    Stop Paywalling Existing Functionality Used by TeamsOpen

    Our team has relied heavily on Miro’s timeline widget to support asynchronous collaboration between contributors. Until recently, guest users were able to add to and edit timelines—functionality that aligned with Miro’s own promise that guests can “create and change content” on shared boards.That ability has now been removed without warning or visible documentation. This change has broken our workflow, especially within Microsoft Teams where the timeline widget now enters a permanent loading state for all users, regardless of subscription.This isn’t a request for new functionality—it’s a plea to restore capabilities that were already in place and critical to many teams. Moving this behind a paywall not only limits collaboration but also damages the trust users place in the platform’s flexibility and transparency.We respectfully ask Miro to: Reinstate timeline editing access for guest contributors Communicate changes clearly and proactively Avoid removing features that users have integrated into their processes Changes like this discourage platform loyalty and force teams like ours to start evaluating alternatives. Please reconsider this approach for the sake of collaborative integrity.

    Guest Contributor Access to TimelineOpen

    Our organization has been a paying Miro customer and I have personally been an internal, enthusiastic advocate, using the platform to enable seamless collaboration across our teams. Unfortunately, a recent change has significantly disrupted our workflow: guest contributors can no longer edit or add to timeline widgets on shared boards.This functionality was previously available and aligns with Miro’s own documentation that guests can “create and change content on boards they’ve been invited to.” Its removal was undocumented, abrupt, and has even broken Teams integration, leaving timelines stuck in a permanent loading state.Guest editing of timelines is not a luxury—it’s essential to maintaining an inclusive and productive collaborative environment. Paywalling functionality that makes sense for Guest Contributors not only hampers productivity but signals a shift away from the collaborative, user-centric design that brought us to Miro in the first place.I urge Miro’s product team to reconsider this decision. Reinstate guest access to timeline editing, or at the very least, provide transparent communication and a viable workaround. Companies like ours are now reevaluating our continued investment in the platform.

    I would like the ability to set arrow size independent of line weight.Why this feature matters: Today the arrows appear quite big on my diagrams and consume a lot of visual attention, detracting from other features in the diagram.

    app navigation improvements and a note about commentsOpen

    Had to use the mobile app the other day. Wanted to throw out there that I think adding focus mode to the app would be really helpful and much less clunky.To build on that idea, I think it would be really cool if on the board page / home dashboard, there was a dropdown for all my boards that would list doc elements contained within them. Then when you click them it could just open focus mode of that document. Making it even easier for mobile. Figure this could be expanded further on the dash specifically to make it easy to duplicate or move docs between your boards. Maybe even frames.Building on that even further, I think the ultimate way to access a doc would be through a widget on android. Have a quick thought, swipe to a page on your homescreen, unload the thought, and it syncs with the doc on the board. Could have a few different widget types that do this or connect with different doc types.I think the main thing though is a focus mode. It desperately needs it if I’m to be productive with just my phone and a little bluetooth keyboard.One extra thought I had, unrelated to this: I really think there should be an option to always display comments (on documents specifically). I like the idea of having a commented up doc with a bunch of comment bubbles flying off of it. It might look a little chaotic, but the point would be to be able to see the comments without having to click on them individually. Could move or reposition them in canvas space but they’d always be connected to those words. When you’re editing a doc, the feedback, or note, can be important, and the comment indicator for me, doesn’t call enough attention to itself. Right now, I achieve this functionality in a very janky way by using arrows directly on the document, but if I change one word, the whole thing gets messed up. One simple change to comments and I wouldn’t have to do that.Happy to take a call with the Miro product team anytime about these ideas, or anything else they may have in mind.     Changes to Android Mobile App to Make it More User Friendly (and a few more things)Open

