Moving swimlanes in BPMN diagrams: inconsistent behavior

Using swimlanes in BPMN diagrams leads to a two-fold inconsistencies which I could not resolve:

1. Some BPMN objects are connected to the swimlane some not. This means that some objects are moving with the moving swimlane some not. What’s the reason?
2. I’m using heavily the linking feature between objects in the board. However, sometimes the little blue arrow gets very very small sometimes not. This is 1:1 related with the behavior described in 1).

Any hint how to resolve these issues? Bernhard
