    Smartsheet integration - sync formattingOpen

    I’m really excited to see there’s a Smartsheet integration since we just started using it within our PMO! I’d love for it to be more robust and sync formatting.Specifically, I’d like for it to mirror a Sheet in Grid view, not just card view. Or if in card view, then for formatting to work like it does in Smartsheet.Text Wrap Use case: currently carrying out customer feedback in Miro but want to capture information in Smartsheet, so this integration would be ideal, but reading or typing text is hard to do when the line just scrolls to the right as you type. Want the text to show up in a box that expands to the size of the text in it.Conditional Formatting use case: I added conditional formatting to the Sheet to capture customer satisfaction in color format, but when the ‘score’ is added in Miro, the conditional formatting doesn’t execute (i.e. the color doesn’t update). I’d like for Smartsheet conditional formatting to see the change to a cell when it’s made from Miro and synced in Smartsheet.

    Mindmap tool with attachment of images, time line.Open

    I would like to create a time line, but Miro does not have such a tool and it is difficult, the second problem is that I cannot attach pictures to branches. The pictures should be attached to the description and be small and open when clicked. The third problem is when I click on the branch opening, the whole branch is strongly scattered in different directions and this makes me nervous. I would like the disclosure of the new branch to take place further and the disclosure of the description inside the new layer on top of the branch, so that the description does not confuse with the branch. Sometimes you want to attach a lot of pictures to one branch, make it possible.

    Proper copy/paste on iOS to/from other apps: support system clipboard (yes, missing – WTF!)Open

    As of now we cannot copy/paste any content on iOS from/to other apps: the Miro app does not support the system clipboard. WTF!As a result I recently had to waste time by manually retyping a whole lot of text content while traveling (my only mobile computer is an 2021 12.9” iPad Pro – which works great unless I want to copy anything from my notes into Miro, add a link to a board etc.).Copy/paste works _everywhere_ else. This is not a missing feature but broken core functionality. Stop treating the Miro app as a second-class citizen – we do professional work on iPads, too!⇒ Add full support for the system clipboard on iOS/iPadOS (as on the desktop). Thanks.---Steps to reproduce: 1. Copy any content (text/image) to the system clipboard from anywhere outside Miro 2. Switch to board 3. Try to paste copied content directly to the board using Cmd-V (or tapping the canvas) 4. Nothing happens

    Talktrack: Notification when new Talktrack recordedIn Development

    Scenario: I recorded a Talktrack on a board of which I am the Owner, and then sent a link to the Talktrack to someone who is a Guest on the board. They watched the Talktrack and then recorded a Talktrack in response (at my request). Five days later, as I was going to follow up with then, I opened the board to watch my own Talktrack and that is when I noticed they had recorded a Talktrack. Assumptions were made on both sides: Mine was that they would have told me they recorded a Talktrack and theirs was that I would have been notified.Please solve the problem of users having to correspond outside of the Miro board to let other interested users know there is a new Talktrack recording on a board.A few options:Board owner is automatically notified of a new Talktrack recording. New Talktracks are treated the same as any other new board content, giving everyone the opportunity to be made aware of the content.

    Text box sizes shouldn't change when changing font sizeOpen

    Current:When I change the size of the font, it changes the size of the text box (bigger box for larger font sizes, smaller box for smaller font sizes)Problem: By changing the size of the text box just because I changed the font size means I have to manually resize and move the updated text box.It’s inefficient and rather annoying - especially if multiple boxes have changedSolution: Don’t change the text box size just because the font size changed 🛑Thanks! 🙏

    Providing admins with more options to manage the content in teamsOpen

    As team admin I have no permission to edit projects created by team members. I cannot delete miro boards they no longer use or move the boards between projects that I am not part of. I need to ask my team members all the time to grant me more access even though I am a team admin. I wish for team admin to be able tomove boards between projects modify titles/names of projects delete projects that are created by others (condition: send notification to owner to confirm the action of admin to delete project) delete boards that are created by others (conditions: send notification to owner to confirm the action of admin)

    Get text data from object to another object.Open

    I would love to sum up data from a frame e.g. in order to easily sum the fragmented data from boxes into a linear list. So all texts from box a,b,c will be logically copied or as an instance (live copy) to a lineair list. Just like a text flow in indesign or a table of contents principle

    AI powered Auto-Scale content on whole boardOpen

    I often cut and paste content from other Miro boards when putting together a workshop. Of course I create templates for content layouts I regularly re-use, but sometimes it may be that you are bringing some brainstorming sticky-notes or a journey map into a new board for reference in another workshop or some other purpose. When moving content over from other boards, it is often created at a different ‘base’ zoom level and trying to manually adjust the size of all content can take a very long time (e.g. the arrow style is wrong size, text headings wrong size, or you have content on a table that you can’t bulk select, scale and align, etc.) It would be amazing if a new AI feature could assess all the content and make a ‘smart’ attempt to scale everything to the same size in one click. Please please please!!!

