It would be really nice of clusters could stick to a frame. Frames are an excellent way of grouping content together, both visually and mentally. It would be really nice if clusters could attach to frames as “normal” items.

This limitation introduces a major bug with Cluster Titles.

Here’s the steps:

  1. Select Sticky notes in Frame #1
  2. Cluster by keywords
  3. Notes are grouped in a “Cluster Frame” with keyword titles.
  4. Publish Frame #1 to PDF

Issues

  • Cluster Frame titles are not included in the PDF so just a bunch of Sticky Notes
  • Each “Cluster Frame” is treated as new page in the PDF so you get whole pages with eg. Sticky notes full page sizing.

This means you cannot use clustering on boards when you want to create a pdf report.

I could not believe that clusters didn’t ‘stick’ in the frame.  So of course, hiding the frame doesn’t hide the clusters.  And clusters also seem to be so rogue, that you cannot ‘bring forward’ something over them - they still show.

Very odd indeed and frustrating enough for me to not use Clusters again.
