Hi, It would be great to have an option to add a header/section between frames, so that we can arrange them logically. For example, I want to separate my frames in to Day 1 , Day 2, Day 3 and i can add below corresponding frames accordingly :) , that will help us in better orginisation of the Frames, rather then having them like a single pile :)
It is not intuitive at all to navigate to Settings > Board > Star this board. I would expect this setting on the common toolbar or somewhere that only takes a single click. I am an editor or viewer to 150+ boards and I want quick access to favorite boards. It would also be nice to expand the star by adding category or tags to make finding/sorting easier.
The ‘Whats New’ meeting today got me thinking that while I am the main facilitator there are times when I have a SME come in and present information and instead of them talking then saying ‘Ok Adam move to the next frame,’ they would be assigned rights on that frame to move the presentation along however they want. You could also have someone mocking something up as conversations evolve and could assign the main view to them to then bring the team over look at the thing and then assign it back to the host. This could make the presentation so much smoother by not needing to drop the view, have the next person log in and share, then repeat the process to get back to me. It could also prevent the ‘oh sorry go back a frame’ or any other flow disruptions
I would like to take existing PPT decks and import them into Miro as frames for a presentation.
...appearing on the right side of the board (like the board note) when an object is selected. These would be really powerful in providing more information while keeping the board clean. Background: I've been using MindManager extensively for over 20 years and the branch notes (along with the ability to link directly to local files) are one of the features for me that make me prefer a MindManager map to a Miro board for certain use cases (e.g. developing concepts or personal knowledge management).PS: It's not about comments, these are a different use case. It's more like the description field on cards.
Scenario: 60+ users working in groups on one board where each group have locked objectsRight clicking on the board, Unlock all is directly under Paste which makes it too easy for new users to accidentally click on it, unlocking locked (for a reason) objects for all groups Right clicking on an object, Unlock all is directly under Unlock and directly above Bring to front with the same effect as above.Suggested solutions:Add confirmation “This will unlock every item on the board except those that are locked with Owner lock” Move Unlock all option so it cannot be clicked involuntarily Not a solution: manage co-owner access for each group “lead” each locking with owner lock. Reason is these people also do mistakes of unlocking/moving/deleting critical items
If we do meetings on Miro, why dont we have little avatars near our names, with prview form a video from our camera, screen we share, role we have in the meeting or even little pet near our avatar :) ?Imagine we can place our little avatars somewhere in the Miro while we talk. - We would not have to switch between widnows Imagine I can placemy presentation shared screen on the place where all participans meet. - We would not have to swith window so see what he presentsI use google meet - it would have to be integration with it and others - or you do your own Miro meetings instead
Shape Editing: It’d be great to be able to edit the shape points/curvature - similarly to that of MS PowerPointShape Text: Sometimes the textbox option just isn’t quite what you need - but the text editing functionality of the text box is!! It’d be great to be able to get the same functionality from the shape toolbar - i.e. bullet points, numbering etc
Hi I did Jovonee King’s recent webinar on “Miro for the Workshop Leader”. It was really interesting and the frames Jovonee used were great. Can this board be made a template for us to use instead of having to duplicate from scratch? That would be amazing!! PUBLIC LINK | Miro Workshop Leader, Online Whiteboard for Visual Collaboration
Hi everyone!I hope you are well.i would like to create a integration in my MIRO board and write comments in the correct stickers i have in the board via API REST. Right now, this feature in the API is not enable. In a soon future it will be possible?? I would like to know if the developement departem has this project in study…Thank you in advance!
Make it possible that multiple people are able to edit templates
Every time I drag out a rectangle or a shape, I need to set the fill colour to white, reduce the border thickness by 1pt, set the shape font text to Arial, and I have to keep doing this each time I start a new board or drag a new shape. It would be great to set the default style for a shape once I configure it so that each time I drag out a rectangle or other shape, the default style is what I had set it to be. Thank you.
Hi,I hope you are well. I was looking in to the Miro Shortcuts (Settings > Shortcuts), and just noticed, that Send to Back shortcut is missing from the list of General Shortcuts.I believe if someone want to know about send to front, and he would also like to know shortcut to send to back. fn + ↓:) IHMO it’s worth mentioning in the Menu. Send the shape back and bring to front - click the three dots on the context menu and choose an option. Or use shortcuts Pg Up and Pg Dn (for Windows)/fn + ↑ and fn + ↓ (for Mac).ThanksRegardsAman
Hi all,I had to reach out to the excellent support team of Miro to get my head wrapped around the functionality of the payments user interface. Even with the hints given me by the member of support, I had to “click around” quite a while until I understood the functionality. My problem was that I — as a new user of Miro’s payment interface — wanted to make a payment of a due invoice, but I was confused by being greeted with a Stripe credit card payment screen, simply not realising the button “Bank transfer” at the right of the “Card” button. Additionally, I even had to “click around” on this page to find out that the document logo with the down arrow in the bottom right corner is producing the PDF for download with all the payment information included for bank transfer. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d suggest making a clear difference between using Stripe with credit card as a payment option versus a clear visual representation of a download option for an invoice with clear signs of being able to use bank transfer.Kind regards and keep up the excellent work,Matthias
In Miro it is possible to place objects inside table cells. The objects can be extended beyond the cell border by pressing the Ctrl button and extending the object simultaneously. However after the object has been extended, the cell width CANNOT be reduced while it CAN be expanded. It would be nice if table cells are "shrinkable" after an object inside the cell has been extended beyond the cell border.I ran into this problem when creating schedule charts in Miro.
I would like that when we were running dynamics/workshop on the timer , we had the option to put a blur effect on the writing of the post-its. Beyond that, put blur in the mouse/name of participants.
Hey Miro-cle team! Before I get to my request let me just say that I just LOVE that tags exist and that I can use them to organise crazy amounts of data, thank you!My request is for a more complex/advanced clustering for tags, my use case is qualitative data analysis and my request is for advanced clustering to be able to synthesize data more efficiently. There are three solutions for what I need that I can see, however it’s very possible there are many more ;) :Multi-tag similarities: at the moment when clustering by tag the same sticky will appear on the named cluster for each of the tags that exist on the board - which is great for some analyses, so definitely would be good to keep. However I would also really like an option to remove sticky duplication - a single sticky appears in a single cluster. That would mean a more complex clustering algo, but it would be great that the clusters could be created based on how many tags the stickies have in common, not just IF they have a single tag in common. Layered clusters: This is a different option that I would be really happy, although would also be great to have a way to toggle between stickies getting duplicated/not. After the first round of clustering (with either duplicated/not stickies) it would be great if I could single out one of the clusters and cluster again within it. Is its sort of possible right now, but I would like the new baby-clusters to stay within the boundaries of the first one, so it’s easier to keep track of their hierarchy. Hierarchical tags: If the tags could be structured to have layers, this could make it easier for clustering algo how to put them together. Having tags groups OR tags & sub tags would be really useful. For example if I had a tag group called “navigation” by tags within that group could be “hamburger menu”, “home button” etc. And then when clustering there would be obvious layers to cluster by.I would deliriously happy if either of the three was implemented :D Hope this makes sense, happy to give more detail on my thinking if useful :) Thanks!J.
