    Smartsheet Card Display CustomizationOpen

    I would love to see a feature where what is shown on the Smartsheets card can be customized based on the Smartsheet Columns. For example, in the above image I don’t really want to see “Task Sheet - SUS04012: W..” and would prefer to add task owner, phase, etc.

    Hide Grid Background for all usersOpen

    Dear team,I 'd like to share my board without the grid background when sharing it to others.  As of now, the "hide / show grid" feature seems to be only available on user level, not on board level. But I would like to make this setting on board level. (Or I am missing something.) Kind thanks!Stephan

    Ability to add Jira commentsOpen

    The Jira integration is great, but I’d love to be able to add a Comment to a Jira ticket from within Miro. I’m finding I have to jump out of Miro and into Jira a lot when working with Jira cards in Miro.

    Using Effort in Azure CardsOpen

    Problem Description: Currently, Miro supports only one third of the workload estimation methods from Azure DevOps, specifically "Story Points" for Work Items. However, our team relies on another field, "Effort" which is the official field from Azure DevOps for 2 out of 3 process template definitions instead of “Story Points”. Unfortunately, this is not supported by Miro at the moment. As a result, we are unable to effectively synchronize our Work Item estimations between Azure DevOps and Miro, which impacts our workflow and collaboration.Desired Solution: We would like Miro to support the "Effort" field for Work Items from Azure DevOps in addition to "Story Points". This would allow teams that use "Effort" for workload estimation to seamlessly integrate and visualize their data in Miro, improving compatibility, efficiency, and accuracy in project planning.

    Grab and drag with eraserOpen

    So you know how when you have a marker equiped? You can grab the board and move around. It would be nice if I can do that with the eraser because when I want to erase something specific, I have to click esc and then re-equiped the eraser. And it would be cool if you guys could see to it! :D (Basicially add a right click drag like marker)

    Shortcut creationOpen

    As becoming what we usually call a power user in interface and product design I am now waiting for a broader range of shortcuts to supercharge my workshop preparation process. For example, aligning components is an action I do so many times a day and saving time even on that would feel great.I know that there is know an align feature but still keyboard shortcut are faster...I know that Mac allows to create shortcut for any app. Do you think it would be possible to make this available? Thanks

    Pull Planning Sticky note StacksOpen

    Is it possible to make custom Sticky Note Stacks?  For Pull Planning it would be great to have different stacks for different companies which each stack that already had a template of text on it.  Pull planning usually requires a Commitment, a Need, and a Duration.

    Allow Frames to "Attach" to a gridOpen

    Allow frames to work with the grid. So that once a frame is within the Grid, if you manipulate the grid the frame will shift with it. Images and other components shift along with the grid. but frames do not.

    Rotation: Show degree° and make rotation more granularOpen

    rotation is shifting at something like 5-10degrees per cursor movement, it would be cool to (A) make that more granular and (B) have a little guage beside the cursor or at the apex of the object to show the angle it is at.

    Flip a shape horizontally (Mirror feature)Open

    Hi,  I was wondering if it’s possible to flip a shape or group of shapes horizontally? (also called Mirror) This feature is very handy in other drawing / vector tool.   Miro is an amazing tool, keep up the good work! Best, Julien

    Frame border color changeOpen

    While using Frames (which have transparent backgrounds) on a surface with a dark background, Frame borders and title are partially visible/readable (or not at all) so a “Frame border color change” functionality would be a perfect solution!Currently my workaround is to create a Shape (transparent background and white border) + text box with white text color. Together they “pose” as a frame but it’s not the same as an actual Frame.Cheers!

    Shapes need a dynamic acute triangleOpen

    Shapes include only an isoceles triangle (two equal sides) and no acute triangle (one 90 degree angle). An acute triange would be most useful.not requiring that I always stitch together three lines. As a provided shape, then I could manipulate it the same way I do other shapes (fill it with color) which cannot be done with three grouped lines.

    Set default Sticky Note sizeOpen

    I prefer to work with the wider sticky AND I like to stick to using the S size. I would love to be able to set the default to that.  I'm guessing that the negative effect could be that someone is so zoomed out when they add a sticky to the board that they can't see it. On the other hand, as a facilitator, it allows me to give the participants some “rails”.

    Color Palette ManagementDelivered

    I would absolutely love a robust color management tool set. It’s too easy to lose palettes and brand standards in the current dot matrix. Swatches from the Adobe CC Suite are a great starting reference point. A double wish-list item would be to integrate with a service like Coolors that can generate palettes based on primary or secondary colors, to quickly iterate off brand hex values. Here are some possibilities Collapsible navigation Drag and Drop Re-Ordering Palette Export / Import Search engine that allows searching by mood, brand or keyword Palette generation and color locking feature I took a few minutes and drafted a mock-up inside Miro to get the point across. Would be curious what ideas others have. Feel free to copy / paste and add on to the starting point below, just re-lock my shapes when you’re done and add your name and date in the frame to serve as a timestamp. Excited to see what the community comes up with!

