    Pop-up on hoverDuplicate Idea (closed)

    Not sure if the feature exists. I’ve looked and can’t find it. I’d like to request a pop-up on hover feature similar to what Mural offers. When working on an expansive board, this little feature is amazingly helpful. It works by holding down the ‘x’ key, which changes the cursor to a magnifying glass, then hovering over an element on the board, that element is them magnified in a pop-up window. This allows you to be zoom out, looking at the entire canvas, while at the same time view the details of specific element. So handy!     Ability to resize the Video Chat window / Full screen Video ChatOpen

    Hi everyone, I have been using Miro for a while now but never realised that there is an active community here. So good! One of the reasons that I work with Miro is the Video Chat. It has been essential to my job. I think it would be great if it was possible to resize the video chat windows, including a full screen option. Is that something that you would be interested in ?

    The ability to generate reports for activity (similar to slack and other tools) A good start would be to be able to download the “Activity” tab to a spreadsheet.

    WIP limits in Kanban framework columnsOpen

    Our team would like to see a feature in the Kanban framework where can apply a WIP limit to a column. That WIP limit value would show up in the header of the column. E.g. Column title is “In Progress”, so, if the WIP limit for that column was “3”, the column title may look like: In Progress (3); if exceeded, there would be be a visual indicator. E.g., if a WIP limit of “3”, if four cards were in the column, the background colour would turn light red.

    Jira Cards - Ability to change color of issue type cardOpen

    [Accessibility] A tooltip when I hover over the color picker control / Named colorsOpen

    Being colorblind it is hard sometimes to choose the right color. Distinguishing between them isn’t the problem. Just seeing which one of them is the orange one can be difficult. When picking a color, I would like to see the name of the color, when I’m hovering over one. Of course this applies to the color picker on every object. From sticky notes to the background of whole frames.

    Include Description of Cards in CSV ExportOpen

    Hi, I am working with a Story board and would like to export all the information captured in it. Unfortunately, the .csv only includes details such as Title and Tags which I used, but no Description. Can you please enhance the functionality to include also the Description? Thank you! Julius

    Frame links should give access to the frame aloneOpen

    Sharing a frame link still gives some one access to the whole board - because of this, I cannot use this feature to share links to a particular frame alone. I hope this changes so when someone visits a board's frame, they should only really be able to see that particular frame. Another idea could be that frames can be made public while board overall can be private/team access only.

    Improvement of Teams SidebarOpen

    As a professional service firm we use the enteprise version with multiple teams. Each team is used for one customer with multiple projects. Thats realy good and helps us to seperate contexts! We already have like 30 different teams and number is rising. Is there any chance, that the left-side teams bar can be displayed as list without this big icons? It's really horrible to search the customer/team context. Even there is no "search" box.So my suggestions are:the option to switch between icons and a list-like view a set of easily recognisable icons to choose from a search bar to quickly find teams.

    Search (Ctrl+F) in flow linesOpen

    When searching (Ctrl+F) for text on a board, the utility works for text boxes and shapes with text, but search does not search the board for text along connection lines between text boxes and/or shapes. It would be nice to be able to search for text along lines.

    Need ability to "pin" the Pen toolbar to keep it openOpen

    If a user is working with a stylus on a tablet, they need continuous access to the tools on the Pen toolbar. A solution might be to allow the user to “pin” the Pen toolbar so that it remains open until the user “unpins” it.This request is from the perspective of using an Apple Pencil to do extensive drawing in the iOS app on an iPad, but it applies to any scenario where the user is using the app to primarily draw with a stylus.Currently, the Pen toolbar disappears when a user selects a tool on the Main toolbar. This forces the user to open the Pen toolbar again when they want to continue drawing. In the course of a day, this can add up to many unnecessary (and eventually annoying) clicks to reopen the Pen toolbar. This also interrupts the user’s “flow” and distracts them from the task at hand (i.e. drawing).Occasionally, the user may need to use a tool from the Main toolbar but, when drawing with a stylus, the majority of their work will require the tools in the Pen toolbar. The user should not have to reopen the toolbar that they are primarily using (i.e. the Pen toolbar).

