    Roadmap planning template custom quartersOpen

    I’d like the ability to customize the dates of my quarters in this template.  Our Q1 begins April 1 and there is no way to modify the quarter view on this template.

    Timeline or Roadmap multiple item selection to change colourOpen

    Situation:  I have an extensive Roadmap, and I originally had the default yellow colour selected, thinking I could do a bulk select and change the colour the way it’s possible to do with regular Stickies (alas, this was not the case 🙄.Request:  Please make available the wonderful features applicable to general Stickies in roadmaps or timelines. (Sorry, that’s a bigger request than simply a multi-select change colour). Hope:  I hope related items, like the bulk movement of items, ability to change the connector lines from curved to corner/ square style and even change the colour of the lines will match the preferences associated with Stickies. Note:  I’ve noticed that multi-select can happen in table view and colours of the items can be determined by group definitions (really cool!).  However, the I’m talking about default colour which can be overwritten when groups are selected.

    Timeline or Roadmap lock to canvas but edit contentsOpen

    Hi.  I’ve just discovered the Timeline/ Roadmap widget and I love it!  It is annoying how the whole roadmap constantly moves around the canvas.  I appreciate Focus view stops that from happening however it removes the beauty of zooming in and out on the canvas.  Please allow for the frame of the Timeline widget to be locked while still allowing participants of the board to edit the contents.  It would also be nice to have the option of a ctrl-A, lock all objects from being edited if the board owner requires that to be the case.

    Display more Jira fields as columns when dragging a Jira card in a tableOpen

    At the moment, only 5 fields are displayed in a table when dragging a Jira card into a table.It would be way more useful to display more native and custom fields. My expectation was to see all fields from the Jira card, even if I can’t edit them in the table and sync in Jira.In the beginning, it would be good to just be able to display the information and edit just from Jira.This works for items you want to bring from Jira and add additional Miro fields and edit only the Miro fields.Of course, it would be ideal to be able to edit all Jira fields, but it’s a good start to be able to display them as columns in table, without syncing.

    Move text label for a BPMN object (e.g. decision)Open

    It’s incredibly frustrating to not have any control over object label location in the BPMN 2.0 object set.For the same reasons raised in the post linked above.Please could this functionality be extended? It feels like a breaking feature - especially when most other BPMN software seems to have labels at top by default - it’s basic logic in the sense that process diagrams will run left to right and typically top to bottom if they’re not too complex. Statistically it’s more likely to want a connector running off the bottom of the icon than the top.  As queried by @Peter Casey https://community.miro.com/ask-the-community-45/can-you-move-text-for-a-bpmn-object-e-g-decision-13386To quote Peter: Sometimes I want the text to be inside the shape, or to the right, so that a connector can descend down from the shape without overlapping the text.Like thisThe best I can do seems to be to right align the text.which is still pretty ugly.Workaround is to add text not attached to the object.  Kinda lame but works.

    As a PM I’m using VS Code to write features and stories. I would like to export the text as .md files and import them as cards in Miro to plan the next sprint together with the team. Even better via copy / paste.

    Miro Planner - Expand all buttonOpen

    Hello,I have been using the Miro Planner a lot, thanks for that!However, when the Planner is populated with a lot of Jira cards, depending on the amount of text included in the card these will display collapsed (see screenshot). Can an “Expand all” button be added so that we do not need to click on the expand downward arrow for each of the cards individually? Thank you.Best regards,Daniel

    Product suggestion: optional timed reversion from shape recognition to penOpen

    I wanted to share a product suggestion based on long-term, daily use of Miro’s whiteboard.The shape recognition in the drawing tool is genuinely excellent and works very well when sketching diagrams. The issue I’ve consistently encountered over several years is what happens immediately afterward. Once shapes are recognised, the tool remains in that mode. When I then try to write regular letters or numbers, they are often converted into lines, circles, etc. This happens multiple times per session, interrupting the flow.At that point, I have to erase or undo the drawing and then manually reselect the pen tool. In live sessions, this creates a frustrating experience—not just for me, but also for the client or student on the other end—because it breaks continuity and focus.I want to suggest a simple, optional improvement:Introduce a user-configurable timer (for example, 10–15 seconds) after which the drawing mode automatically reverts to the standard pen. This would: Preserve the strength of shape recognition Eliminate the need for constant manual tool switching, including undo and erasure Support fast, continuous thinking, teaching, and collaboration Importantly, this should be an opt-in setting, so users who prefer persistent shape mode aren’t affected.This is a small interaction change with a meaningful impact for a large number of users. I’m sharing it in the spirit of improving an already excellent product that many people rely on daily.

