How are you migrating comments from board to board when pasting work?
Hi community, Since copy/pasting doesn’t include comments, what’s your workaround to import all work-related comments to other boards when you have lots of them with multiple replies? Over the years of using Miro, I’ve frequently ran into this issue when tidying up boards and looking back on it, I see that it discouraged me of doing proper centralization. Am I the only one running into this issue? It seems like this would be a core part of the workflow.
Option to make an entire object a clickable hyperlinkIdea
I use the Link to very often. While the current functionality of having little blue arrow at the top-right corner of an object function as the clickable hyperlink is absolutely sufficient, there are times when I could like to make the entire object clickable.Example of the current solution using a button from the wireframe library (my use case): What I would like to have happen isthe cursor turns into a pointer; and be able click activate the link by clicking anywhere on the object.Example: I would like to see this new option be available for any object to a Link can be applied.
Cards: Assign multiple people to one cardIdea
Sometimes in our kanban boards we have tasks that regard more than one user. It would be nice to assign more than one user at a time (maybe up to 5?). Right now we use labels for that, but being able to assign users and use labels for categories as intended would be great!
"Freeze" Panes Similarly to Google SheetsIdea
Similar to how Freezing a row or column works in Google Sheets / Excel, I think it would be useful to allow users to “pin” or “freeze” elements in Miro and have content scroll behind / underneath it. The use case for this is when you have a complicated grid or calendar view, similar to my Resourcing board: https://miro.com/app/board/o9J_koZn4wE=/It would be amazing to be able to “pin” the dates at the top and have the grid of projects / resources fall under it, so as you scroll down on the Miro board you can be referring back to the week as you get deep into the grid of projects.

Add custom tooltip to any objectIdea
I would like to add custom tooltips text to any object on the board. When the cursor is hovered over the object, the text would appear, even if the object was locked.Example using Miro’s existing tooltips: Use CaseThis idea first came to me when I was building my 101 Miro Templates Challenge entry board. I wanted to have additional help/instructions for the user that was using my board to learn more about Miro.Another use case would be for wireframe objects:
Set default Sticky Note sizeIdea
I prefer to work with the wider sticky AND I like to stick to using the S size. I would love to be able to set the default to that. I'm guessing that the negative effect could be that someone is so zoomed out when they add a sticky to the board that they can't see it. On the other hand, as a facilitator, it allows me to give the participants some “rails”.
Embedding single frames
Hi, I’ve been using Miro for graphic representation of number of ideas concerning single topic. While it’s super easy to create multiple graphs on one board and navigate between them using frames, it’s crucial to my workflow to be able to embed those graphs as separate, self-updating objects. Embed links seem to work fine, but they address whole board - not a particular graph. Is it possible (or is it a planned feature) to separately embed single frames? Thanks! mwojc
Possible presentation mode with movement via frames in frame mode
Hello, if you are in frame mode and the frames are not so close together then you can get a nearly prezi-like presentation. I haven’t got set frames into details of pictures but with doing this the effects could be even better than in my result. Michael
Basic text format editor of Kanban card descriptionIdea
I would like to be able format the text in a Kanban card description Bold Italic Underline Bullet list ← Important Numbered list ← Important Add link ← Important Bold, italic, and underline are less important because I can do that by using keyboard shortcuts [Command B I U]. Surprisingly, I cannot add link with [Command K]. And there’s no way to make a list. I am working around by copy and pasting a list from other text editor now, which is a huge hassle. Thank you.
[Accessibility] Ability to change the default color of sticky notesIdea
How I can change the default colors for sticky notes so they look better for people with color blindness. The default color make it really hard create different shapes and notes that can be easily distinguished for people with protanopia.

Adding images to the node.Idea
Some mind mapping tools like Ayoa are so powerful. You can add images directly to the main node or children. In Miro, we can't add images to nodes directly. We can just add them to the board and it is not useful. Because of that, we can not align pictures together with nodes by your perfect align button. We have to re-arrange the images again and again. Please add this feature to your perfect app. Thanks in advance.
Increase character limit for text boxesIdea
I use the text boxes to create outlines of design wireframes for developer reference. In these situations, it is incredibly common that I run into the character limit for the text boxes and have to break my outline into multiple boxes. The whole process becomes much more frustrating and cumbersome from then on out.The imposed character limit seems incredibly arbitrary, pointless, and some of the formatting of outlines seems to eat away at the count even quicker. At the end of the day, when I can easily paste giant image files that will certainly chew up my RAM, why is there such a miniscule text limit? surely it’s not a technical limitation. At least allow for a “long text” box or something that supports big blocks of text. It is necessary for me to use your software effectively, whether your product team believes that method or not you shouldn’t actively prevent me from doing it.
Automatically reduce the resolution of images over 32 megapixels.Idea
It would be an nice time-saver to have a popup that reduces the resolution of the image and adds to the board if you select yes/ok?Currently, we are doing this manually in Photoshop. Anything to automate the process would be appreciated.