    Pen - don't hide toolbar after tool selectionOpen

    When I select the pen / eraser / lasso the toolbar disappears. I frequently switch between pen colours, lasso, eraser, highlighter etc. Having to click on the main toolbar icon to bring up the drawing related tools is an extra tap/click I do 1000’s of times a day. I would be great if the pen / highlighter / eraser / lasso / pen size/colour sub-toolbar remained visible unless manually closed (X button).

    Highlight a board, that is linked to another board, that it was inactive for past several daysOpen

    When you have a multiple of boards, which are all connected between each other, it would be great to be able to see a highlight (e.g. red alert) on a board that was inactive for over 3 days. For instance, in the image below, you can see a board (“engine and battery”), which is linked to another bigger board, and it wasn’t active for over 3 days. It would be extremely helpful if the “engine and battery” board was highlighted into red or send an alert to a user that there were no recent changes in this board. This way a Project Manager can see which team did not submit any work in the past few days.

    inserting PDF files with clickable linksOpen

    I would like to insert documents (furniture piece lists with linked furniture via URL link - see attached document) into my Miro board and retain the functionality of the links. The upload works flawlessly, but the links are no longer usable, even if the document is a PDF it seems as though Miro converts this into an image surface, without the possibility to click the links anymore. Is there an option to maintain the functionality of links/URLs when uploading documents?

    Sharing: Guests should see shared boards organized in the same project structure as the owner (not all boards in one view)Open

    Problem: When sharing boards with guests, they see all boards as a single view of many boards in their Dashboard, without the ‘project’ organization as will be seen in the owner’s account.If you work with a guest across many boards / over a long time, it becomes hard to find content, and looks really messy.Solution:  Maintain the original project system for guests so they have the same organized view like yours.

    Moving the selection areaOpen

    Hello!But there is one amazing thing in Miro, it is a basic feature, it is not the ability to change the start of the selection area by pressing space. This is very strange.To understand how this works try taking a screenshot on your Mac through an area on the screen, and before releasing the mouse button move the selection area off the screen by pressing the space bar. This basic feature is not available in Miro.

(And lots of frustration for alot of users experiencing alot of resistance to workflow in Miro - As if the promises of miro’s features are right there but just out if reach because they don't work together and all the extra work and resistance created by this missing feature.)Group: Auto alignment(or better yet; locked alignment that allows personalized spacing and grouped movement) AND *collapse pairing*     (allow images and objects to collapse \ hide with the collapsed nodes for workflow and “digestibillity” of the content)

    If we Convert Sticky Notes into Jira issue’s, we need the field “Advanced Roadmap Team” also. Without this field, we have to fill the field manually for each Jira issue.

    Jira dependencies from stickiesOpen

    When creating stickies, if you draw different dependent arrows to other stickies/existing jira cards - it would be nice if when you converted those stickies to Jira issues it would take into account the type of dependency you have laid out on the miro board and mark it as such in the Jira ticket

    Text padding shouldn't change with text size. It makes left aligning difficult atm.Delivered

    One of the things that frustrate me the most with Miro, is the left and right padding around texts that’s always relative to the text size. It basically makes it really difficult to align text blocks. Under no circumstance is the first picture below intended by a user. In stead we seem to be forced to eyeball it like in the second picture below. Why not just do us a favour and make the left/right padding be the same no matter the size of the text. Maybe even leave it up to us to set it? :)   I generally really like Miro! Good job overall! This just feels like a mistake

    Integration with Streaming services for background musicOpen

    I know there is already an idea on Background Music - but could you maybe make it so that people can integrate with music streaming services, like Spotify/YouTube/Apple music - that way they can create playlists and play them during workshop sessions. Ideally it would be easy to control the volume as well.
