It would be great to have a buttons which take some actions like clicking to reveal a hidden frame etc. Buttons can be used to create all sorts of automations as in other software like Notion, coda etc.

One of the operations could be reveal a hidden object / frame.

One more would be to move the viewport to another area - basically sort of guided view of the board.

Was it helpful?

Hi @satyanath

I upvoted!

Miro has very powerful programming tools - but that power is only available to experts. It would be incredible if Miro had a framework (like Microsoft Excel macros) to let everyone access that power, not just the technical experts.

To be honest - and this is not a criticism - back in the 1990’s-2000’s there was a boom in this sort of thing, and there were established ways to make complex IT features in applications accessible to non-experts. But the younger software developers today never experienced those times -- nor ever learned the technologies and “design patterns” that were applied -- so I can absolutely understand when this functionality is not offered.

I hope they do something about this one of these days!

Cheers, Ken
