When we duplicate items or objects on a board, our teams would like the ability to lock those items so that they remain locked after duplication. At present, when locked items are duplicated, they become unlocked. It would enhance workflow efficiency if there were an option to maintain the locked status of duplicated items.
Currently, you can auto-resize a cell when you place an image in that cell. However, if the image is smaller than the cell dimensions, the cell does not automatically shrink to fit the image dimensions. You have to manually move the cell boundaries to fit an image. This would be a nice feature to add. Please see the screenshot below. In this example, I added an image which is smaller than the cell. In order to adjust the cell to auto-fit/shrink to the image then I have to move the cell boundaries manually. The arrows show how I have to move the boundaries to fit the image.
We would love to create our own collection of stickers
As we have on Freehand, it would be great if I could use the same emoji or sticker several times in a row. Eg: If I select the sticker “Thumb up”, I then go to the board and click on item 1, and the sticker appears (as already happens on Miro), then I click on item 2 and the same sticker appears, then I click on item 3 and the sticker appears, and so on. At the moment I have to go to the “menu” and select the sticker once again ant the click over the next item for each time. If I have to do this for 20 different items, it becomes frustrating.
Currently when you insert live content or iFrames onto your Miro board, understandably only you as the user can see the live content when open is clickede.g.But, when you’re in interactive presentation mode there needs to be a way that you can show that live or iFramed content at the same time to everyone viewing the presentation. e.g. you want to play a YouTube video or show a live website and navigate through it (like you can play videos etc in PowerPoint)
Show all Kanban cards that a user is assigned to, in a single board, and all boards
I frequently get diagrams in images (jpg, png, gif, etc.). It would be awesome to have an AI engine that could do an “OCR” type scan, but convert everything in the image of the diagram into an editable Miro Board with Miro Components (not just putting the image into a Board, but converting the image into Miro components in a new Board). This would be a life changer!!!
Draw a Journey Map using Miro Assist AIThis feature would give you a competitive advantage. Target market: product owners, product managers, agile coaches, anyone looking to visualize a process. v1: Written: Given a text description of a process, convert it into a visual journey map v2: Styles: Provide a few standard options for visualizing a journey map. Draw the map using that style. Convert an existing journey map image to a different available style. v3: New Style: given a new style, ask me a few questions then draw a map using my style. v4: Verbal: Voice interface: describe a process. Miro AI renders a visual journey map v5: Live Insert: “before step 5”, blah blah blah. Or “before the operator swipes their badge, blah blah blah” leads to a step being inserted into the journey map with ease.I am happy to discuss further if the above is not clear.
HiI would like to be able to do some analytics on mind maps to count the number of links individual items have, with the purpose being, I would like to prioritise items that have more links. It would be great to be able to get an output that ordered items according to how many links they have (e.g. if idea 1 had 10 links to other items, and Idea 2 was only linked to 3 other items, then I would like to prioritise Idea 1). Does any type of functionality like this already exist or is it being considered?KRs,Tom
We use request management to manage licenses but would like to have a clear option to “Email Team Admins” when users are requesting to join a team and this is currently not available. I understand it does send an email to the Team admin no matter what option you use (e.g. redirect to a custom URL) but as it also redirects the user to our service desk system we often get tickets raised for access to a Team when this is not required. This option would simplify things for end users and us as admins.
Many iPad apps use two finger tap to undo and three finger tap to redo. It is very natural when using the Apple Pencil, would love to see this implemented on your iPad app 🙏
I teach students from all over the world Maths using Miro. I’d love to be able to use Miro on our open days, but I worry about nefarious individuals being able to paste anything onto the board. It’d be great to be able to have greater control over whether individuals can write on the board; I need to make sure invaders couldn’t paste something pornographic/offensive on the board! Similarly, it’d be great to be able to allow Guests to the board to manually name their pointers, without creating a Miro account, as this creates a bit of friction when using it with Guests. Harry
I’m a Maths teacher that uses Miro to teach students from all over the world. My students love using Miro to write their homeworks, but manually putting their work into A4 sized frames for export is a bit painful at the moment. This Miro framer tool is helpful, but setting it up and using it isn’t easy enough to be student friendly. It’d be great for students to be able to import a PDF, use the pen tool to annotate over it, and then easily export it as a high quality PDF. Editing PDFs is a real pain generally: I see so much potential for using Miro to do this with far less friction than expensive PDF editors if Miro can implement a more streamlined approach to automatically framing PDFs ready for export. Harry
I’m a Maths teacher that uses Miro to teach students from all over the world. I must admit that I find the board sharing settings quite confusing. I’d love to use Miro for our online exams, but I’m not confident enough about setting these up so that students couldn’t cheat using Miro. I’ve had some fellow Miro Heroes advise me, but I’m sure that there are others out there too that would benefit from a more simplified, streamlined approach to board sharing settings. Harry
I teach Maths to students all over the world using Miro. My students and I would love easier ways of drawing straight lines. We would love a tool that creates a straight line between two points: each click of the line. At the moment, drawing a straight line on Miro with a precise gradient requires lots of careful manipulation; drawing straight lines precisely is important in Mathematics. We have now worked out that we can press ‘Ctrl’ or ‘Cmd’ to turn off snapping, but it’d be great if that aspect were a bit more intuitive in the Miro UI. Thanks very much! Harry
Hello,As of now when we use dependency feature, links between tickets are only visible when the Dependencies app is open. Once you close the tab, the 'lines' will not show anymore. We’d like to keep it visible without having to keep the app open. Would be nice to have that feature.Best,Deniz.
Hey Dev Community,I am wondering if you the platform team have any plans to provide access to build App Card planner similar to Jira Planner and Azure Planner. This would be a fantastic additional for integration app cards to benefit from the full potential of working exclusively within the boards. Cheers~Aidin
Hello, can you please add the Elastic search in the list for SIEM log ingestion ? Thanks
Would be nice to be able to “pin” a board so it always appears as the first one in a project. I have a project with many boards. I have created a sort of “Start here” board that I want to always appear as the first in the list for the project. This board contains useful information and documentation guidelines for all boards created in that project.
