PDF is limited - using variables and having some type of Header/Footer control essential. Also, if I HIDE a frame, it should not be part of PRINT or PDF!While the key is not to print, we need better control on global page settings for the PDF file.
Hello all,It is often difficult for our users to set the right settings for sharing a board. And often they end up calling support to check if they have set the right settings. It would be much easier if there was a button "People who can view", where you can get an overview of all participants of the board and which links (embed or sahreing) are active. I know this option from Confluence and there it is very helpful to see which people can see the page without looking in the team member list etc.
In UML state machine, often we write activity within a state. I currently use “interface” component (since I don’t find “state” component in miro). At t\his point arrow can connect interface box with another interface box. However it does not allow us setting arrow destination to itself arrow starts. When changing box size, not connecting to itself requires excess arrow destination reset operation.
I want to be able to treat each entity (sticky, etc.) as a reusabable object and reuse that to create multiple variants of a diagram. When I update a property like a label on one, it affects all. On the same token would be the ability to manage custom types and templates.
My issue: I am conducting multiple interviews or creativity sessions with different people.During the sessions I am taking notes on sticky notes and I sometimes also use connecton lines etc. To analyze everything, I need to copy all stickies together but i need to tag them to be able to identify which input is from which source.Currently, I have to select each sticky individually, since when I also select the connecting lines, I cannot put tags on the stickies anymore. That takes a lot of time to do. :-(Idea: enable tags on stickies when other shapes are also selected.
This request emerges from images that are already cropped using an image mask. After one image mask is prepared and another instance is created, it would be super helpful to allow for Shift to maintain orthogonal movement so the alignment can remain consistent (the dimensions are already consistent as it’s using the copied mask as a starting point). Happy to provide a gif if this write-up is more confusing than informative. Thanks!
When in a voting session, it would be better to hide cursors by default during the voting session for all users to allow for an anonymous voting session. For some of our meetings, a single user shares their screen showing the board as we discuss and that user does not participate in the voting session. During that voting session, as all cursors are visible it is clear how people are voting, creating a bias toward voting outcomes.
A VP recently asked me if I could export audit history for a specific grouping of sticky notes on a Miro board. They wanted to use the information to highlight how different groups of people felt/thought differently about a topic. I was unable to find a way (other than manually reviewing and documenting) to gather that information. It would be helpful if we could export the board history to .csv, or gather this sort of information in another way.
i'd like to use a custom music for periods where all people are working on a board for a time that is determined by the timer.uploading e.g. the jeopardy-theme mp3 would make stuff much more fun than these boring songs. see also:
The miro slack app already highlights changes in the board by posting the updates to slack. While somewhat useful, it’s very limited and forces a context switch as you cannot reply and have to go back to the board, find the conversation and reply there. This "notification only" approach would be much more useful if I could just "reply in thread" directly in slack and have that posted back to the board. This would prevent a context switch and expose the full conversation to the slack app making it more useful and extending its reach.
Hello! When planning with Miro, we would like to visualize our tasks on a roadmap but instead of expanding cards manually, it’s size would be adjusted based on dates Using the Gantt template, it already has the start and end date info, however, the card size and position are complete manual Another idea that I saw on this https://community.miro.com/ideas/smart-timeline-or-date-smart-line-function-4916 and found it interesting, is to have a “today date” vertical line. I believe it could looks like something similar to this (today line and card size automatically changing).
Comments usually ends up concluding a design, development, product or management decision. Finding the decisions or missing unresolved issues among the “chatter” can be a pain. Having comments pushed towards something like a Kanban board would be useful to quickly see what needs feedback on or has been resolved.Created comments In Progress (as soon as someone reponds) Resolved (once comments are switched to resolve).BonusPossible swimlanes for users (participants in discussions). Ability to send “resolved comment” to JIRA/Project management tool of choice
I’d like to see the total time I’ve allocated adding up as I’m planning a meeting/workshop using Meeting Beta. (something like what I’ve mocked up at the bottom of the image)One step further would be to set a meeting time cap: e.g. 2hrs, and as you add time against each frame it shows you how much time you have remaining left to allocate.
A user is facing issue with palm rejection when using non-Apple pencil with iPad. When he starts writing with the pencil and then put the palm, it works fine. However, if he places the palm on the iPad and then try to write, the pencil will not draw until the palm is raised.
Video conferencing idea … check out wonder.me …. it would be so cool to have this on top of a miro board … that way participants can walk around the board and open up discussions with people on similar topics.
When commenting on a sticky, I would prefer the comment icon to not be dead center because it makes the sticky contents hard to read. Maybe place it around the corners. Instead of being able to easily comment on a sticky by right-clicking on it and selecting comment, I have to access the Comment tool from the toolbar. Comment icon placed at the center:This is the default icon placement when selecting comment from the sticky settings Comment icon placed in the corner:To do this, I have to select the comment tool