    Hey guys,I love Miro so much. I am so happy I discovered you guys. It’s completely changed the way that I think my way through my own personal creative projects. I recently found myself in a situation where I wanted to log some thoughts to my personal board, but wasn’t near a computer so I used the mobile app and I have some suggestions: On desktop we can do focus mode to expand docs and other inserts to full screen -- I’m confused as to why this isn’t a standard feature on the app yet? Automatically resize to the smartphone aspect ratio, make it easier to navigate, seems like a no-brainer. This would be extremely useful when I’m on the go and trying to use Miro effectively with just my smartphone and a small bluetooth keyboard on-hand. This brings me to my second point: I think for documents, it would be incredibly helpful if on my dashboard page (where I’m shown all of my boards), there was a dropdown ticker next to the board names that when triggered, would drop-down a list of docs inside that board (sorted by recently changed, name, or type). This could further reduce the stress I personally go through on the mobile app of “Oh I have an idea”, then I have to zoom out, pan, look for the doc I’m putting notes in for that thing, zoom in, tap, tap, pan some more, type, pan.But imagine if that process was, “Oh, I’ve got an idea for that doc!” I open the Miro app, drop-down the board I’m thinking of, scroll down to the title of the doc I’m thinking of, click on it, and it opens in mobile focus mode. Tangentially, this could be expanded to be how you duplicate (or move) various documents across boards, right from the dash. My last though was this: Miro takes place on an infinite canvas and I’d love to pull some of that to the home screen of my device… in the form of a widget. I’m picturing an even quicker way to take notes: We have a doc on the canvas that’s connected to a widget. Could be a to-do list, a plain text doc, I think there’s a lot of room for creativity in how you could create widgets linked to board elements so that in those REAL moments of inspiration I have even faster access to getting it out of my brain and on to my board. If the product team ever wants to reach out to me to ask me further about this or get my thoughts in general about Miro I’m more than happy to get on a zoom call or something for a bit to give further feedback. Love helping teams building my favorite apps like this. Thanks in advance for reading my wishlist ideas!

    Synced content working with external usersOpen

    I have a large project and the customer has access via some miro links with a password. Sadly the synced content does not show across boards, which is annoying. It would be wonderful if users could log into the synced content. so be shown a login screen for the synced content, and enter a password if they have it OBVIOUSLY…

    Synchronise JIRA board and Kanban Framework boardsDelivered

    Is it possible to have a way to synchronise a Miro Kanban Framework with a JIRA board ?For exemple, if I had a JIRA card placed at the same time in Doing column in my Miro Kanban Framework and my JIRA board and I wanted to move it in Done column in my Miro Kandan Framework, I would like it moves it in the same column in my JIRA board.

    Synchronized Cards between associated boardsDelivered

    It would be outstanding if a card with an asignee, attachements, due dates etc. can be copied and then synchronized within different boards - meaning if you update a card on a high-level team kanban, the same update is performed for in a project-specific board and vice versa. The cards could be similarly linked as they are now, by right click → chose the card you want it to be synchronized with, done.

    Adobe XD Integration – sync all elements including outside the artboard and preserve placementNot Planned

    When I sync an Adobe XD file to Miro, there are two undesirable behaviors that I think should be improved:I wish elements outside of artboards were able to be synced. Sometimes I put headlines or annotations in my XD file outside the main artboard, but those don’t get synced to Miro The layout/ordering of my artboards is not preserved in Miro after a sync. I wish that Miro was able to perceive and replicate the coordinates and placement of my artboards in XD and replicate that in Miro.

    Synchronize frames between boardsDelivered

    I propose such a scenario. One is a board - a dashboard with frames from other boards.If I make a change on a frame in a dashboard, the change in that same frame happens on the other board as well.I think the implementation may have difficulties with synchronous operation and with access rights, but it's worth it. But then it can be implemented as a synchronous work of users within the framework of the frame, and not the board.

    Ability to Shift ScheduleOpen

    Hi Miro Support - got another feature request on the new timeline feature for you. Lets say you make a whole timeline and then something needs to shift (I know, crazy). It would be great if rather than individually shifting every single date, there was the ability to select multiple items and shift them all by a set number of days. This feels like a critical timeline feature that is missing. Hope it’s in the works!

