Timeline (Beta) when collapsing groups in the timelines it would be good if , instead of the current behaviour of removing all rows in that group from the visible timeline  there was a new behaviour of showing just 1 header line that encompassed the full span of any dates of the items in that group.    or for bonus points the ability to choose which default behaviour you want in the timeline settings.

I would describe this feature as “timeline group date rollup”.

I’m trying to use timeline for a bit of project management and using the grouping feature to emulate milestones. As such, I don’t want/need to have an exact start/end dates for each of the tasks, but I want to be able to capture overall amount of time allocated per milestone (represented by a group in this case) and have it displayed in the timeline layout without the noise of individual tasks/items inside the group.
