i want to use the timeline module, but how can i set a predefined public holidays to auto calculate the dates? does Miro has predecessors for timeline?
Would be ideal in the tables function to be able to format text. Currently not available.
I keep finding myself wanting to share a link that would take a board participant to a specific location/view on a board, not an object.Currently, I can only create a link that will move a user to an object using the "Copy link" option to generate a link with the moveToWidget parameter. This is not ideal as it zooms the user in on an object, so that it fills their screen/viewport, which does not match what want them to see.My current workaround is to create a rectangle shape that with no colour/fill or border, using that rectangle to create an invisible anchor point. I then lock the shape and generate an internal Link to link. One better experience is the Bookmarks app by Miro Labs. This app uses the Web SDK’s viewpoint.set() to send the user to a location on the boar, similar to the internal Link to feature.Should such a feature be delivered, it seems like an opportunity to also deliver the Wish List idea to have the option to navigate to the current start view (see it here).Given the additional options in the board's context menu, perhaps they are in an overflow menu, e.g.: Thanks for considering this idea :)
LOVE auto layout. Just wish i could drag the icon downwards to also space out the content vertically. Currently you can only expand across the horizontal axis, but the rows remain same spacing - which is very tight (!) and involves manual moving to make the vertical spacing same as horizontal. Thanks!
At the moment, two factor authentication (2FA) is only possible using an Enterprise Miro account. For security reasons, I strongly advise that this feature should be available for every account type. You know that there is a lot of hacking going on, and that many cloud services (GitHub, Paypal, Steam, ...) offer or force 2FA. It is the state of current security art to offer a 2FA functionality to improve security and make our accounts more secure, prevent hacking, phishing and data theft.I do not believe that this feature should be allowed for enterprise accounts only.
We would like to request a permission setting that ensures only Company Admins can assign or remove Team Admin roles.Currently, Team Admins are able to promote other users within their team to become Team Admins as well. In our organization, we want to restrict this capability to maintain better control over administrative access. What we want: Team Admins should be able to add and manage team members. However, they should not be able to make other users Team Admins. Only Company Admins should have the right to assign or revoke Team Admin roles. Example: Jane is a Team Admin of the “Marketing Projects” team. She can add new users like John and Sarah to the team. However, she should not be able to promote John or Sarah to Team Admin. Only a Company Admin can make someone a Team Admin, including Jane. This feature would improve governance in larger organizations by preventing uncontrolled distribution of admin privileges across teams.
With the new Slides (Beta) it would be great to be able to select docs and then convert them into slides to make for an easier transition. If you want to use Docs to transition to slides you need to take each individual doc and put them into a separate frame which is not ideal and is tedious at best.
As per Justin Mertes:Dear Miro, please learn from Loom by auto-naming boards. I have endless numbers of Untitled boards. I use "miro.new" daily to quickly sort through thoughts, ideas, or communicate concepts. But when I'm done, I'm left with a less organized Miro, which makes me frustrated when I try to log back in. In the middle of meetings I try to find where I left an idea, and I'm frustrated as my team sits in silence while I open several boards. (at the very least, create a "preview board" hover or an auto-generated thumbnail that shows key areas of my board).Loom, however, immediately renames my videos to reflect what I discussed in the video, making it far easier for me to come back and find the specific videos I want to find. With as much as Miro is touting it's amazing AI, it'd be helpful to put it to use for a pain point of every single Miro user.
Embedding Miro Boards in Teams meetings is useful. But having random, non-identifiable names for users limits the effectiveness of teamwork and collaboration.Upon embedding you should have the option to use Teams Names or update the pointers manually (not sure how this would be done). Asking everyone what is the name of your pointer is slow, breaks the flow and wastes time. Getting the naming wrong causes difficulty on following up on issues raised. Not every meeting is meant to be anonymous. Meetings with externals mean that their org. may not use Miro. Please sort this as Miro should be able to grab the names automatically.
We want to allow our users to be able to create their own Team.
Miro is a fantastic tool that allows for the management of a wide range of information all on one board. However, I have a concern. While Miro integrates seamlessly with renowned Projects & Tasks management tools like monday.com, ClickUP, and Jira, I'm puzzled as to why there isn't an integration with Linear.I strongly hope for an integration with Linear, which is known for its engineer-first approach.
There are some advanced flow charts we use Diagrams.net (draw.io) for as Miro isn’t fantastic for complex flow charts. it would be great if we could import these files and we can move elements around. (I realize we can export a png from diagrams.net and import that into Miro, but it would be nice to interact with the specific objects in the flow chart.) Thanks!
Hi there,I would like the ability to use Miro AI to be able to change the format of things on a board. When I tried, I think I could only create documents/diagrams from scratch. The example I have is that I had a user story map using traditional sticky notes, but then I found your template User Story Map Framework template that I preferred visually.I wanted to pasted all my sticky notes into this new template but couldn’t find a way, and I didn’t want to re-type everything into the new one.
Can we please add a Team Admin field to the User for filtering? It would help with removals / deactivations
Hello! My request is for customizable colors for tables and graphs. Currently all my graphs have to start with the same blue color, and I really wish I could pick something else. I tried seeing if I could do a work around by putting all the data in the second column and then deleting the first, but it just shifts it over to be blue again :C I couldn’t find a wish list item for this, so hopefully this isn’t a duplicate! It would be really awesome to have this for my team :D Thank you!
After using the new Diagram format and mode container object and then switching over to work in a classic frame, the frame seems so old and boring. If frames and formats ever hooked up and merged their feature branches, their lovechild would be an absolute canvas icon – clean lines, flexible layout, and some structure with style. For the sake of the future of all Miro-kind and the canvas, just ship it.🙏
