Add date and/or time stamps

Hi,

I like the concept of the note panel; I would like to try using it as an ongoing place to record meeting notes. To do this, I would need to enter a time/date stamp at each meeting’s section heading.

Another option I use all the time in Quip is using an @ mention. I can write, @today,  @tommorow, @specificdate, or @date (and a date picker will come up).

Thanks,

Marc

A quick note on creating a date/time stamp in

  1. Excel: Press Ctrl+; then spacebar, and then Ctrl+Shift+; (results in: 2022-04-25 11:14 AM)
  2. Google Sheets: Ctrl+Shift+Alt+; (results in: 4/25/2022 11:14:51)

There may be other shortcuts, but those are the ones I know and use right now.

I like the @-mention idea! Very simple and intuitive (in terms of shortcuts at least).

This is something I actually run into a lot -- I have to manually type my

“last modified, date/time” as copy. It would be really nice to be able to add it as a “time stamp.”
