I use the Link to very often. While the current functionality of having little blue arrow at the top-right corner of an object function as the clickable hyperlink is absolutely sufficient, there are times when I could like to make the entire object clickable.Example of the current solution using a button from the wireframe library (my use case): What I would like to have happen isthe cursor turns into a pointer; and be able click activate the link by clicking anywhere on the object.Example: I would like to see this new option be available for any object to a Link can be applied.
Hello, Miro Community! We are excited to share that today we have launched a new and improved voting experience to help you easily involve teams in decision-making. With Miro’s improved voting app, we’ve made it easier and faster for meeting and workshop facilitators to get a sense of how the group feels about a variety of options. Quick and easy for facilitators as well as participants Customize the voting process by selecting specific objects to vote on Voting results are visible within just a few seconds after the session ends Visit the Help Center to learn more and use voting to make sure everyone has a voice.
Hi All, HNY…I am just evaluating Miro. I like to keep my mind maps simple either by: Collapsing nodes Hiding all nodes other than node with focus ie F6 in XMind Creating a submap with a backlink How this be achieved in Miro? Thanks in advanced, Ed
Sometimes in our kanban boards we have tasks that regard more than one user. It would be nice to assign more than one user at a time (maybe up to 5?). Right now we use labels for that, but being able to assign users and use labels for categories as intended would be great!
Hi there, Now you have the switching between teams. However, it’s related only to the teams inside of the one profile. In my specific case, I use two profiles: one is work-related, and the second one is personal. The solution I find right now is to work with the professional profile in the Mac OS app, while for personal needs, I use the browser version. It works, but it’s not a perfect option. Sometimes, when I need to copy-paste some of my templates from the board in one profile to the board in another - I struggle because it’s just impossible to do. The reference here can be Slack with the team spaces that can be joined with different emails. Thanks! Best regards, Egor Kurguzov.
July’s Miroverse Challenge: Monster Template! (DATE EXTENDED!) It’s been an exciting few months at Miro with the release of our monster-sized national ad campaign! We created this ad to show the power of Miro and how easy it is to collaborate, innovate, and solve problems of any size, together in Miro. 🙌 If you haven’t had a chance to see the ad on the big screen (cough living room), across social media, or a billboard towering the city, you can check out the full ad here: Want to see how we used Miro to create the ad? Check out this video This summer, we are introducing a new type of creative #Miroverse template challenge. We won’t be focusing on just one Miro use case or template type — instead, we want to see your creativity run wild and create ANY type of template / board that features our beloved (yet a little bit scary) character. Yes, we mean it! Any type of template from icebreakers to project planning goes as long as the Monster is incorporated. Ready, set, create! We look f
A bit surprised that no one has requested this simple powerful feature yet, my team’s boards is a total mess, it would be great if we are able to archive Projects mainly, boards archive would be nice to have but it wouldn’t substitute the projects. This is especially helpful for Agencies and Freelancers who work with many projects a year, right now the only way to keep the directory clean is by by up the projects and deleting them, which is not fun when you have many boards within a project. You guys are doing a great job with the product, but i really think it’s time to look beyond the board features and look after the directory and the organizational issues a bit, thanks.
It would be useful to have a quick way to match the size of one object to another so one doesn’t end up with a wide variety of sizes or have to spend a lot of time dragging each object to line up with others one is trying to match. Preferably a hotkey approach, so the “master” object can be selected, a hotkey pressed, and then one or more objects can be selected and then matched to the master size, perhaps via a second hotkey. Maybe a “paste special” paradigm works. Click master object, Ctrl+C to copy. Click / select slave objects. Then some hotkey to say “paste size”.

Hi Miro Community, We’re so excited to let you know that the Estimation app is now available to all users on paid plans! The estimation process is designed to help your team predict the amount of effort required to bring a project across the finish line ― often used in Agile product development practices. Our new Estimation app lets you add more to structure the process, increase the accuracy of your estimates, and gives everyone a voice with votes. Create Miro sticky notes and cards, or bring Jira development tasks onto a Miro board to make it easier to estimate, and add design files or diagrams for more visual context To make the estimation process more inclusive, give everyone an opportunity to cast a vote, empowering individuals and sidestepping the bias of group thinking Once voting is done, you can start an agreement session to go through results and focus on the tasks where team members disagree Remove the hassle of manually updating estimates in Jira and sync them with t
Hi, I’m making lecture videos using Miro and Zoom’s local recording function. It worked very well, and I love this combination. But from yesterday (28 April), I’ve been experiencing a "Syncing... Please wait \\ Receiving a response from the server. We recommend that you wait ** sec to avoid data loss." panel repeatedly appearing on the Miro app. I tried the web-browser app, another net connection, different time slots (morning, daytime, evening, midnight). What does this message mean? Is this a server-side problem, or some performance issue in my environment? is there any way to avoid it? I use Miro a Lot for Explaining concepts and User-flow Journeys to my team and clients. One feature that would be great to have is “Animations” (Appearing in & Fading Out) like Powerpoint has. The Objects within Boards can be made to appear in a certain Order by clicking on an animation Pane. It will make a beautiful Journey Diagram much more Explanatory and intuitive in a demo session. I wonder if this is in the Roadmap.
At this point, I’d take anything for improvements there. The current setup is basic enough I never use it. The Mural feature of being able to create a sticky note and then draw in it is nice for the continued atomization of ideas. The current absolute high-water mark for Miro-like conceptual drawing on the iPad is Concepts.app on iPad.
Whether anyone had struggles while clearing text inside elements (e.g. sticky notes), with the upfront fear that there are more than 10-15-20-25 elements waiting in the line requiring the same process to repeat again and again? To delete text from the element:Double-click element text Double-click element text Remove text Next elementor maybe for better oriented people:Double-click element ctrl+A Remove text Next element What if ONLY text could be deleted from multiple selection of elements? Why not just select multiple elements, and select option to clear text only? Maybe even some shortcut to that? This could help people to reduce “continuous mechanical work” by repeating the same process dozens of time. The only alternative to overcome “Delete & retype” is to use template (save, load), but again, nobody wants to create that so many templates just because they want to clear the text from multiple selection of elements.I checked every Miro shortcuts & hotkeys, and there's no wa
Hey there!Looking for a way to place a video on a Miro board? You can upload the video to a video-sharing platform (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and simply paste the video link on a board using the shortcuts Ctrl/Cmd+C/Ctrl/Cmd+V. The media will be displayed right on the board! Please keep in mind that the visual preview is only shown if the source service settings allow it: private videos are not displayed on Miro boards but you can go to the video source.
Hello! I’m super stoked on the XD Miro plugin. Seriously excited as this is going to expedite my teams workflow fo sho. Now here’s the question… Is the quality of the import fixed as it is now or is there a possible plan for settings or permanent improvement? It is considerably less quality than when copy pasting an artboard in from XD. It wouldn’t be a big deal but copy is nearly illegible and we use miro for copy writers to make comments on changes. Any feedback would be appreciated.
