Start and End Dates on Cards Populating Incorrectly

Forum|alt.badge.img

Is anyone else experiencing this frustrating issue? When I click on a card to add a Start/End Date, the date that populates on the card is the day before the date I click. For example, I would like an End Date of 03/10/2025 on a task/card, so I click that specific date, but “03/09/2025” is what displays on the card. This is a very obnoxious glitch. I don’t see that it’s been reported or is being currently worked on, according the status page, everything is supposedly functioning properly - this is not the case. Please assist!

HI @Justine O'Brien-Kremer,

Thanks for reaching out! I’d love to help clarify what might be happening.

Just to confirm, are you using the Card tool in Miro (as shown in the screenshot below), or could it be another tool, like the Timeline or Planner (Program Board)? Some tools handle dates differently, so identifying the specific one can help troubleshoot more effectively.

If possible, could you share a short screen recording of the issue in action? That will help determine if this is a bug or a settings-related issue. Looking forward to your response!

Hi,

I have the same issue.

  • I am using the Card (Organise and assign work) tool from your screenshot.
  • I am located in the UTC-5 time zone (EST) and it is currently 9AM (the time at which I am selecting the date).
  • I selected the date “March 24” and it displays “March 23”.
  • My display language is French.

Here are two screenshots of the issue:

Selecting a date shows the previous day’s date. I can provide a short gif of the behaviour via email.

3 days ago, I selected the date “March 24” on another card, and it display correctly today. I believe I selected it while working in the afternoon.

Hope this info will prove useful.

Same issue. It’s populating the previous date from the one I choose.

This is happening in my Miro instance as well. Has anyone heard any updates from Miro about this?
