The existing template is ok, but does not address the true needs of project management.

  1. Work package items should be added by plus and auto-positioned below the box where you’re adding a new item.
  2. Parent-child relationship between items should be defined
  3. Individual box should have the option to display structured data on the box, not just when expanding in sidebar
  4. WBS item “ID” structured field
  5. WBS item “Costs” field
  6. WBS item to have attachments option
  7.  

Forgot one key feature: dynamic arrangement of WBS items with connecting lines.

Additional:

  1. level specific colour coding and structured data visibility at item card level
  2. diff card types: project title, level 1, level 2, level 3, milestone
  3. rich formatting options: bold, italic etc.
  4. export to excel/csv for easy import to SmartSheet, Excel etc
  • Collapsing of parent items for better visibility
