Hello, despite using the updated version of Smart Meetings beta, it is not possible for me to let visitors add their names. The option field does not appear. We are using the educational plan where it is stated to be included. Can someone please help me out or explain why this is happening?

Is it possible to add automatically the name of the author to a sticky note? That way, working and brainstorming with group of people I (we all) can directly see who posted which notes.

I wrote "Test"on the red post-it, but it shows "Uftu"Hi there! I just got a new Macbook and when i opened miro, got scared with what i saw. The words are shuffled, looking like they're encrypted. It's funny because not all labels are affected. Buttons, links, descriptions doesn't work properly. At the board, texts on post-its are shuffled too. It's happening on Miro via browser and Miro app also.Does anyone has ever saw something like this? Please help me! Ps. it's not a virus, I scanned the mac (that is brand new), and it's only happening on Miro.

Hi, Is it possible to resize sticky notes, not in ratio? ie I’d like to make them wider but not taller - currently it only lets me make the slightly wider, but then stops.I imagine the response will be to utilise shapes, but I need to use the tagging feature as well, which rules out shapes I think?THanks,Heidi

I’m using the free version on the Windows app. I’m a newbie.When I click export the board, then Save to Google Drive I get “Please authorize your account.” How do I fix this?

It seems to be a no-brainer - just paste the URL to the board and you will have the LinkedIn profile thumbnail show up.This just doesn’t work for me. Anybody else experiencing problems?Please help me do the trick,Thanks

Can someone explain how to get the hover text to work on toolbar items?  It works for other applications just not on any of my Miro Boards.

I’m just getting started with Miro on Windows. Where is the text, sticky notes, etc. saved?

Firefox has a build-in password generator and manager.On the Sing-Up page the generator is not available.When Sign-in the password manager does not recognize the password field, and does not offer a saving it. Advantages would be:-Encourages stronger passwords-Better Phishing protection

I recently registered at Miro Board as an educator. I am having a problem with the link when I connect the sticky note the size is two then even if I increase the size and the direction does not appear. Can anyone assist me? 

Hi, How do I change language on my Miro? I get marks on basically all words since it seems like the language is set on Swedish, and I am writing in English. I would still like to have the spell check function, but I want it for English and not Swedish. I’ve looked in the settings but can’t find anything there.  

Hi It would be nice if I could access the MiroVersity videos from within Miro (E.g by clicking The Learning Center Academy Hat icon).I saw some sessions announced in this week that I could not attend.If they are recorded, I would like to see them.I do not want to do an extra registration at the miroversity website to find out the sessions are closed and I can not get the content.Please advice.Best rgdsChristian

Last week I upgraded to a paid Starter plan and the collaborators I had working on time-sensitive projects across 3 boards are now alerting me that they cannot edit the boards anymore. I have checked their status and that of the boards. - and have even received an email saying I have 12 active guests that can edit (but they cannot). What’s going on? Do I need to delete them from the board and then send a public link so they are a “visitor” - is this the proper way to share a board with a collaborator without making them a paid team member?Am I forced to upgrade to Business so they can edit the boards once again as a “Guest”?What is the difference between a Guest and a Visitor?  Does a board being “public” or “private” make any difference in this issue?At what point will I be forced to make Guests or Visitors paid Team Members? Lots of question and all the articles, emails and pop-up boxes on the platform contradict one another and confuse me.

I had an idea just right now and I would like to share it with you. I was looking for a way to show the progression in a workshop in order to create a sens of achievement for the team but I could find a simple tool. So I thought it could be nice to have this kind of feature to encourage people to stay focus and go further. What do you think ?

When I put the words on the board bold, they stay bold while I am in that text box. But, as soon as I unselect that text box, those words stop being bold. It’s driving me crazy 😅 can someone help, please? Thank you!

Does anyone know if you can switch off Auto Layout? This feature is very limiting to creativity.I have had no choice but to use other software for a complex mind map because everything kept moving. Stupendously annoying. 

I’ve been working a lot with 3D and realized that there is a neat feature that could help me when doing some light financial modeling, and that is a Math nodes.I’m wondering if that’s something that already exists or is in the works to come to Miro at any point. When I mean Math node I’m referring to a container with a value that's linked to a node which allows for two or more inputs with a function and a output. Imagine having:input container 1 = Value 1000input container 2 = Value 54Linked in to a node that is set to multiplywith a output value to 54,000  Thanks   

Hi!  I moved my boards to a new team.  When I look at the board history, I only see versions since I moved the board.  Looks like the versions from the old team are not brought along to the new team.  I do see tons of old activity though.   Is there a way to access them. We are on a paid team plan. 

Never Mind: Looks like I can add lines by clicking the arrow tool and add them to any parts of the shape and they will connect.  Original Post: Hello, I have just started using Miro, its just what I was looking for and I love all the templates  but as I am following along through the tutorials I have noticed something different in the iPad version and I am not sure if it is a bug. ISSUE: When you click a shape, according to the tutorial you can click a blue dot to link it to another shape and in the tutorial the shapes have blue dots on every side to allow for multiple connections. On the iPad however there is only one blue dot at the bottom of the shapes. Thats it, so I can only connect to another shape from that one starting point which is a bit problematic. Is this intentional?