    Cross platform formatting from excel sheet and enhancing the A.I summarising feature to be more user research centered in terms of giving topline insight heading like a phrase rather a long lenghty summaryOpen

    When I submit a spreadsheet (excel/ sheet) by copy and pasting it onto Miro the formatting of each cells goes away including the colour coding, this becomes a tedious task as it would benefit the researcher to do faster synthesis by affinity mapping Also if miro could individually create smart topline takeaways for selected post its, not summarising but giving topline takeaway like header to collection of user findings, it will make the entire work flow 10x faster

    Document creation using the 'note' functionality.Open

    I’d love to be able to just make markdown documents directly in miro using the already enabled ‘notes’ functionality embedded in each board. I’m not sure why this isn’t already available since the functionality is just sitting right there.

    Admin needs to be able to change board ownerOpen

    It should be possivle to assign a new board owner even if the old owner has not left the company. What if the current owner is on sick leave or we need to restrict access to the owner or move the board for him. Admins should be able to access all information they are responsible for and reassign rights according to the company’s wishes.I am admin and I have to tell the users to move their boards. If they are on vacation I am stuck.Greetings Lutz

    Keep Objects in the Same Position When Enlarging the Frame to Create More SpaceOpen

    I usually place some fixed and recurring objects in the corner of the frame, such as links, references, etc. It often happens that I need to extend the frame to accomodate new elements inside. When this occurs, the objects on the corner do not move accordingly and I always have to reposition them manually. A useful feature that solve this need would be great.

    Open a board I have write access to as "Read Only"Open

    There are some boards in my organization that I need to look at frequently but rarely need to edit and it would actually be detrimental if I did. I wish there was a way I could turn off edit mode when looking at a board and this setting would be saved for that board until I enable edit mode again. Additionally, it might be useful for people who own a board to be able to disable edit temporarily for other people on the board when running a workshop or something along those lines.

    Increase number of undosOpen

    Currently, Miro limits the number of undos (cmd-Z or ctrl-Z) to 32. Is this an arbitrary limit, and could we bump it up? I’m not mistake-prone, I use undos in a few different ways and I often run into the 32 limit. If you're a fan of powers of 2, could we make it 128?

    Add support for formatting inserted text (e.g., from ChatGPT or Apple Notes)Open

    Hey there! It would be incredibly helpful to have initial formatting in newly created texts from ChatGPT (and other popular tools) to save time on tedious work. I’d love to see ChatGPT and Miro working together seamlessly! Currently, Miro isn’t quite catching the ball…Formatting can be quite challenging, especially when merging existing documents. My suggestion is to focus initially on new documents, which should be much easier and already provide great value! PS: If there have been discussions on formatting elsewhere, please point me to that thread—I’d be happy to add my support there too! 😊

    Audit Log User FilterOpen

    As an administrator, I need to see activity for a specific user in a given timeframe, so that I can determine if they are using their license appropriately. Ex. User is in billing group for an area but using it for other departments. Ex. User is accessing boards outside their scopeEx. User has full license but is only viewing boards The current audit log functionality shows all activity for all users within the time frame filter in the audit. The problem is I don’t know what time frame the user had activity. Would require me exporting months of data and trying to filter by user. Requested functionality - Add a user filter to to the Audit Logs - View Logs page. Export would only export data for that user. -Add shortcut to access history in the User administration. Clicking link would take me to the page above with user filter filled in.

    Clickup Planner BoardsOpen

    I want the same functionality as jira for planning board but for clickup. Our agile team prefers clickup for planning work with our clients and I wish the integrations were as looked after as Jira’s for miro because I love that integration. Please improve it!

    Add option to de/activate transparency for SVG and PNG imagesOpen

    I want to be able to overlay images on top of each other, but the enforced white background for SVG images and PNG does not allow this.Add a feature that also allows to select a color as the transparent color, maybe even add a slider to adapt the threshold to make the transparency smoother.

    When a miro board loads, make the UI clickable before all elseOpen

    I am using Miro though a Citrix Workplace VPC, and Miro performance isn’t great.While waiting for a Miro board to load, I can see all of the images on the canvas are loaded, or loading in, but the UI where the name of the board, the buttons for cursor, announcements, presentation mode, zoom, etc, just show a shimmer effect.These elements aren’t clickable until the board finishes loading it, which can be up to five minutes on Citrix Workplace VPC.Please at least display the name of the Miro board first so that I can at least be sure I am loading the correct one.
