I frequently use Miro for brainstorming sessions when I'm relaxing and do not have access to a desktop computer. My main device for these sessions is an iPad. During brainstorming, I often want to copy and paste diagrams written in PlantUML or Mermaid.js—usually generated or edited through AI tools.
Currently, on the iPad version of Miro, it's impossible to easily paste Mermaid.js diagrams. The workflow requires clearing the input field first, and then the copied diagram text (from the clipboard, often generated by an AI language model) does not become available for pasting. As a result, I am forced to log in to my desktop computer and use keyboard navigation to paste the diagram, which defeats the convenience and portability Miro should provide for brainstorming anywhere.
Feature Request:
Please improve the copy-paste functionality in Miro's iPad app, specifically for PlantUML and Mermaid.js diagrams. Allow users to seamlessly paste diagram code into the editor directly from their clipboard—without the need for unnecessary steps like clearing fields or switching to a desktop. This enhancement would greatly improve mobile brainstorming and workflow efficiency for users who rely on tablets.
Thank you!
