I am writing on behalf of Zubaan Training, an institute dedicated to teaching Urdu as a foreign language.

We have been using Miro regularly in our classes and truly value it as a collaborative tool for language learning. One of the core parts of our teaching involves helping students read and write the Urdu script.

However, we are facing a significant difficulty Miro does not support the Jameel Noori Nastaleeq font. Our teaching materials and textbooks are in this font, and it is essential for our students to learn and practice in the same style.

We kindly request you to look into this matter and consider enabling support for Jameel Noori Nastaleeq within Miro. It would make a tremendous difference for Urdu language educators and learners worldwide who rely on your platform.

The proper font can be view and installed from here: https://urdufonts.net/fonts/pak-nastaleeq-regular

Below is a comparison chart made in Microsoft Word with the proper Jameel Noori Nastaleeq font used on the right side:

Thank you very much for your time and support. We look forward to hearing from you.

Warm regards,
Zubaan Training

Hi @Zubaan Training Islamabad, thank you so much for sharing this request on behalf of Zubaan Training and explaining the context so clearly.

At the moment, Miro supports a limited set of fonts, and we understand how important proper Nastaleeq script is for teaching and learning Urdu. Your idea is now on the Wish List for our product team to review, and it’s open for votes and comments from the community.

For others who come across this thread: if support for Jameel Noori Nastaleeq (or similar Urdu fonts) would benefit your work, please be sure to add your vote and share how you’d use it. The more context we have, the better our team can understand the impact.

Thanks again for helping us make Miro better for language educators worldwide!
