It would be great if the status of Cards (e.g. ToDo, InProgress, Done) could be linked automatically with the board column.Use case 1:So if somebody moves a card from one column to another column of the Kanban board the status of the card is automatically changed to the coresponding status of the Kanban board column.Example:User moves a card that is in status “ToDo” from the column “ToDo” to the column “InProgress”. Miro automatically changes the status of the card from “ToDo” to “InProgress”.Use case 2:Miro User changes the status of the card. Miro automatically moves the card to the corresponding column of the Kanban board.Benefit:This would safe a lot of time, since Miro Users don’t have to do the same change twice. Additionally it avoids confusion. It happens from time to time that the status of a card is different to the status of the Kanban board. Additional Feature/Wish:Of course it would be great, if this would work also for the integrated Jira Cards. However, it is clear that, this is a little bit more complex, since one Kanban board column in Jira can have several different status values.
Example: I use callouts to design chat bots and place them inside a table. And all tails of callouts are sticked to the underlying table cell.It becomes near to impossible to move callouts or resize table cells because after each resize all tails are messed up.Another trouble: when you copy-paste a callout and its tail occurs over other shape you move the callout and then have to move the tail separately. It would be awesome to have a trigger which disables sticky tails.
We have Miro team setup with the members of our organization who can see most project folders and all of the project contents. If there is something that needs to be restricted the project owner removes the team permission. We have been working with more outside people that need access to all boards in a specific project. Currently a project can only be shared with a team member. Due to team members having access to a fair number of projects we cant add the outside accounts as team members. We have had to use the guest edit access and share access board by board which is cumbersome if there are numerous boards.Wondering if the permissions structure could be updated to allow sharing at the project level with non-team members or some other mechanism to allow better non-anonymous collaboration for a situation like this. We have no problem allocating a license for this person, but it would be a lot of work to go back and remove team level access to each of the project level folders.
As admin on the Miro portal would like to see a way to enforce automatic archiving or deletion of boards after set period of inactivity. Preferably boards are first archived making them inaccessible to the users after which an admin can permanently remove them.Value:Keep the system clean by automatically removing old unused boards. Bring Miro in line with company data retention policy. Limiting impact of data breaches by compromised credentials or unintended active sharing links.
Wouldn’t it be great to add sound clips that add atmosphere (birds singing, waves lapping), or guide the energy of the room by using different tempos of music at different stages of the workshop?---I personally design visual Miro boards, and would love to be able to add sounds that align with the visual content and provide a fuller immersive experience for the participants.---Ideal solution: Drag and drop .mp3 or .wav file onto a board File is displayed as an audio widget is a simple and visually unobtrusive player Preferably just a play button on default view, but with option to expand so you can see full controls Controls: Ability to play / pause / loop, scrub to different points of the track Options: Control for everyone (facilitator controls), or control individually Ability to have multiple audio files per board Playing an audio file will switch off the previous one if still playing.
Unfortunately, the line in the line tool does not arrange with the tiles in the background. This means that horizontal lines are not created automatically. In addition, you cannot connect lines with other lines, which would make it much easier to create cause and effect diagrams.
Can we change the time format in Comment bubbles to a 12 hour format for US users? Not sure why the 24 hour format is used. Thanks!
It would be wonderful if Miro had the ability to let you change the default 24 hour time stamp on comments to a 12 hour time stamp for less confusion on when feedback is given from my team.
Hi Miro team,I note from other discussions in this forum that GDPR compliance is not your highest priority. But I understand that becoming an active participant under the EU/US data privacy framework would enable all companies within the EU to use your services without further SCC or TIAs required. Please can you confirm that this is on your roadmap? Would love to find you on the list below, where most US software providers have already registered.https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/listMany thanks, Johannes
I love adding in cards to my Miro board! Sometimes when I’m making a description for a project using the cards, I like to add screenshots or other images in it. I wish Miro allowed users to upload images to the card descriptions. The closest thing I can do is have the image on the board next to/below the card which feels messy and unorganized.
I would love to be able to create a talktrack for an exercise in a template and be able to drop that template into an existing board. I do coaching and find the talktracks are a great way to explain an exercise in addition to on screen instructions and also not have to do it live. (this would be for “homework” I give my clients). I can create a talktrack on a regular board, turn that into a template, and then add more talk tracks - but they don’t allow me to keep that talktrack after adding a template to another board. Thanks!
When in workshops we often breakout into groups of 2 or 3. New Miro users are often lost and we try to bring them to us which is a great feature but we’d love for the ability to group users group1, group 2, etc… so the facilitator for that group can bring ONLY their participants to the area of the Miro board they are working in.
In all of the other shape types, you can select the text and the text edit tools appear. If you are using the “note?” shape, after you first edit the shape, you cannot go back and change the font size. You have to change the shape type, change the font, de-focus the object, set focus to the object then change the shape type back.