    Export Power Automate Flow design to MiroOpen

    Use Case: Overly complicated flows in Power Automate and Logic App are hard to ready and debug when there are more than 100 nodes.  Miro is great for reading large amounts of nodes.  The ability to connect to a power automate environment and download the JSON structure of a Power Automate to then create connected cards in Miro would be awesome.  The cards would identify the type of node that exists in the Power automate and additionally any functions that exist within the card. Thanks, -Michael

    Enable Brand Center customisation per Team not just WorkspaceOpen

    Currently when you set colours and fonts in Brand Center it’s applied across all of your teamsProblem: if you use different teams for different products / clients and want to design boards in their specific style, then it becomes frustrating becauseyou only have one style set accessible across all teams You have to spend time searching for the brand colours needed for boards in the other Teams You don’t have (enough) ability to add the different custom fonts for different brands across your Teams Things become messy if team members / guests start using the wrong colour set just because it’s up at the top of their colour listSolution: Enable the option to set specific Brand Center styles per team.Many thanks for considering! 💛

    Integrate Power BI and MiroDelivered

    Our company is using Power BI more and more and I would love to be able to create process maps with live data from Power BI. Right now, Power BI limits the page size requiring multiple tabs and I would love to visualize my data with the Miro features.

    Adding properties to timeline viewOpen

     So I’ve checked in with the Miro team, apparently this is something the team are hoping to implement at some point, but no current plans or timelines yet (no pun intended) Problem:When switching to timeline view, none of the properties are visible on the timeline. With all the effort of adding properties in the table view, some of these details e.g. owners, or prioritisation would be useful to see in the timeline view too, which could make the data clearer when sharing this view with people who need a quick view of what is happening over the year. Notion does this well, and arguably could be a useful feature for those wishing to provide richer dashboards, especially given the cross board synching capabilities of these new datasets.  Let me know what you think, if this is a good idea - perhaps we can upvote to prioritise this? CheersDavy

    Rocketbook Beacons IntegrationOpen

    As someone who uses both a physical and a digital whiteboard, it would be awesome to have a way to flow between them. I already use Rocketbook Beacons to send a .jpg of my board to a Drive folder, can a way be developed to add a Miro board to the list of “destinations” the Rocketbook app can send an image to?For example, I’d love to sketch out an idea quickly on a physical whiteboard, then use the Rocketbook app to send that image to a Miro board, where I can take that sketch and refine it. I know I can just upload an image straight from my phone, but the Rocketbook app straightens, color corrects, and is just way more efficient.In an ideal world, there would be a way to draw on a physical whiteboard, scan it, and then have it be converted into a Miro board. Like Stickies Capture on steroids. A guy can wish, right?

    Add the possibility to select a default color for iconsOpen

    Dear Miro,  I’m using icons a lot and I have a bit of a gripe with the default super black color. So everytime I insert an icon I need to change the color to match it with my wireframe or the use case at hand I would like to be able to select the default color of inserted icons, my idea of the concept is a simple color picker in the icon insert panel like this :

    Replace Image on Drag and Drop UploadOpen

    When uploading via drag and drop, it would be helpful to drag a file directly into a template image/shape and drop to replace the template image with the new image.  This would allow us to quickly fill out our templates as we’re dragging and dropping files, without needing to manually click “replace image” or use the manual upload tool. Other tools like Adobe xD have this functionality. It would streamline the process of drag & dropping images into an existing template.

    Grid corners being rounded to loose that dated Excel feelOpen

    I’m working with both engineers and designers etc. and if I’m to have the designers leave their safe zone of Figma (FigJam), then components like the grid having flat corners, fuels their “but Miro looks a bit dated and/or engineers first’ish”. Try spin up a new Miro grid and a new FigJam table, and the FigJam table just looks more modern/inviting/cozy, where those corners are a big part of it, even though I find the technical capabilities of the Miro grid better, it’s just like this first impression makes it a bit of an uphill battle getting non-engineers to embrace Miro vs FigJam. I know this is nitpicking details, but everything counts.I can see the new tables does have a bit of rounded corners which is nice (here though I would also like to have some layout options, like color scheme).

    List with every card i am assigned to across Boards/Teams/EnterprisesOpen

    Hey - i work on different projects. Every Project has its own miro-board with its own kanban-board with respective tasks or elements.  However it gets easy to loose track of all the cards and all the projects i am assigned to. Is there a possibility to have a singe bullet-point list with every card i am assigned too?  Does not need to be a board, because every board is different, but a longlist with every assigned card.
