Like many others, pivoting from in-person training to virtual training was painful using Zoom, teams, LiveWebinar and Webex. The topic of international standards like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO/IEC 17025 have the potential to be incredibly boring, even in person. My role play roles and physical gestures were a mainstay to keep students awake! It only took seeing Miro once to already see the potential for engagement of every person in the room and deepening their understanding. And most of all, be able to apply the concepts!Building in Miro for the activities was straightforward thanks to being able to use or create templates. The timer keeps people honest. For training, Miro saved the day.Within our own company, however, we have taken uses of Miro to the next level. We use it to design training by mind mapping concepts and then ordering content in logical sequences. And of course, rearranging the content and activities as the concepts get refined.I love having easy access t
What must be said - to all the developers & programers @miro that we did not see and maybe not notice ...

Not anymore!Thank you for all the work that you do and you have done that we did not see and notice.Your’e great - you do an awsome job - you making miro this what it is:One of the best tools in the world and you … you should get the best award in the world for it! Happy Friday Just recently @Natalie Larino has shared that we had a live Q&A session with Stephen Curry (read here). It was exciting and inspiring! I wonder, do you wish to have a virtual meeting with a celebrity you admire? Who would you choose and what is one question you would ask them?
On a massive billboard above the door of the NASDAQ building. It warms my heart to see a logo I hold so dear in such a sacred space. Linkedin articleI wish I lived in NYC because a selfie with the Miro logo on a billboard in the background would make an awesome profile picture. Side note, would a Times Square themed board be too busy?
Could you please suggest which Miro templates are suitable for the below items:1. Interactive Product Integration diagrams - To represent the integration of different softwares in a company 2. Compatiblity Matrix - To create a compatibility matrix having different third party software used within a product. It would be helpful to suggest how to display alerts in this(any template) when some criteria is not met
I would like to use Miro for an upcoming virtual conference. There will be about 300 attendees, so they will all have their own email addresses. Can I create a board and send them a link to access it and edit it even thought they do not have email addresses with the same domain Name as me?
Hi there!!! Here’s a solution I came up for a virtual conference...using Miro!! My Story We wanted to replicate the energizing feeling that comes with attending an in-person conference...virtually! I used Design Thinking to work through what challenges (cost, lack of human connection etc..) we needed to solve for and decided to create a prototype in Miro. My Failure After putting quite a bit of time thinking through the solution and crafting the solution, we determined that a less complex approach would be used to accomodate the conference hosts. It felt like a failure because it the new approach did not quite address the challenges we were looking to solve for. My Win I still view this a win because the process allowed us to think through challenges we needed to solve for, especially as this is a repeating event. If you’re thinking about hosting a virtual conference, think no further than Miro.
I love the Kanban template, using it for the first time this week, but it is *very* specific to Kanban. I was trying to shoehorn a Gantt chart into it, but it just doesn’t allow spanning across columns. On the flipside, the Gantt template is basically just some grouped rectangles (I’m guessing it was an earlier template). It seems like it would be a short jump from the more robust fixed header / grid layout features of Kanban to make them work for a much improved Gantt template. Just thought I would throw that out there… cheers

