Dear miro team,I have to pass a long string to a modal when it’s being open. The app is supposed to run at client side only, and wrigin the string to board, then reading it from the modal is not a good option.This is the sudo code:`miro.board.ui.openModal('./editor.html', { dataToBePassedToModal: text })`Is that possible?

After creating the board and collaborating on it, it was no longer possible to name cards. Occasionally it  worked, but 99% of the time I tried to add one no text could be filled in.Cards could be added but text input was impossible. Cards could be opened in the detail view, it was possible to edit the title and description, but those could not be saved. 

Where is the “Hey! Introduce yourself on a board" gone???? See picture attached?We need people to give their names without being forced to sign up (of which many are hesitant to do given the privacy issues)

HII want to remove some Active users from the Team. Will their Boards be deleted if I delete a User?What happens if I make them a “Non Team User”

Hi PeopleWe have a Team plan, with 20 seats. Some seats are vacant. Recently a non-admin team member invited some new users to a board. They were automatically granted 7-day free trials that converted after the 7 days to full team membership, taking up the vacant team seats. This happened with no authorization by any admins. Is this correct behaviour?We also have some team members with Free licenses. I can’t recall how they were invited (and why they were treated differently from the folk above). Do those free members have the same access as any other Team member?Finally, on a Team plan, is it possible to invite free members to just a project or a board, or is membership only available to a Team. We typically want invited users to have edit permission to the relevant boards, but often don’t want them to access all the boards shared among the team. CheersMike 

HelloIn a kanban card description the copy/paste text does not work which is a shame since text is supposed to be quite long here. Things I’ve tried:cleared the cache for miro.com logged in / out Note that copy paste on board item is working.Anyone idea is welcome !

Hi I would like to import a youtube playlist into a board.  Is there a way to do this?  or would i need to use a greasemonkey script or the API to do this?   If the API, any tips on relevant info to try would be appreciated.

Hi all,We would like to provide Board update notifications to team members every day, so that they can view changes, even if they weren’t available for the watercooler meeting that morning.  Is there a way to do this please? Thanks in advance! John

Is there a functionality to add more fields to the cards, mapping them to the fields in the source Excel files? How to add more than one responsible for a card from a team?    

Hello,We try to use jira cards with our own jira server. We installed jira cards and configured successfully a connection between jira and miro. We imported a lot of jira issues from jira into mural - that works quite well. If we edit a jira issue from miro, the issue is updated in jira as expected. However, Jira logs these changes to the user we use for the Jira-Miro connection. Is it possible to map the Miro users to Jira users, so we don’t lose track of changes in Jira?ThanksChristian

I have multiple clients whom I create Miro boards for where I facilitate experiences with them. These are temporary teams. I wouldn’t want to add licenses for these folks, nor would I want to give them day passes as we are working on a project together from 3 weeks to a full year.We are using the boards with the general public, so I often have to lock access while I am working on the board - I would like to allow access for my temporary team while the boards are locked to the public, but again, full licenses for these folks nor day passes seem to fit the situation.Additionally, I would like my collaborative clients to have team capabilities without full licensure or day passes.How do you all manage these “relationships”? Do you just allow them as guest users and use passwords to lock boards to the public? Or do you pay for a full day pass every time they edit your shared boards?Thanks in advance for any insight / best practices!

Can I make this pop-up not show up? Am I the only one that feels this is unnecessary and invasive on Miro’s part. There is already a prompt at the top of this board to sign up for Miro. I am trying to work with a client live and this pops up. I am talking to a client about MY project. This is not about my client using Miro. This is about me - a paying client of Miro, trying to use the tool that I pay for to work with a client. It is inappropriate for Miro to thrust an advertisement into my private client session. This does not take into account that there is no way for my affiliate number to be added to it.   

If a team member leaves the team, can I reuse the same license for a new team member? 

I have a board that I am sharing to view only. I sent it to my phone. I do not have the Miro app on my phone. I opened the Miro link to see the board. I was expecting to see an icon from the phone I was using, but there was nothing that indicated that a viewer was there. I could, however, see my host icon on the phone. Is there no way to see your visitors or do people have to be logged into Miro to participate (add comment)? I would assume I could see them if they set up an account?

It’s been awhile. I have a team that has a couple of boards. I want to create another board and then share it publicly. It is my understanding that viewers will only see the board I have shared and not the other two boards created within that same team. Is this correct? Thanks. 

Hello! I’m wondering if this is possible.Open up the web app on my laptop  Type text on the Miro board, using my laptop’s keyboard Draw shapes using my iPad, on the same Miroboard → the drawing needs to be live-streamed into the web app I don’t have an iPad yet, but thinking of getting one for facilitating workshops as described in this manner.  Thanks so much!

Hello! We have a team of 20 people who need to view and comment the boards (not anonymously so that we know who commented what) . Other 3 people need to be able to create boards/upload and manage them in all the other ways. Do we need a plan with 3 paid seats or with 23 in order for other users not to be anonymous + comment? Thank you!

I have two pieces of work on my whiteboard.  One works absolutely fine - I can move the cursor around, remove rows and columns, copy and paste etc.  The other appears stuck - the hand won’t change to the cursor and I literally can’t do anything with it.  It was working fine this morning but now won’t let me do anything.  Please advise - in as simple terms as possible - I’m not very technical! ThanksBlanche

Hello! I didn’t found any informations concerning my problem. Maybe can somebody help me to solve the following problem. I saved different custom templates in the category “personal”. normally I had no problem to use them. But now I can’t klick on “use template” with the App on my Mac. On my iPad its works… The Bill is payed :-) Any Idea how I can solve that? Thanks!

Hi,I am experimenting with miro’s webplugins. I’d like to display a panel to all people currently viewing the board, similar to how the voting plugin does it. How can I do this? I’d also like to synchronize data between all of the people currently using the board. Is there some sort of data store?Regards,John

Miro was just working fine until recently!  Now when I open anything where you can write text in the first letter of the written text is set on the right side of the cursor. It is extremely annoying and i cant use miro like this no more. I hope someone can help me because i want to keep using this beautiful application. 

Hello all,i am using chrome browser.Linking objects to other objects or linking frames to other frames is working properly when i am not using presentation mode.But when i am in presentation mode, and i click on the link, then the screen drifts to a black area and navigating to a linked object is not working.is this a known issue or has someone figured out a work around.Please let me know.Thanks !!
