Somewhere over the past couple of years, backups were encrypted and the keys not provided to the client. I’d like to have a backup of data I’ve created on Miro that does not require further intervention by Miro to be usable.

    Highlighter penOpen

    Is there any way to modify the highlighter pen in the toolbox so that the old and new layers don’t stack and overlay?If not, there should be a mode where the highlighter pen layers don’t stack on each other.

    In KUMO, you can draw a diagram (node and links in Kumo’s case) and them upload it to your website and it is interactice.  Web viewers and not only move around and zoom in and out, but clicking on any element brings up a web frame with detailed notes about that item

    Two-way live data connectionOpen

    I was wondering if it is possible to have a two-way live data connection between MIRO and Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau or PowerBI.Usage #1 is to have data on sticky notes that automatically refresh based on a live data feed with Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau or PowerBIUsage #2 is to have the interaction with the sticky note feed data back to Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau or PowerBI. Interaction with the sticky note could be placing them in boxed categories or applying specific tags in MIRO which we then would want to obtain in Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau or PowerBI.Usage #3 is to have the sticky note placement automatically in the right category grid based on the latest data and to drag sticky’s manually in a different category based on the team interaction and have his category change updated in Google Sheets, Excel, Tableau or PowerBI.Thanks in advance for your assistance!

    Currently: You can send to front / back a locked object by using the right click menu.Problem: Keyboard shortcut for send to f/b doesn’t work, only the menu optionSolution: Enable keyboard shortcut on locked objects tooo so we can continue to use them speedily and without friction, many thanks!

    Miroverse collaborations - enable multiple creators' authorship so the template shows in all of their Miroverse profilesOpen

    Currently: if I create a board with another Miroverse creator(s), @Said Saddouk  let’s say, then only one of us can upload the template to our Miroverse profileProblem: This means for all but one of the creators, they don’t get to benefit from it being on their profile.Solution: Much like how Behance does it for multi-designer projectsEnable ability to tag multiple Miroverse profiles as creators  Miroverse template page should include links to the tagged creators involved The board should be visible on each creator’s Miroverse profile

    Social Media frame templatesOpen

    Hi guys, I think this is a wishlist item. Or maybe I could make a template. I’m not really sure. We do a lot of diagramming and it would be great to have a range of Frames that correspond to the various Social Media post formats. Insta, FB, Twitter, Bluesky… and so on. With fonts sizes etc set.I’ve had a look in the template gallery and I can’t find anything.

    Bring back zoom details for Jira cardsOpen

    I used to be able to zoom into Jira cards, to reveal the full title, and even the description. Now nothing changes when I Zoom, I can not even see the full title. This was the best part about Jira integration, why would you remove it??

    Functionality to rotate linesOpen

    As a user I can rotate a line without changing its length, so that I can have lines of equal length displayed both horizontally and vertically. This ideally is done by adding the rotate functionality that figures also have. Besides that adding in the contextual menu of lines the possibility to rotate in degrees.

    Shortcut key for adding new child and sibling nodesOpen

    I’ve come from using the Freemind desktop mind-mapping tool and figured Miro would be a great online alternative.One thing that became very quickly clear though was how useful some of the keyboard shortcut keys in Freemind are.In particular, you can press the Insert key to add a new child node and Enter to add a new sibling node. Additionally, you can quickly step between nodes by pressing ctrl-arrow keys too.Having keyboard shortcuts for these is incredibly efficient because when you’re in the process of rapidly jotting down ideas, you don’t want to keep moving your hand off the keyboard and onto the mouse to add nodes.

    Enable font style changes for Table titleDuplicate Idea (closed)

    It would be great to be able to change the Table title font size, alignment and color.  It is so small as is I’d like to be able to emphasis it more. I know this functionality currently does not exist, but would like it to.

    Our teams have requested the ability for direct selection when working with grouped or locked objects. They would like the select tool to have an option for direct selection, allowing them to choose a particular object or item within a grouping or locked position. This direct select feature would be similar to the Direct Select tool found in other creative software programs.

    Fix Page Orientation Incompatibility with Google SheetsOpen

    Miro is not currently properly reading the page orientation of google sheets. Unlike other google docs, page orientation is not made via the page setup menu, but instead made through the printing menu on Google Sheets.Simply, the information just needs to be more accurately sourced for uploads.
