Question

Which Enterprise account is logging me off every day?

I've looked around and found no answer for this specific question.

I understand that enterprise accounts have different security features.

But I right now, my account is linked into a bunch of different enterprise accounts (as a consultant, this is common) and one (could be more?) of them has the automatic sign-off to every day.

I get why they do it.
But it affects me too.

I'd love to just exit that workspace/enterprise account.

But since I don't know which of them does it, I can't.

Request/Ask

If I could at least know which enterprise account is cascading this setting to MY own Miro, I'd just leave it.

Is there any way I can figure this out?

Thank you very much

João

Unfortunately, there is no way I am aware of for you to determine which Enterprise subscription is enforcing this daily sign-off.

Options

  1. Confirm with Miro support that what I have said is accurate. You can open a support ticket by following the steps outlined in this help center article:
    https://help.miro.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020185799-How-to-contact-Miro-Support#h_01F010RXA0E1S9C0WFQYX75R6C
  2. Email the Company Admins of the Enterprise plans of which you are a member of — knowing who these individuals are is import as they are the only ones who can fully remove you from the Enterprise subscription. You can find the Company Admins by going into the Team members section of each team (from the dashboard):

Once on the Team members/All users page, you can filter by the Company Admin role and you should see the email address of any Company Admins.

Back to what you said before:

If I could at least know which enterprise account is cascading this setting to MY own Miro, I'd just leave it.

From my experience, you will not be able to fully leave an Enterprise subscription — a Company Admin will need to remove you. I should note that this only applies when you are a member of the subscription and not just a Guest (I assume you are a member as the automatic sign-outs should not to Guests).

Yes, you can leave a Team, but your account profile will still need to take the following two actions before your Miro account profile is fully severed from the Enterprise subscription:

From the All users page in the Admin Console, they need to:

  1. Deactivate you
  2. And then from the Deactivate users tab, they need to Delete you (Note: This is only from the subscription and will, of course, not delete your Miro account profile).

Here’s a post where I talked about this in more detail after I needed to reach out to 3-4 Company Admins to be removed from several Enterprise subscriptions:

I hope this helps!