    Admin account without licenseOpen

    As an administrator, I don't need a license to manage the users and licenses. I think it very strange that MIRO does not have this function. Now we can only assign one admin users, a general account (witch is not safe and wishful for a company) because every account needs a license and it is kind of stupid to pay for multiple license for admin users that don't even use MIRO it self. If also the admin want to use Miro, then of course you should be able to assign a license yourself. A good process would would be to have a button that says, create admin users without license or to use the “add user” and then as next step, decide to add a license or not and then select a role for that user (member or admin)

    Please fix the Education Plan renewal linkOpen

    In the forum a large number of Education Plan users are seeking assistance in renewing their Education Plan - and that already for months (or evne years?) - as notification emails regarding license expiration and renewal contain a link that leads to an error page and the process terminates there.I also had this problem. I love Miro, but I felt rarely helpless and began to wonder if the error might be intentional as it seems to exist for so long already.

    Full integration with Monday.com and Asana or any other project management toolOpen

    Hi Team,I watched a couple video about the integration between Jira and Azure and I wish we could do the same thing for Monday.com and Asana (and any similar project management tools). The idea is if we already set up a nice project plan on these tools, we can simple import/sync it to Miro.At the moment we can only add tasks from these tools into Miro as Card and then sync them in a Table to have a similar look - Yes, there are certain integrations that we can do, but not fully.What I’m expecting is to simply import a whole project from Monday.com/Asana into Miro, not just tasks as cards. Furthermore, when we sync these projects into Miro Table, and when we add new column - either it syncs and add the new column into Monday/Asana (preferable), or it should segregate and still work on Miro (at the moment you can’t really do it as it will show integration issues)See below screenshot for example: Column “Category” was added with the following options, and when trying to update the column, it showed the below error:

    Custom information held per shape/line within a boardOpen

    So there are several ideas posted similar to this one such as notes on mind maps, and automating the use of metadata, but the way I read them they are fairly rich features toward a specific use case. They take the idea of metadata within a board much further than I’m thinking.Metadata on shapes and lines is something I can see being used in many cases from sprint planning and business process design, to engineering/architectural design. Essentially a key/value store for shape metadata. Idea: Allow us to create custom fields of metadata on board objects such as shapes and lines, building upon the shape Info feature that already uses metadata to track the creation and mofication info. An example would be when I draw floor plans, I would use the metadata to record (a) information like the ceiling height (stud) or elevation of a feature on a wall that Miro can’t depict visually as its predominantly 2D orientated and (b) to tag the shape/line with information like the material class and type e.g. Timber H1.2. Of course once the meta data is in there people are naturally going to want to get it out again, this would be a natural fit to the existing CSV board export feature in Miro.The other likely next step people would want is a field manager to control what metadata fields exist on the board objects. Personally I would leave this to stand on its own two feet as a separate idea/feature. For example auto-complete when adding a field name to a shape, using existing field names on other objects, could be a solution instead of a management UI like what we use today to manage layers.

    Preserve the prompt history when using create with AIOpen

     It is important to keep the prompt conversation history with the artifact that was created so later on one can re-use it or build on it when needed.In absence of a reference prompt, a starting point if you will,  the content will merely appear as black magic as they didn’t create it.

    Split screen to allow focus on two areas at a timeOpen

    I’d like to be able to split the whiteboard so that I can focus in on two seperate parts at the same time. For example focus in on the details of stickie notes in an area of the board while I summarise them on a different area of the board

    Managing layers as heirachy or nestedOpen

    Love that Miro added the layers functionality a while back so that we can use the Z axis more than simply overlaying shapes/frames which would get ugly fast. Maybe one day Miro will extend from the 2D to finding a way to showing elevations / 3 dimensional views. Context: I use Miro to draw floor plans, an area I think Miro can be a serious tool in vs traditional CAD design in engineering and architecure. It allows things that CAD struggle with like 1:1 scale drawings of any scale, co-editing/sharing, flexibilty in shapes/design elements, versioning & commenting, and the ability to overlay detail.Idea: Create a hierarchy or nesting of layers so that I can hide or lock a group of layers in one go, and it provides context for the layers within the heirarchy e.g. these are all related to level 1 vs 2.

    Wish list: Show object dimensions on any corner of objectOpen

    Currently an object will show its dimensions when you hover over the bottom right corner. But for long objects that go off screen it makes it hard to use.Could you show the obect dimensions when you hover over any corner, potentially could limit it to objects where the bottom right corner is not on screen?