Hey Everyone, Brad from Miro here. Quick question:Has anyone in our community joined a new company since the start of the pandemic? Are you working closely with people you’ve never met in person? Have you worked into a new culture without experiencing it in the office? How is it going? I’m interested in hearing your experience. What’s working well? What could companies do to make remote onboarding easier? Has Miro helped you feel connected with your team? Thanks so much for any insights you’d like to share. If you’re not comfortable sharing here, please feel free to email me at email@example.comThank you!
Miro is my new favourite tool!I’m a consultant and trainer in the UK and have written a blog post about my experience with Miro and how I set it up for workshops: Miro is my new favourite tool for online workshops and training. Thanks also to the community here for sharing so many great ideas.Ian
I would like to share my little story about experience on Miro. I heard about Miro from approach of Miro consultant in HK, and they offered me and my colleagues about function of Miro board. After that, I moved to new company and I need to work on a details workplan about system requirement. I started to use Miro. Miro is user friendly and I made a great work plan on Miro. But trouble comes when I need to export my workplan the output is in very low resolution. Upgraded subscription is required to out a clear pdf. From the billing article which (mislead me / I misunderstand) they charge with prorate, and currency is not shown. I found the problem after paid a month subscription and the CS, Balazs helps a lot on my case with patient which I would like to show my appreciation on it. Other than that, day pass provide a high flexibility to user which is now only offered to enterprise or consultant. I would strongly recommend to provide this flexibility to all users.
I am seeking a consultant/ freelancer who can support our foresight workshops on a periodic basis. I realize this is not a job board, but it is difficult to find people who might do this work. (Also was not sure where to post this)Thanks for any recommendations! Amy
Hello miro community, I have created a SFD (S*** First Draft) of a Force Field Analysis. A quick workshop to share understanding about opposing forces when introducing change. Please forgive me that I’m not the most visually creative kind of. The board contains some background information on Force Field Analysis. A good introduction and my main inspiration: https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newTED_06.htmLooking forward to your feedback and improvement tips. Also happy to find some contributors for some more appealing creative design.
I have this dream of being able to fluidly and seamlessly present and work with a group using Miro and Zoom, and what I would really like to do is to use both touch to navigate the Miro workspace, and a pen or stylus to write and draw, just as I would on an actual whiteboard.I'm hoping for a single interface to address both.I have tried using a “standard” touch screen monitor, but found the one I tried was only sensitive to a finger tip and the drawing/writing detail was not fine.I have a Wacom Intuos tablet, but have found Palm Rejection with this tablet is not supported in the Miro interface. When using the stylus I have to turn off Touch manually with a switch on the side of the tablet otherwise when I rest my hand on the tablet to draw, it zooms and pans the Miro workspace unpredictably. I find this is clunky and slow when I am trying to get into the flow of working and presenting to a group. My current workaround is to use a mouse for navigation, and then the tablet for writing. I
When our team started planning new projects for the current period, we decided that it was time to have everyone participate and commit. We also wanted everyone to know about everyone else’s projects, and we wanted to provide a chance for everyone to participate in anything that was of their interest and matched their skillset. Obviously, we jumped directly to Miro.In our board, a few things happen:Everyone participated planning the projects. Everyone shares updates on the activities related to the projects they are involved with. Everyone provides feedback! The last point is the one I am most excited about. During our monthly meetings, the whole team jumps into the Miro board to write questions, comments, suggestions, and provide help. We have never been a better connected team (even if we are working from home).

I want to use Miro for presentations. What is the most efficient way to create a recurring frame in a playlist? For instance, I would like to keep referencing a Main Frame throughout a presentation and thus insert a copy of that frame as a different number, but it doesn’t look like I can make a duplicate of that frame. As the number of frames gets longer, It makes it more difficult to go back to the #1 frame. I guess I could add a shape with a link and put it near the frame I am on. Thanks.
Happy Friday There are so many inspiring templates on Miroverse, and we can't to stop talking about them Today I would like to highlight 3 templates from different categories: Filmmakers Storyboard by Persistent Productions is a useful tool for any content creator today. This board merges your shot lists, your film's dialogue and your visual elements all in one place. It puts together a road map for how your film will look when it gets into the edit bay and keeps all of your various teams, whether they are on set all together or you are producing the shoot remotely, on the same page throughout productionFilmmakers Storyboard by Persistent Productions The Privilege Walk (Game) by DesignComputing is a template to carry out remotely a group activity designed to help players talk about and share their understanding of the impact of systemic privilege. This activity is useful as an icebreaker and is also valuable for diverse groups to reveal the effects of systemic privilege in an uneven
Hello,as someone who often enough is filling the wishlist with his own wishes:I’ve noticed sometime a harshly demanding tone to make clear that a wish is urgently needed. We all know this - And everyone here can be sure:Miro knows about the urgent states of wishes. But please remember this:Miro is a great growing company that has over 15 million people using miro and it has grown so fast.Miro listens to every wish but it is a company that has to take care about much much more at this point … that doesn’t mean that we cannot vote for our wishes here… that doesn’t mean we cannot ask from time to time what about thisbut it cannot allow us to ask in the wishlist:“would you please respond to the requested topic”Miro got’s it’s own strategy in responding or in not respondig to requests and like in every company there are things that miro is not able to talk about with us because we are customers and not mironeers - Whoever works with customers knows:You’re not sharing everything you plan in yo