    Smart Objects/Frames That Can Be Duplicated/ClonedOpen

    It would be awesome if we could duplicate a group of objects (or a frame), where if you altered one, then all the clones or duplicates of that itemed updated also.For example if I am wireframing a website and I want to have a section of the web page that is the same on every page view, I could create a “smart object” that I could duplicate a number of times in the board. Then if I want to make an edit to all of the smart objects, at the same time, I edit one and they all update to the new version.A bit like the building blocks feature, but editable in the board.

    Add font formatting features to TablesOpen

    Hi there, it would be of great use if you added the text editing options to the tables (like font colour, size, bold, italic etc) and opportunity to select the cells by dragging the mouse with/without pressing shift. And some other flexibility formatting-wise like in Excel. Thanks!

    Please allow us to be able to change shortcuts. it would be a life saver and time saver. For instance I want to use my pen. clicking p to equipt pen is so far away and I use ctr z a lot so it would be nice to change pen shortcut to like c or something close to z.

    I would love to see a feature where tags can be pre-assigned to specific Sticky Note stacks. This way, whenever a Sticky Note is pulled from stack X, it automatically receives tag X.

    Jira Intregation : Cascading FieldsOpen

    Hello,   Today, the Jira-Miro integration is not able to handle this kind of Jira Cascading-Type fields: When such a field is present for an issue type, the Miro integration does not show the field at all in the integration.  It’s a problem when this field is mandatory in Jira because when creating an issue in Jira via the Miro integration, Jira blocks the creation as it does not have all the required fields. Showing the following error message: ⚠️ Client error (400 BAD_REQUEST) occurred while executing Jira API for instance: {JIRA URL}, TEAM: {ID}. Response body: {"issues":[],"errors":[{"status":400,"elementErrors":{"errorMessages":[]},"errors":{"customfield_28606":"Domains is required."}}],"failedElementNumber":0}]} If such a field type is present for the main issue types, it completely breaks the integration.

    Customise non-working day shading on Intelligent roadmap templateOpen

    I’m a big fan of the Miro roadmap template and the ability to toggle between Table, Timeline, and Kanban views using the same database. However, I’d like to suggest an improvement for the Timeline layout: the ability to customise non-working day shading.Currently, I work on an alternating 4-day and 5-day week pattern. It would be incredibly helpful to shade these specific 'off-days' as well as holiday allowance (similar to how weekends are displayed) to distinguish them from active workdays. My current workaround-adding holidays as separate tasks-clutters the board and the tasks often get lost when scrolling through large projects. Having a native way to define working vs. non-working days would make resource planning much clearer

    Public Link password expiration minimum time limitOpen

    We allow our users to share their boards externally using public links protected by passwords. At present the minimum time limit for a link is 30 days. When the user shares a link and has a collaboration workshop our users have to remember to disable the link after otherwise the link is active for 30 days. We have some internal guidance that advises that is what they should do but of course not everyone remembers to disable them.  We would like this minimum link activation limit reduced to 1 day. Is there a technical restriction as to why this can’t be done?

    Connection between the new LAYERS feature and FRAMESOpen

     I’m delighted to be using the new LAYERS feature.It seems as though, that the use of LAYERS break the connection between an object and the FRAME it is in. I.e If there are objects in "FRAME  A" , which is on the BACKGROUND LAYER  (I think all frames are always on the background layer) and if I then move some of those obejects to a new layer called DETAILED LAYER, when I try to move FRAME A to another area on the canvas, only the objects in FRAME A which are still in the original BACKGROUND LAYER (because I didn’t move them to DETAILED LAYER), still move with the FRAME A.  So it looks as though when you move an object to another layer, it breaks the connection with the FRAME it is in.I have found a work around in that if I SELECT the FRAME A and ALL objects within it, I can then move that selection. But its extra work as I have to lock any envelopping frame (to avoid it being selected) and then be sure to select every object within FRAME A. I think that this slightly goes against the purpose of having frames. (please correct me if I’m wrong?)  I will still use layers with this work around. But it would be GRAND if using layers didn't break frame attachments. (like in Adobe Illustrator - art boards still move objects regardless of which layer those objects are in. Of course I appreciate that that Adobe Illustrator is specifically for graphic design and so I don’t expect the same functionality! It’s just a useful comparison for this specific idea).Thank you and please let me know if for some reason it doesn’t make sense.

    Want to be able to move, pin or hide the floating editing toolbarOpen

    When you select an item from the left side tool bar, like a sticky note, an editing tool bar appears almost directly over the are you are working on and usually overlays on what you are working on. It would be good to hide this edit tool bar when you click into the item, or be able to hide the tool bar using a right click as a toggle, or being able to just move and pin it away from the area you are working on.

    Comments ID number, and exportOpen

    It would be super useful if the comments were numbered.Adding comments to the pdf export is already a separate wish item - but it would also be improved by this idea.So for example, instead of a comment badge just showing “P” it might show “P4” (with the number as a suffix).  This would also make it easier to see which comments belongs where in the Comments view, as well as with export.Thus, exporting comments would be like a set of endnotes in an article.

    Bug Fix - copy/paste of markdown multiline code blocks are formatted as single line blocksOpen

    When pasting markdown in a miro doc on a miro board, the code blocks are always formatted as inline code (eg as if it was ``) instead of code blocks (fenced blocks ```). It be great if it could parse and paste those correctly saving me the time to go back and have to re-format it myself.For context, I use this to paste notes from cursor into miro, so it's a key part of my workflow, and it's adding a lot of drag.to reproduce  copy the content of a markdon file - example here and in screenshot---- # HelloWorld```typescriptfunction helloWorld() {return "Hello World";}```----  When you paste into a document in miro and it shows as inline code and not a code block - see other screenshot here.ideally it would look like this instead To clarify - this issue is when copying the rendered markdown preview in cursor (as a way to keep the formatting) - if copy the raw markdown file then it just pastes the raw markdown text without formatting.

    Ability to manage and delete personal SidekicksOpen

    DescriptionI would like the ability to fully manage my personal Sidekicks — especially to delete those I no longer need.At the moment, on Business plans, personal Sidekicks can be created and used, but there is no option to delete or manage them afterwards. The Sidekick management module is not available on Business plans, and centralized management is currently limited to Education and Enterprise tiers during the beta phase.Having a simple way to manage (rename, archive, delete) personal Sidekicks would help users keep their workspace clean and organized, especially when experimenting with Sidekick creation.Why it matters Keeps the toolbox clean and relevant Avoids clutter when testing new Sidekicks Aligns Business plans with user expectations for basic personal asset management Improves overall user experience and governance RequestPlease consider adding the option to delete and manage personal Sidekicks directly from the Sidekick menu.Thank you!

    Using checkbox with single clickOpen

    I am trying to use check boxes in Miro. Currently I need to right click on the check box and then click to tick or not. So it means two clicks in order to use the check box and it is not convenient. Can you please improve it by using checkbox with one click. This problem is also exists in radio button, on/off switches also

    Export to SVGOpen

    If you want to export a piece of board to insert it, let’s say, in a PowerPoint file, the jpeg or the pdf doesn’t look right. However, if we an export to a SVG, it look perfect and it’s pretty easy to make it fir nicely.So, it would be great to have the opportunity to export to not only to JPG but also to SVG

    Bulk delete empty boardsOpen

    I have to spend hours opening up boards one by one to see if they are empty and safe to delete.  I should be able to see if boards are empty from the dashboard without having to open them one by one.
